If you mean Erina well i read somewhere in website i don't remember what its name but 80% of comment there hate her and prefer Soma with Megumi or Ikumi.

By the way who is the author name?

 

Erina has come second in the popularity polls both the years the poll has run, with Souma taking first place, Megumi on the other hand has dropped from third to fourth. This is when Megumi had allot more screentime compared to Erina, and not only has she maintained her spot, she's extended her popularity compared to Megumi, in the first poll there was less than 10% difference between the votes between the two, where the latest poll Erina got over 75% more votes than Megumi. I wouldn't take much notice of comment, if you let comments control you, you are basically Kishi, an idiot who got duped into thinking Sakura was hated by all her fanbase when in reality it was rather small.

 

I'm sure the auther is male, it's the contributer to the recipes who is female and often credited as a co-auther though it's more collab work, though I do think she's written the cooking recipe specials.

Edit: It's seems Erina is adament on not trying Souma's cooking, that shows a certain fear in his style of cooking, her refusal this chapter is a strong indication of that. Erina fears Souma's cooking.

*chuckles* Erina is being her tsudere self exclusively to Soma still huh? He reminds you of Joichiro Huh? If only you knew. BTW While I do worry about the same things as those who don't ship Soma and Erina, there is one oint that must be pointed out. It is only petty and uninteresting IF Erina only sees Soma as Joichiro's son and not as his own person so that's why its okay that Soma reminds her a bit of his father for now but she shouldn't know yet so they can properly develop before the reveal. It's only shallowif she starts taking interest in soma only cause he is blood related to Joichiro and no other reason.

That also means she has already acknowledged his cooking but she's to stubborn to admit it  . Maybe bc there's a strong rivalry between them apart from all the other stuff between them  , or it also might be the case bc Soma's cooking and him as a person has great influence on her as it defies her cooking principles (Azami's) and  makes her go out of her way , breaking the chains she's trapped in which is why Senzaemon put his trust in Soma .

I believe the author is smart enough to not go in that direction , so far his writing has been good and consistent he knows his story . Ultimately we have to wait and see the true purpose of Jouichirou's connection with this , for Erina  and Soma and their development , where will it go from there on . While many think "instant love"  I think it has a different purpose but we'll see .

Was anyone confused how Azami let Erina just do her own thing? He made a big thing about making an appearence at her restaurant at the event, then telling her he will now control her life and even fired Hisako, but hours after that he's like, yeah let her be, and cancel her appointments....that confused me. You'd think the git would be more demanding on her being found.

It was a bit confusing no one expected that I think !? But if anything it made him more scary bc in that way he looked confident like no matter what she does he'll still have control over her and everything will go according to his plan . Its like he wants to toy with her giving her a bit of freedom/hope in order to take it away later and brainwashing her some more in order to teach her a lesson , its like mental torturing of the worst kind .
