Plotting to become the juubi's jinchuuriki... Since Madara couldnt''t become it because he's an edo tensei body and Obito is too predicable, maybe Kishimoto wants to give a surprise about this.

 

I remember when Tobi, at the time he revelaed to readers the plan of Moon's eye, said to Zetsu something like "It's the time to link Sasuke to the gedou mazou maybe...."

And Obito, a few chapters ago, said that it's time to make a jinchuuriki's juubi. The strange thing is that he hasn't specified a name...

So you think Sasuke will try to become the Juubi's Jinchuuriki? I don't think that's gonna happen but we shall see.

Is it bad that I don't want the love triangle to reemerge? This manga has had nothing, but drama the entire time when it comes to pairings and the fandoms from all fronts is in a hectic frenzy. From the events of 615 to now, it feels like it has been nothing, but this huge pairing battle. Probably one of the biggest battles in the war.

Eh, nothing for nothing, but while I can fight on I don't want to and I am exhausted from it.

Some say the love triangle needs to be touched upon and such, but I don't know...I am still kind of tired from this last battle...maybe a few chapters where there is no pairing drama is good, but knowing us and the fandoms we will trying to bring pairing drama even when there is none.

And I don't want to see Sasuke all of a sudden have feelings for Sakura either. I am sorry, that is just forcing drama into the situation. Especially true given that Sasuke has never felt anything for Sakura before. I know some say that this is an invalid argument, but honestly you have to see it not the moment itself, but how we get to that moment. If the moment just happens with no build up to it and out of nowhere, it moments like that that feel like forcing events to occur because the writer want it done. Sometimes it works...most times it doesn't, but I feel Kishi is not good at these kinds of things.

Although it does say a lot about the situation. If it comes out of nowhere, it will lead to nowhere. That's always been my philosophy when reading stories. The only thing that built up to that would be the "Thank you" scene, but it is so weak that I am not even sure it can hold up this massive weight before it crumbles. Admittedly, I am very involved into the pairing war almost as much as I am involved with the story. So these constant pairing dramas ends up taking a toll on me after a while. Especially when they are rapid fired at me.

Considering that Sasuke is fixed on becoming more powerful it's quite possible. Just imagine his reaction to Naruto's RKM.

That's what I was thinking but in that case how will Naruto defeat him ? Sharingan hax and Juubi's jinchuuriki at the same time seems too much.

You know, you made a good point. Hm. I remember day dreaming this that once Naruto was about to end Juubi, the next page/panel you see Sasuke up close and then say something, "It's mine" which will shock the world. Now I'm starting to think other possibility. Maybe if he becomes one, he will take out Madara to get rid of "burden" and then, he will be the one to do whatever mean necessary to change the world, much like Lelouch from Code Geass.

 

Will it happen? I don't know. I hope not, because that will be so messed up for everyone to feel like good ol' days, only for him to backstab them all. I also image Sakura just completely image old Sasuke and the image of it completely shattered, indicating that this is enough for her, which she would shout out how much she hates him, as Sasuke smirks. Again, I daydream this at one point. Anyway, people wondered how Naruto would defeat Sasuke with Juubi? Well if you ask me, that's the fun part because the incredible power challenged by a guy who may seen weak in comparison. Plus, Naruto is near to be God, so perhaps when that comes, he's ready to take out Sasuke with Juubi. But anyway, we have to wait and see.

The confession was left unresolved an Kishi knows the negative response he got from fans. I think it will be brought up again.

 

But we have the Sakura-Kushina parallel for this now, so something can come up from it aside from Hinata's confession and other stuff left unresolved too. Again, the parallel is just a starting point now, undoing it would be kinda making things more confusiing then we need them to be, I mean its a mess in its own right, right now.

Everyone of the K11 were pretty much panicking until Naruto declared that he was going to take care of Sasuke by becoming Hokage (or smthng along those lines) and everyone settled right back down.(Except for Shikamaru)

 

It's not so hard to imagine Sasuke predicting this kind of situation and using this to his advantage, add to that that they weren't able to ponder to much on this because Hashirama notified them of the 10-tails rushing towards them. And you have a situation where most people can set aside their insecurities and suspisions for the moment.

First of all, Naruto didn't say out loud that he will handle Sasuke himself, rather just saying that he will take the Hokage spot first. Shikamaru said it best that it's best to have him for stronger military, but to acknowledge is another story, which he doesn't agree to. Even if that's the case, it feels nostalgic to have everyone together once more, so you can say nostalgic is what made them feel settled. But once that ends, how's everything going to be handled. Well, that's a story waiting to be unfold.

