I was scared at first for the Eagles lol. But why did you pick packs over hawks? You should have known their D was gonna steamroll them xD.

 

Figured A Rod and Lacy would be able to overcome them. That Seattle D is scary good.

 

And yeah, that Eagles game was nuts.

The Packers haven't had a good run defense in years! Marshawn Lynch was definitely going to break 100. I'm surprise he didn't have an AP numbers day against the Packer defense. We need better ILB! And of course the D was going to be an issue for a line that is mediocre at best.

 

There were a lot of one sided games this last Sunday, especially that 49ers vs Cowboys game. Yeesh. The Saints game started one sided but they don't seem to do so well with holding leads.

I'll never forget Steve Smith, but Kelvin Benjamin is making it eaiser to move. He looks good.

My Patriots did terrible in the 2nd half. It's okay. Was an away game in a rivalry game for week 1. Saints, Steelers, Bears, and Broncos all did extremely bad in the 2nd half too. Got to get that week 1 dust off our shoulders. Don't be surprised if Patriots go from 0-1 to 13-3, if not better.

 

Fun Fact: The last time the Patriots lost a season opener was in 2003. It was a blowout loss. They went on to win the Super Bowl that year.

Romo just isn't making enough good decisions anymore... But his key pieces aren't as "elite" as they used to be because the defenses have just gotten better while they have not. Coupled together, that just will not work out well.

wow, the NFC East looks pretty horrid, outside of my Eagles. Our biggest enemy will be ourselves. Yesterday was a good example, Foles was missing open receivers, staring straight at defenders, and holding the ball too long. Luckily the defense, the running game and special teams all made plays and Foles did enough to get some touchdowns. Mostly because Ertz and Maclin got wide open on their TD plays. 

 

They cannot play half as bad next monday in Indianpolis.

Eli is gonna have another garbage year. This will be an easy playoff route for the Eagles.

Yeah, I don't see anyone other than the Eagles will make much of a splash in the league this year. 

 

Minnesota's offense did well against a crazy talented and young D-line. Peterson's numbers will continue to be less than Patterson just because the defenses will continue to stack the box every time he's in the line up. Maybe they should implement the read-option? Cassel isn't that fast, but it would loosen the defense for both Peterson and Patterson. While their offense did well their defense played against an aged back up and a 2nd year undrafted QB.

This is according to the Houston CBS affiliate

 

"The beating allegedly resulted in numerous injuries to the child, including cuts and bruises to the child’s back, buttocks, ankles, legs and scrotum, along with defensive wounds to the child’s hands."

 

Peterson, according to the story, used a tree branch which he referred to as a "switch."

 

Also from the story, according to police reports -

 

"telling authorities that “Daddy Peterson hit me on my face.” The child also expressed worry that Peterson would punch him in the face if the child reported the incident to authorities. He also said that he had been hit by a belt and that “there are a lot of belts in Daddy’s closet.” He added that Peterson put leaves in his mouth when he was being hit with the switch while his pants were down. The child told his mother that Peterson “likes belts and switches” and “has a whooping room.”"

 

The Viking have now deactivated Peterson for Sunday's game vs the Pats.
