Uh...to my knowledge he never said that. He blamed the Arizona Wildfires on Illegal Immigrants but the Miami Heat? Doubt it sounds like something from the Onion.

Okay so a ProLatino site publishes an article that McCain blamed Illegals for Miami Heat loss after the controversy in Arizona where he's been mocked. I'm no fan of McCain, but until I see proof from Dan Weiss or Guest Blogger of sources. JJ Barea himself has no mention of this on his twitter feed. Don't you think that the Mavericks would've responded to it if it were real?
And where's the media reporting how a United States Senator blamed immigrants for the loss of most disliked team this year in sports? That's in Miami?
That isn't McCain. A Phoenix Suns Fan.
It's a spoof response of his remarks in Arizona. Complete BS. Hoax.

Good job repeating countless others and putting two stereotypes made into sympathy tools in ONE article.

1. "This is worthless NONSENSE."
2. "This is an interesting, but perverse, point of view..."
3. "True, but quite unimportant."
4. "I ALWAYS SAID SO!"

The article is written by an African American women. You might consider her and the African American women who run that website's perspective instead of dismissing it because it makes you uncomfortable. As a mixed race woman ("white" and Native American) I certainly can strongly relate to what she writes.
It's an uncomfortable fact to confront about how much of our culture is built on one kind of oppression or another, and how much we internalize those oppressive images so much that it seems "normal". The women on that website are trying to end one form of that oppression, because it has a direct effect on their daughters. They are so blunt because it is about the way our culture sees and treats their daughters.

Haha easy. I know. It's just fun to make people point out the obvious.
