Only way to get me to watch this kittening movie is if Christopher Walken voices the villain.

 

And just like that, the movie would be made watchable.

 

As for the pics of the NH kiss, this movie is looking more and more like a godawful fanfic by the second.

I don't care if people came to gloat or not... I mean they have nothing good to gloat about lol. So what if this movie is "canon", I don't give a s**t cause your movie sucks. Your pairing stood no chance in the manga so it needed an entire retcon movie to make it reality. Enjoy the cheesy fairy tale, try this in real life you're screwed. At least we get to savor every manga panel for the pairing that was destined to become canon till it got blown up from Left field for truly unknown reasons

If Naruto and Sakura had kissed, I would not have wanted it to be executed this way.

 

Oh boy... she just saw the pics and her response was "That was the worst kiss scene I've ever seen. You don't super wide shot a kiss scene. You do a close up wide shot ugh.. Then again NaruHina didn't have proper development so it makes sense. Though anything is better than seeing a SasuSaku kiss on screen. And really Hinata you're gonna turn red in front of Naruto again after the speech you made when Neji died.. seriously.... Ugh.. I feel bad for saying it since I ship NH and SS, but it's the truth when you look at it from a story progression stand point. Espeically this which just seems to contradict what was setting up to be."

Your cousin got it right. This movie is ignoring everything that was set up in the manga, including the few moments Naruto and Hinata had. Seriously, so far, the spoilers have not mentioned anything about Neji's death, or are they just exclusively focused on romance? I know two years have passed and both have moved on from their pain b/c of Neji's death, but his death should have affected Hinata at least in some way. And yet it looks like, Hinata has not made any progress. The whole world had to come in to make NaruHIna happen

 

I always imagined Naruto's and Sakura's kiss to be executed like LadyGt's doujinshi "After the War" ^^ That kiss scene was in tune with the characters' personalities. It makes absolute sense that their first kiss would be initiated by Sakura first since Naruto still firmly believes that Sakura has feelings for Sasuke. Only when Sakura takes the first step, will Naruto be able to reconsider Sakura's feelings for him. And of course Naruto just looks flabbergasted and in disbelief of what just happened to him XD Another bonus is that not only does she want to go on a date with Naruto, she indirectly asks him out.

 

Lady GT's kiss is not some corny bishoujo floating moon kiss; it is simple and yet 100% logical. Her version of a NaruSaku kiss is what I personally would have wanted in the Last.

Still pathetic how they couldn't keep Hinata in her frumpy jacket and sweats in her final movie with Naruto. Had to sexify her huh? Couldn't let the MC be seen with a girl in a sweater? Had to tone down Sakura and put HER in the jacket and give the excuse that Hinata is more "self-assured" to have her wearing shorts and a sleeveless top with thigh high stockings in the freezing cold?
The sexism disgusts me. I guess the argument that "Naruto will end up with Hinata because she has big kittens" really was legit.

I should get something to blind me too. Mess up my eyes so I don't have to look at this atrocity even in screenshots. Hinata is shoehorned EVERYWHERE and as someone who never even hated her, seeing her forced appearances like she's suddenly important THIS much is sickening me. It's so contrived it's not even funny.

No matter how many years pass, I'll always remember Hinata as that one character that got too popular for her own good and helped destroy a much loved series in just 110 minutes.
