NOOOOOO I just watched the ANBU + AoNE version of 101 and Kakashi got SURPRISED and not PUNK'D like he did the first time I saw it. Also he said that using the table was unintentional T_T

I was surprised I was gone for so long too! I guess that's what working during the busy season does to you.

I just flicked through Viz's Naruto vol 5. I really think their translation standard has dipped this time, since some of the characters were saying things in the wrong tone. There are plenty of nicely detailed thoughts and conversations, but you can't help noticing the bad moments. They buggered up the NaruSaku comedy moment after Lee and Gai's hug too!
The correct one (Inane) is:
Naruto: *points and smiles at Sakura* That's some good stuff there.
Sakura: *points at Naruto* Idiot! Way too dangerous! (meaning that she was telling him he had a deathwish to suggest a hug)
Now... the Viz one...
Naruto: *points and smiles at Sakura* Doesn't it give you a warm, fuzzy feeling? (sounds okay)
Sakura: *points at Naruto* Don't be an idiot! They're up to something! (does NOT sound okay!)

bah I don't really read Viz's manga anymore. I only read up to volume 3.
I just buy the Viz version for future reading and something to pass on to my kids. Actually I'd be passing my manga collection on to my kids anyways.

(Itachi is sitting in his bacheleor pad that looks like something out of Austin Powers or another 60's movie. Suddenly Sasuke kicks down the front door.)

Itachi: ::takes a drag:: Like what's your deal man. I like am just sitting here minding my own business and you're like invading my personal space.
Sasuke: YOU KILLED THE CLAN I WILL AVENGE THEM BECAUSE I AM THE ANGSTY AVENGER!

I want to do my own NaruSaku animation! Unfortunately, I haven't come up with any good jokes yet... Humour is my weak point. I can do almost ANYTHING with Photoshop, but I need a script! Anyone! *weeps*
