So if I'm not wrong Kishi will make Sasuke kind and Hinata more like Sakura, so in the end he will show that if SasuHina was different Naru and Saku would become NH and SS, something that I find very unrealistic to be Honest I'm more lenient to believe that Kishi is doing this just to show that no matter the personality Naruto will never love Hinata probably he would be freak out a long time ago and Sakura at the end of the day will find out that just appearance doesn't makes her happy, Naruto is the one that makes her happy now.

I have a very strong feeling thaty this Movie will be great in the NaruKushiMina area, but the NS fanservice will be huge.

Yeah, if Sasuke and Hinata were completely opposite of their true selves, maybe the other pairings would have happened. Would we have a problem with Naruto getting with a Hinata more similar to Sakura throughout the manga? Would we be ok with Sasuke getting with Sakura and not that gloomy preteen from before?

The entire manga would be completely different if they were the people they are in the movie. If the manga restarted today with Hinata and Sasuke's opposite personalities, a lot of people wouldn't have the same ideas about their pairings as they do right now.

I think you're looking at it the wrong way. You're looking at it from now and going backwards. If Kishi is doing what you say, then he is thinking of it from the very beginning to now.

To be more bold, I think Kishi will troll NH and SS in this movie, and secondly maybe Kishi is really tired of fan saying that Sakura is only close to Naruto because Sasuke is a jerk and right now he's not around and Naruto hasn't noticed Hinata because she is not more forward with her feelings. I think Kishi may show the fans that by doing that Naruto will still love Sakura and Sakura even with a good Sasuke will eventually still fall in love with Naruto. That's what I was implaying.

Yes I agree, I think we will see that Naruto and Sakura actually do not prefer the different personalities of Hinata and Sasuke. Just a hunch, who knows.

I just wanted to bring up that opinions would probably be way different if the original manga had this Sasuke and Hinata.

I couldn't agree more. I've said is before as well. This could definitely be Kishi way of dealing with the what ifs the fans have been asking themselves over the years.

The changes in personality will serve mostly for comedy but I think they could fit in those questions above.

Azure, please understand. Nobody here is saying that what we're discussing will happen 100% for sure, nobody. But since there's still so little information about the movie the only thing we can do is speculate of what might happen. We are just doing it for fun, not to impose our ideas of what the movie could be about.

Truth is, if Hinata became more forward and less shy, she wouldn't be Hinata. Shyness is a personality-trait of her.

Look at the shirts he is wearing they are all Uzumaki Clan symbals, Kushina also her shirt shows she still represents the Uzumaki clan, from what I can gather from the post on this thread Minato and Kushina are still the same as canon, so even if this movie won't technically be canon, it should prove that Naruto would still have the Uzumaki surname even if his parents survived.

I like the new sketch....wonder if it means Kushina is Minato's assistant as it does look like a office work outfit, Minato looks like a noble lord or something similar.

Remember that the reason Naruto was given the surname Uzumaki in the first place was probably to hide the fact that he was Minato's son. I'm sure that Minato made his share of enemies throughout the years and they would probably want to harm his son if they had the chance.

With Minato dead he wouldn't be able to protect Naruto from his enemies so it was better to conceal Naruto's identity. This might also be the reason why no one ever explained to Naruto who his parents were, if they did he would probably start to brag about it (being the loudmouth that he is ) and any enemy of the Leaf could possibly catch word of it.

But since this is an alternate universe with his parent still living then I don't see any problem with him being called Naruto Namikaze. No enemy would dare harm him knowing Minato wasn't that far way. I don't see why he would get his mother's name just because he's wearing an Uzumaki t-shirt. Remember that every Leaf ninja wears the Uzumaki symbol when they have ninja vest.

Really all someone needs to do is get the magazine, if it's in a magazine - or a video with the magazine of someone ... reading it like in those previous videos with Naru siting at the ramen table with Sasuke and Sakura. does anyone know if it's in a magazine?

Just a thought but could that scene have something to do with sakura meeting kushina and minato? kind of like when a son bring home his first girlfriend?

From what I understand it's not uncommen in Japan for a child to gain his mothers clan name because it holds more power.

The story about Leaf Chunnin and Jounin wearing the Uzumaki clans symbol is another reason you'd expect him to be called Uzumaki, The Uzumaki clan name holds a deeper meaning for Konoha, one of friendship and sacrifice, he'd want his son to carry on those ideals, he named his son Naruto in the hope of him turning out like the charactor in the book. (Which coincidently just so happened to be based on a Uzumaki.)

The Uzumaki clan was respected and a good friend to the Konoha village, that is true. But I don't see it as reason to give him that name. Also remember that Naruto isn't the last Uzumaki in existence, at the very least Karin is another member who is still alive. Additionally I think I remember Kushina mentioning that after the Uzumaki village was destroyed the last remaining members scatter around the world which would serve as evidence that eventually the Uzumaki clan can unite once again and eventually increase, even without the help of Naruto. Since Naruto is not the last Uzumaki that means Minato has no reason to try to preserve its legacy by changing Naruto's surname.

As far as naming him Uzumaki because that clan had more power, that becomes immediately invalid since the Uzumaki loss all of that power the moment their village was destroyed and the members scattered. Even in a universe where the Uzumaki clan still had influence I think Kushina would rather have her son carry on his father's name, she would in fact be proud of seeing Naruto carry on Minato's legacy.

On a completely different note TheTokyoKit's youtube page has disappeared. I hope he can recreate it and keep giving us updates.
