The breast thing really isn't new. They've been using Hinata's boobs as an 'example' for years now. Anyone who uses breast size to prove a point is immature, or just flat down stupid. It's like the majority of the NH fandom are just perverted little14-year-old boys. I don't know what to say about the females who use this excuse. It's just pathetically idiotic. There is no better word for this argument than that.

"It depends on what the people outside do with you."  Seems to me there's only one way to take that.  Sakura and Obito are all that's standing between Naruto and death.  Methinks that suggests some very powerful possibilities.

It's fine.  I was in a lot of pain yesterday and not able to think very clearly.  I probably wasn't reading carefully, either.

 

But you were right -- it was Hagoromo that Naruto met.  

 

To answer your earlier question, the reason I had hoped for something else (like a reunion with Jiraiya) and thought it being about Hagoromo would be dull is because the parallel of his sons with Naruto and Sasuke has been obvious since it was introduced way back.  One son all about power (Indra/Sasuke) and one son all about love (Ashura/Naruto).  Dark and light, blah, blah.  All the stuff we already know.

 

I wasn't keen to get another forklift of history right in the middle of so much angst, action, and suspense.  We already went through a chapter of it with Guy, so to get another history lesson...?  Sigh.  

 

But this is Kishimoto's way.  Instead of weaving the historical exposition consistently through the story as he goes along, he does it in big (and often boring) chunks.  Nothing new.   I was more in the mood for something emotional and personally meaningful to the characters we care about, that's all.  

 

I felt like Naruto did about the panels wasted on the Sage's sage-yness.  "JUST WRAP IT UP!!"

Ok I looked over the latest chapter over and over and there are some points to the sage's speech that is interesting.

1: He is going to "entrust" something to naruto but said the only thing he can do in that world is just talk to him. Could that mean he can't give any of his chakra or Rinnegan but instead only knowledge and wisdom of the sage's ninshuu??

2: He says naruto isn't dead yet but is stuck inside the inner world of his own mind. Would that mean we get to see the other Kurama possibly talk to the Sage in that world in the future??

3: He can't bring naruto back to the real world but the "people on the other side" would have to figure that out themselves. From what he is saying it sounds like the transfer wasn't enough to bring naruto back but enough to keep him from crossing the border of life and death. Reason why I say that is because naruto couldn't be meeting the Sage like this unless he didn't have all 9 pieces of the tailed beasts chakra. So this is happening after Obito placed the other Kurama and tailed beasts chakra into naruto and not before. (And this is just my guess but it could also mean sakura doesn't have her hand in Naruto's chest anymore cause the chakra is stabilizing him barely). So would this mean we might get a chance to see sakura bring back naruto herself in someway?? I HOPE So!!!!!! XD

4: From the way the Sage was speaking it seems he might have some hate or distaste towards "ninjutsu" and that his "ninshuu" is the way to go. Now I'm not naruto but I would think that naruto would want to confront the Sage about about that cause even though ninjutsu has caused wars it has done its part of good and miracles. So to me it sounds like the thing that the Sage may entrust to naruto might be his "ninshuu" and to become a new Sage......but Naruto is gonna flat out refuse him!! Cause he would want to prove that he can defeat Madara with "ninjutsu" and show it can perform miracles instead of war and destruction!!!

That's about all I got out of this chapter so what do you guys think?? X)

He is saying that Naruto literally it's between the life and the death, and probably Obito and Sakura are doing the impossible to resurrect him. Also it confirms that Hagoromo is some kind of spectre  that transcends the time

but out of curiosity what is the context of this statement? Did he mean Naruto is still in limbo even with kurama given to him? Or is this whole thing taking place while the insertion is going on and the Sage is just trying to cram in all the explanations before its time for him to go back?

I take it you guys don't have a problem with the potential of Sakura being linked to kaguya? Because I'm seeing complaints about how she shouldn't be involved in the destiny stuff, and this is coming from Sakura fans. Personally, I really don't give a damn, I just want my girl to gain some major relevancy.

Yes it is so sad you can only become relevant through paralllels or being 'linked' in other ways. We want Sakura to be relevant, but I take it that this way is better than nothing? Depends on how strong the connection is, oh pleasepleaseplease don't say she is the reincarnation.

To me it sounds like its after the transfer was complete cause the Sage said to Naruto to relax and to take his time to hear his story. That right there says the Sage knows what's going on on the other side and knows Naruto isn't waking up yet from the transfer and that they are gonna have to do something else.

I was more thinking about Yin Kurama first ^^ I was surprised it was Hagoromo to begin with.

 

About flashback, I know what you mean. I also would prefer that Kishi would inform us with that outside action. I often got this feeling that this is annoying too LOL

Its not only pathetic and immature but more than that, its CHEAP way too CHEAP! I mean how can they even compare Kushina and Hinata based on this factor. Comparing Kushina and Hinata based on personality though not valid and is still idiotic can be accepted infront of this idiotic stuff. I don't get worked up when it comes to NH because most of the times I ignore them, but this, I just couldn't ignore this thing! It gets me worked up everytime I think about it. Even if they are just 14 year olds, they should atleast have some sense about what they are talking. I am sure everyone of us here atleast had some sense on which things to compare when we were 14 year olds. This just cannot be excused. GROSS!!! Simply GROSS. Kushina and Hinata deserve things and comparisons much better than this.

off topic question can Rock Lee move at Supersonic speeds ?

 

Military aircraft that can reach the necessary speed that would be considered supersonic can travel over thousands of kilometres in an hour. From what I can remember at the moment, the benchmarks for distance covered that Lee has are rescuing Naruto from Kimimaro after traveling from the village to the border with the Sound country in what had to have been less time than what it took for the retrieval team to arrive (this is when he was recovering from surgery) and Team Guy reaching the nearby River country to reinforce Team 7 after a few days worth of travel. The latter involved him moving as part of a unit though and he may not have been using his optimal speed. 

 

There isn't any information to go by regarding how fast Lee would be moving if he was using the 6th gate. He's statistically slower than Guy but only by a small amount. Kakashi mentioned that the 8th gate releases all of the body's natural limiters, increasing the user's power a hundredfold. Guy's movement had apparently increased to "Speed 5" from "Speed 1". If you believe Lee was referring to Mach speed then Guy would be a 5.0. That's the equivalent of like 6,000 kilometres per hour. At that level, he could have been teetering on the edge of hypersonic speed (at the uppermost limit). 

 

This information doesn't answer the original question though. Guy isn't Lee and I don't think it was ever stated how much the 6th Gate amplifies a person's speed.

The most obvious reason that someone would have to try that is bridge the gap that exists between Sakura and the historical figureheads that now drive the manga. The Sage has just vouched for Naruto's claim to fame. He's the reincarnation of Hagoromo's chosen successor. It's almost assured that Sasuke will have his recognition too once the focus shifts back over to him and his role in Hagoromo's grand scheme has light shed on it. 

 

Can you begrudge any of the people who want to see Sakura have a stake in this game? It wouldn't come as a surprise to me to read that Kakashi inherited a fragment of that ancient chakra. He was originally the counterpart of another youth slated for glory and revolution by several people; that youth being the previous inheritor of Ashura's chakra no doubt. But Sakura represents a different set of qualities. She's not like her destined teammates. Moreover, I doubt Kaguya would be reincarnated into someone else. She comes across as the sort of being (or creature) that would vie to preserve her existence in the form that feeds into the god complex, rather than allow it to be transferred to another person so mundane.

 

These are only assumptions though.
