Damn Lid, what the Vikings gonna do without AP? It has not been a good year for the NFL.

Point #1

I figure they will do the best they can with what they have. Meaning that they may use Patterson a bit more in run schemes. I think the back-ups looked OK last week, but this would still mean that Cassel has to play maybe one of his best games. The defense also has to make some big plays, a couple major turnovers.

Point #2

No doubt about that. This is complete PR nightmare. It's for a reason, though. Some bad things have been going on.

EDIT

Here's an update from a Minnesota news station. This one shows some of the photos of the alleged abuse.

Oof. I'm glad we got the comeback win but we got lucky twice. If Packers don't make the playoffs this year because of defense, I think we need a new D-coordinator. So far my guesses this week are worse than week one picks.

Won the money two weeks in a row in the money pot I play in. Free 105 bucks.

And in other good news. Thanks for the easy win Vikings. On to an easy 2-1 against the Raiders. Then on to a very injured Chiefs. I love how we're using Gronkowski. Only let him play in critical game moments. Good way of keeping his body, muscles, and stamina up. Patriots can be 6th seed (but more than likely they will be 2nd or 1st). As long as they have a healthy Gronk in the playoffs. No one can beat them.

Also. Broncos barely won to a half injured Chiefs. Even if Von Miller had to be taken out the game, you can't start to struggle against an offense with their best offensive leader off the field (Charles). Sure you were missing Welker too, but the Chiefs were missing basically their entire secondary, and other huge parts of their defense. Can't believe Denver almost lost that at home. But they're supposed to be better than Seahawks, 49ers, Patriots, and Cardinals this year? Psshh... Like I said. The Broncos lost their run defense to get a pass defense. Everyone thought they got an elite defense, but wasn't paying any attention to the 5-6 key defensive players they let go of to sign Talib (who will just get injured anyway), Ware, and Ward.

3 5 favorite Patriots performers this week:

1. Chandler Jones: Got to be in the top 3 of my favorite defensive players in the league. The guy will get 15-20 sacks this year.

2 3. Logan Ryan: Browner serves a 4 week suspension for drug abuse, so Dennard is our number 2 cornerback for the first four weeks. However, he sat out this week with a minor injury. With this, Ryan had to cover one of the most versatile players, and possibly the biggest 2nd year prospect of 2014-15. His name is Cordarrelle Patterson. Patterson had a very hard time doing anything today against him, and Ryan even picked off a pass thrown towards him by jumping his route.

3 4. Julian Edelman: Welker 2.0. Nothing more to say. Not only can he be a consistent week to week top 3 slot receiver, but he is proving to be the leagues best punt returner year after year.

Edit: Actually now that I think about it... Why isn't Revis in my top 3? How many yards did he give Greg Jennings? 0? And he got a pick. Man I suck at choosing stuff... And Hightower did almost as good as a job as Chandler did. Revis #2, and Hightower #5. Mccourty and Mayo both played elite as expected, but I'm not changing this list anyone.

Guh, such a pain. Figured the Vikes would do alright at first. That beginning drive was nice, and then everything crashed.

Revis > Sherman

Sherman plays most zones against 3rd string receivers. When he tries to prove he really isn't overpaid and made 20x better by his defense around him, he does crap life this.

Guh... as of right now I'm still only good for 6 picks... But that's what makes the NFL exciting, the W is up for grab most weeks for 90 percent of the league.

Saints lost to the damn Browns.

LMFAO

The Saints D isn't anything great, and the Brown's D has always been extremely underrated. But I'm still surprised the Saints O only managed that many points.

I didn't get the game here but kept watching the score. I was surprised by the lost. According to Sherman the ball was thrown his way 3 times and there weren't any touchdowns thrown against him. I watched the highlights, and the touchdown part was true, but since I didn't see the game, is it true it was only thrown his way three times? Were they big plays? If what he says is true I'm gonna agree with him and say he wasn't really exposed. He is human, not infallible, I guess the issue people take is that he acts like he is.

My Eagles better run the Colts out of the stadium.

Hey, works for me.

Everyone said the Panthers were in for a let down year. So far, so good. Only 7 points and no Megatron TD's. They haven't exactly played elite teams, but that defense looks good and the receivers are just fine.

And yes, the Niners chocked. Well, it was mostly Kaepernick. One man turnover machine.

Yeah Colin gave it away with careless throws. Glad I didn't go to bed early because I would have missed that sexy 1 hand catch by Marshall.

In other news Eli and the crew are still garbage with fumbles and interceptions. 0-2 seems about an accurate start for them Giants.

Minnesota made a bad decision in my opinion today, activating Peterson to play on Sunday.

Shame on the Vikings.

They're just letting the legal system run its course, and then after it's done they'll decide which action to take. But I'm with you man. I would just let him sit it out until everything is done with. Remember how Rice's suspension was about to be over until the footage that wasn't being displayed to the public was finally seen.

Good. If Colts start 0-2, then Patriots will have a easier job at claiming one of those top 2 seeds. :)