 

I believe Juugo truly hinted the behind the plan from Sasuke because he went there and tell them that he will become Hokage, whether they care or not, and then that's it. You don't hear him talk anymore. Sasuke has a poker face that only Juugo knows that something is up with him. What is it? We don't know but we'll see once the greater foe is out of the way.

No solely Sasuke's declaration, I don't see why there's a need to declare this.

 

I mean if he means to betray Konoha after the Juubi falls why would he need to provoke everyone like that?

 

Much better to keep silent and not to get even more on everyones bad side if you're planning on gaining their trust so you can betray them later on.

Wonderfully said, regarding the pairing drama. Thou flat some resolution without drama beforehand would deflate the situation a bit and the ones who truly want to enjoy their OTPs can do without all the rage of haters.

Don't know how Sasuke will betray Naruto but I see him doing such an act because of his persona. He uses people and he will do the same with Naruto. As for why be in the thick of it, 1) arrogance and 2) tactical advantage, he would have the one who poses a threat to his plans close to him ( keep your friends close, and your enemies closer ) in order to neutralize him. Now it all depends on the events that follow. Sasuke never accepted Naruto as an equal and always saw him inferior to his skills but if Naruto shows Sasuke that he is more powerful then Sasuke will search more power to defeat Naruto. How will he obtain it is left to debate. The juubi doesn't necessarily need to be inside of him to control it so it would fit with the prophecy regarding his powerful eyes.

I'm just waiting for Sasuke's double cross. I didn't see Killer Bee head in with Naruto and K11 but if he did it would afford him the opportunity to complete 10 tails and go rampage. The hokage are outside of the barrier and prone to Orochi's jutsu(except the first hokage) so let's say Oro keeps our heroes inside the barrier allowing Sasuke his revenge (sorry I'm with Juugo I think this sudden change is BS) the first is able to break the jutsu, but would he? It would mean certain destruction. I know it's off the wall but Madara may be the one to help ! All commander rape-face seems to want is a rematch with Kakarot......erhmm I mean Hashirama....so there is a slight chance for Madara redemption as well if this off the wall scenario unfolds. To me this would be much more interesting but maybe Kishi has something equally as good up his sleeve. I just can't accept Sasuke is there just because "the enemy of my enemy"....It doesn't feel right.

Now it would make for an interesting turn if Sasuke did become the 10 tails jinchuuriki. It would set up a Naruto vs Sasuke showdown in a very epic way.....hatred of the tailed demons vs sage of the six paths....mega epic DBZ style battle ensues! It would also tie in to the speech Naruto gave Sasuke about the two of them dying together, although I think Naruto will end up saving Sasuke in the end. I personally feel it would be poetic if he died...the death of the cycle of hatred in the ninja world.

He cant become because it lacks the body to do that, Sasuke cant become it's junchuuriki without hashirama's cells.
I feel like he's plotting but it depends on what type of resolution he will have after this arc, most likely he's becoming aware that the whole "becoming hokage" is not going to work and will go for another plan.

There are plenty of ways to create more drama without resorting to such matters. In fact, we the fandom create most of the drama for ourselves. Look at the supposed "Sakura blushing" panel. That alone shows we make the drama more than Kishi does.

I hope Kishi doesn't try disturbing the lion's den with the love triangle. Especially with trying to remind people of Sakura's feelings for Sasuke. That is such a huge thing to do that could have such horrible outcomes. I can foresee many claiming "See? Even after chapter 632, Sakura is still the weak minded fool." Sakura is always hated by some of the fans, I don't want to give them a good reason to.

The only way another pairing moment should occur is if you put Sakura in a situation where she HAS to choose between Naruto or Sasuke once and for all. It really needs to happen and it really needs to be put to that test. So many times it was easy for Sakura to make a choice or avoid answering the question, but eventually there has to be that moment.

If Kishi really did have even one panel where she blushes over Sasuke, it will definitely cause more problems than it solves....all for the sake of one last drama? To be honest, we the fandom create enough drama with our own imagination. Kishi doesn't need to really do anything at this point and drama can occur.

I think Sasuke is being straightforward imo. He just wants to be hokage all of a sudden. I think Orichimaru will blindsight him and everyone else.

 

Naruto vs Sasuke fight will parallel the two sons of the six path ( i don't remember the story, but I think its the sage of the six path)
