You know, I wish I have the skill of LadyGT or any artist to make one chapter that I have in mind. It has no dialogue alas chapter 599 and it's like a montage of Naruto doing one thing after next. It's hard to describe but maybe I will have a plan in paper or something that guy did in Bakuman.

Both ignoring that part I get what you mean.
NaruSaku>>>Sasuke = Hashi/Mito>>>Madara, HiruBiwa>>>Danzo, JiraTsu>>>Orochimaru, MinaKushi>>>no Sasuke, ObiRin>>>Kakashi, all of them of the same fate tragedy.
Same fate?
MinaKushi they had a son and the reason of the tragedy was Obito, but not all of them had the same fate.
Different stories with different endings.
Also Obi/Rin wasnt a full NS parallel because Rin wasnt a Tsundere and neither a fangirl.

That's why I said some were more speculative. I don't think we'll receive any more details about Biwako but she seemed to be strong willed women. It wouldn't have surprised me if she smacked Hiruzen for trying to peek at the hot springs with Jiraiya.
Question: Was that scene where Jiraiya bragged about his peeping skills to an interested Hiruzen canon or filler?
Still, we know that Hiruzen is weak against pretty girls given how Naruto made him nose bleed with his sexy jutsu.
And about Mito, I'm still hoping we'll find out more about her personality while young. For now from the pics we have seen she comes off as a strong willed woman. Her younger self has a very strict gaze.

1st- that post was edited like 5 times Sorry.
2nd- If you die because of an accident or murder that is classified as a tragedy.
Death due to natural causes are the only ones that are not classified as tragedy, if you look at the names I mention one or two of the characters died due someone killing them or costing their death.

well the only thing bad that happened with Mina/Kushi is that they could not live with Naruto but they were a happy couple about Mito/Hashi, Madara'sdeath whast something that can be labelled as a tragedy Hashirama could not do anything and moreover they were happy and had kids.
The only tragedy which are a parallels are, Obito/Rin, also i dont count Jira/Tsu as a parallel for Narusaku because it's way different than Naru/Saku, obito and Rin resembles the most.

For Jira/Tsu, it's more the fact Jiraiya parallels to Naruto. Even Tsunade saw that within him before he fights Pain head on. Even so, the main point is that Jiraiya listed everything he failed that Naruto hasn't yet or even ever. From what I heard, he was going to be Hokage but due to losing Orochimaru, he refused to be one forever. At least that's what I heard, supposedly coming from databook 3.

And Tsunade had a reason to Love Dan, because Dan encouraged her and supported her.
And Jiraiya not just because of Orochimaru but he also said he was too much liberal.
Even with Orochimaru and constantly kept travelling.

In all honesty I think Hiruzen is yet again another parallel to Naruto, although a more subtle one. That becomes clear when you compare Hiruzen and Danzo with Naruto and Sasuke.
What we know for sure is that Sakura is this generation's Tsunade and Rin. The Kushina one was done purposely vague so that it wouldn't be too obvious mid story that Sakura was meant to be with Naruto. At least that's my perspective.
Now that we have brought up Hiruzen I have realized something, the main character of each generation has a significant woman that is associated with him, not necessarily for romance, but only because tragedy happened. If NS happens it would follow a pretty nice pattern.
Hashirama and Mito
Hiruzen and Biwako
Jiraiya and Tsunade
Minato and Kushina
Obito and Rin
Naruto and Sakura
I get the feeling that in some way or another each previous generation pair shares characteristics with Naruto and Sakura. Some are obvious, some are vague, and some are speculative I'll admit, but I see it in all of them.
we don't know anything about Hashi and Mito's relationship. we also don't know anything about Hiruzen and Biwako's relationship.
because of this the comparison of those relationships to narusaku is invalid on a reasonable standpoint.
What you could however argue is that The only way to be hokage is to be related to one or to be trained by one. Aristocracy much Konoha???
Also because of your post I clicked around wikipedia and learned that Sasuke was named after Hiruzen's father, Sasuke Sarutobi. quite surprising if I do say so myself.

Most Japanese words don't have a plural form. I dunno about hero and heroine though.
it depends... you can use without problems 達 (a pluralizing suffix for people and animals)...

Hey what do the japanese words in your sig mean?
hero, great man and heroine, brave woman
Also, I give you praise for all those findings that you did. Can you clarify about April 3 being the day that Naruto fell in love with Sakura? You said that it was mentioned in shonen jump or a Road to Ninja event?
Additionally, does the Samurai cover literally say "hero, great man and heroine, brave woman" or did you put it like that because the japanese symbols mean the same for each? In other words, hero = great man and heroine = brave woman in japanese writing.

Gotta look at the original text on that page to find out.
Anyhow, I believe what Canadian_DJ said is true, and it's about hero and heroine (singular).

Well if that means great man, where have we heard that before? Oh wait I remember. It was in chapter 540 when that guy said to Sakura the one you love must be a great man. But if Sasuke is not a great man then I wonder who is? hmm tough one...

I already mentioned that Hashirama/Mito and Hiruzen/Biwako was more of speculation than fact. I'm just saying that if NS happens then storywise it makes sense given how Kishi loves doing the generation parallel.
You didn't know Sasuke was named after Hiruzen's dad? It was mentioned in the Kushina flashback when she met baby Sasuke.

You always manage to find a way to creep me out slightly dont you? Or majorly in the Hinata incident.
Here`s one pairing we can rule out: LeeSaku. Lee is one year older than her. Which means that by the time she is 17 he will be 18, which means dating a minor is a moraly gray area. And sexy time is out of the question. Sorry Lee.

one would assume that such strict thought policing wouldn't happen in the ninja world
EDIT: What happened to the pic of Itachi I posted? It's not working for me anymore, it was just fine a second ago....

No Rock Lee
Seriously though, Lee isn't even on Sakura's radar right now and I think that because Neji died, that opened a path for Lee to snag Tenten
