True problem in this gigantic mess: is capable the Boruto’s (AHAHAHAH, this name….) ‘author’ (named Kishimoto) to create charming characters who could make the story interesting?

 

I can explain this better by taking an example.

 

In ‘The Song of the Long March’ the main character, Chang Ge, is a character too cool for words…

But her (dead) parents were a ‘disaster’ couple: not love, not comprehension, not ‘feels’. A complete injustice done to the notion of ‘couple’.

 

But Chang Ge is a separate entity!

 

Her abilities are related to HER AS A PERSON and not to ‘tropes’ like "if the main character is cool is because he/she is born of two people who love each other" (a too overused concept that often restricts the story potential).

 

Now…

• The village’s kids ARE CAPABLE of being GOOD CHARACTERS in themselves?
• Kishi, SP, SJ may find a way to make out a decent story?

Answer (regrettably): NOT !!!

I have a question.

Is Pixiv a good measure of knowing the popularity of Naruto in Japanese fanbase ?
Because, I went on the naruto tag once and it's pretty much just filled with pairings (NaruHina, SasuSaku, ShikaTema etc)

It makes me question the japanese fanbase :/
Did they just care about pairings for this series ?

 

No it's not

 

Before the ending the two pairs that dominated pixic were NS and SS together with the obvious yaoi ones

 

Of course the ending and the last apperead and made the few NH and Hinata fans actually produce more pictures while the NS people were disheartened, kind of like what happened with Lady GT

 

So what I'm trying to say is that this doesn't change the pairing populairy in Jp, it's just that NS and others probably don't want anything to do with the franchise anymore

it turns out that the Boruto movie teaser was released at the Naruto Live Event.
this person says the teaser begins with jiraiya talking while pictures of Naruto scrolling down (or something like that...he wasn't very clear). and a short scene of adult naruto's back and Boruto revolving around. 
also, he said Sasuke's handsomeness is as incredible as ever (lol)

Urgh, seriously? What reason can there be for wearing glasses? Hmm, bad eyesight? Sarada isn't much of an Uchiha, isn't she? And not looking like Sakura at all, too...

And it will be interesting (read: disgusting and disappointing) to see just how much Boruto learned from his dear daddy...

 

Gotta have a reason for everything. Got to be edgy. Got to act complicated for people thinking your series is good.

Characters like Hinata are "Just Because" character, huh...

 

Make sense to me. I find those characters lazy and perhaps one of the worst. It's as if you don't have development, plan B is "just because". The main problem is that they have characters that are developed and when they are, using plan B is out of option.

I got it ... it will be another love triangle : father , son and father's rival . Boruto does not like his father , but thinks that Sasuke is awesome and all that crap . And Naruto will probably try to train his son , but Boruto will refuse and say he wants Sasuke to be his sensei . And like that . Naruto starts trying to spend more time with his son so he can beat his rival for his own son's love . That sounds legit , not like he did not do it before .

Well today I'll be off, so I'll check on that series tomorrow. See if it's any good. Just didn't like the beginning concept being too generic/identical. But anyone can try to put a spin on it, so here's hoping that's the case.
