Oh, you mean because Gintama itself has lots of parody and comedy beside the action?It's that Gintama environment is easy for other to get into it. It also helps that the assistant of Gintama Sorachi is the one that made Sket Dance, so it's easy to click.

I thought it was just about Hijikata becomes Toshi and will be finished on its second episode but then there's the third and I suddenly remembered about you mentioned Shinshengumi arc

That's the whole point of Ito's ending, he had it like a true samurai, fallen in battle. That's the highest honor for them (now I wonder, they are similar to vikings in this point).

That's Samurai's Bushido dying in a battle its honorable for them only not Ninja's , Ninja's and Samurai's are total opposites . So a death in battle would fit that little kitten pretty much (preferably by crushing his nuts first then gets his sword stabbed in his ars and dies from blood loss ) LOL XD .

Forgot to mention that I was glad there is this solution/conclusion for Ito. I thought he's just gonna die like that, maybe Toshi or Kondo will cry and the rest will look sad. Sssst! Maybe Sasuke isn't really the author's fav. Maybe there is another character that the author likes so much.And once again, should have that ending for Sasuke instead...
