Correct me if I'm wrong but this are the relevant interactions between Naruto and Hinata in Part 2:

 

1) They meet again, Hinata faints, and Naruto is confused

2) Hinata confesses

3) Naruto acknowledges how Hinata defended him against Pain

4) Naruto thanks Hinata for the encouragement after Neji died

 

Are we supposed to believe that's enough for them to get together? Don't make me laugh.

 

Do people really not see how incredibly insignificant Hinata is compared to other people in Naruto's life.

Coming to that, I sometimes wonder why did Kishi introduce NH in the first place? Sakura is the main character's childhood sweetheart and she is more or less one of the main characters. So Kishi introducing SS as a competition to NS is understood, but why NH? Hinata is not one of the main characters either. Can someone please answer this for me?

I think it's more like we ourselves introduced NH. It could be a guy and it will still fall the same way. Just maybe not confession, but I'm not against it.

I know right? Zabuza had a bigger impact on Naruto... AND HE'S DEAD!!!!! this is another reason why I HATE Hinata, she is so Miniscule compared to EVER character in the show/movies. Every thing she dose either backfires or is all for nothing. I know of a BUNCH of people who hate sakura for her being "Useless" but they can not come do even slightly dislike Hinata. at least Sakura TRIES to help, and even when she fails at least SOMETHING gets accomplished.

He won't, I have a gut feeling that he's going to stay dead (even though I just found out about it). NH fans are just butt hurt because Sakura is all alone with Naruto (sort of) and Naruto just woke up in her peresance. Its kinda hard for some one that's dead to show up to them don't you think? That's why I don't think Neji is going to show

As patrick says we have to take nh from the spotlight and move them aside. There could be a chance for naruto to meet neji but neji would have to wait in line. Theres jiraya theres kushina theres the sage so neji is pretty minor. Most likely naruto will wake up in front pf yin kurama but I wonder why. Theres the supposed sage meet but apart from that not much.

I guess Rikudou is the best shot because I can see other Bijuus showing tons of respect to Naruto after they were saved before, so the reward could be Rikudou Sennin. It could be the only chance for all of them to see before the final farewell. It's like "use it when you know it's finally the time" and Naruto might be it.

Also i'm anxious to see what NaruSaku child will be, I wonder if Kishi will actually go with the name Shinachiku from the sound of the interview it seems like he's been thinking of a name for Naruto's son for a while now which could be a sign that we might get a timeskip epilogue same with what DBZ, Rurouni Kenshin or alot of other Shonen's did

It's like how can ONE character, an anime character, someone fictional make you so angry and hateful. Just don't understand. Sakura's abilities go beyond Naruto, it reaches into the real world. Haha.

I think it has no chance in hell. I mean I won't blame you for feeling that way. It's just that I think we looked at it the wrong way for a while. I used to think NH always has a chance but now, that's all gone. It was never be.

There was Neji and her sister, for both she had to work hard to show she could stand up against/with them. And then her goal was to stand beside Naruto and reach him. But what I really want to see is Hinata work on improving for her own sake.

 

And maybe she is and I just haven't seen it.

 

But I don't want to see her compaired or paired with anyone. I want to see Hinata grow stronger and become an independant Kunoichi. One that has her own goals that aren't wrapped around catching up to other people.

 

As far as NH goes, I think its a sweet one-sided love. And it served as a way to show how Naruto could encourage people even in the first arc. But Hinata is only one example of that. I think NH isn't are significant threat and that Hinata will walk away knowing that even though she didn't get the guy, she still walked away having improved because of her bond with Naruto.

I'm fine with either, though the rules of shonen jump dictate that almost always the Main characters kid MUST be male and MUST look like a duplicate of him (Goten, Kenji Himura, Levin Glory.....whoever the kitten Edward Elric's son's name is etc.)

Hinata really isn't as bad as some make her out to be, she just wants to be acknowledged and that's where she found common ground with Naruto, who also struggled and wanted acknowledgement from the people who rejected him. She saw in him the hope that she could be better if she just tried hard enough, and she has tried. She doesn't always succeed, no, but I can't fault her for that; Hinata is not the heroine and can't be expected to act in that role. But that doesn't mean she doesn't have a purpose in the story, and I'm not convinced that her development is done either. Hopefully her final development will include her finding her independence, maybe stepping into the role of a leader for her clan.

 

I especially agree with the bolded. Neither Hinata nor NH are a 'threat', and never have been. Hinata is just another person who has been encouraged by Naruto's influence, but she is not and has never been his love interest and thus is no threat to NS.

Hinata as a solo part of development: decent

Hinata as a pairing development: bad

 

In a way, if you side just for the solo department, she's decent. However, if you follow or fall in the pairing world, you'll ask nothing but bad things.
