Maybe Hinata's fall was meant for another meaning. Not necessarily one of logic because Hinata seemed absolutely determined in the Pain Arc to have Naruto live, even if she got KOed by Pain in the process. That's what's most shocking about Hinata giving up on Naruto's life that easily. Maybe his slowing heart got to her more, but either way it definitely proved Sakura's more determined than her (we already knew that though lol)

 

Personally, I feel like Hinata's prayer Neji was supposed to ramp up the suspense and prove that Naruto's really dying. I've had that impression ever since I first read it, it wasn't meant to prove Hinata's weak or something. At least I don't think that was Kishi's intention. I also think Kishi might've been trying to prove Sakura's the one that's truly close to him, but that's more of my shipper side.

Agree with the point you're trying to make. Maybe her fall symbolised that in the end how much ever she ran, she could never get close to Naruto upto a level Sakura is. It was nothing like she's weak or something but she 'just' stumbled and could see the cloud going farther and realised that how much ever she tried she couldn't reach Naruto now and hence gave up ending or reducing the chances of NH to almost 1%(1% incase of asspulls) and paved the way for NS development. But at the end of the day what matters(from shippers point of view) is that she could not reach Naruto but Sakura did.

@KnS: For the record, he didn't have any involvement with movie 1. RtN is the first and maybe the only one. That's why fans in here and there as well as the studio themselves hyped up extraordinary. Not to mention, rumor has it that he didn't like the train sequence with kunai because it didn't fit to Naruto's universe. I believe one volume/magazine have him saying that movie 3 at the time was his favorite because it stays true to his work. So yeah, that's about it.

Its definatly a NS hint. Especially if you remember that Kushina said to fall in love with a girl like her... I don't know about you but I don't know any other girl like Kushina at all besides Sakura.

It's quite obvious he didn't mean to just continue healing him. It's like how a mother or father tells their son/daughter's bf or gf to take care of their son/daughter. He obviously knows that he isn't going to be in the world much longer(since he is already dead) so he's basically leaving Naruto(or his life) is Sakura's care hence later chapters she is seen fighting to make Naruto stay alive.

I don't know if you have read my firts answer to your question back then, but in case you haven't, I repost it.

Minato said 息子をお手柔からに願います... which means "I leave my son in your hands" or "Please take care of my son" or "I leave my son to you". 

 

I think what redragon is trying to say is that it means he's asking Sakura to heal Naruto, but since it's a sentence parents usually say to their children's fiance, it could be interpreted in the sense that Minato is using this sentence in a double meaning (the healing meaning and the fiance meaning), since Naruto said Sakura was his girlfriend, plus Minato seemed pleased by his son's choice of girlfriend when he was smilling while watching the scene between Naruto and Sakura as she was reminded him of his own wife; so it's possible for him to use this sentence in a romantic way.

 

But again, it's all about interpretation, it's a personal opinion, we will surely never get a confirmation. I personnaly think it was a double meaning, but it will never be confirmed. 

 

 

Now about chapter 666, Minato didn't say the same sentence, he said: 息子を頼むよオビト！which means I entrust you my son. While, back in chapter 631, the sentence was different, it could have been interpreted in another way, since it's a sentence a parent would use in japanese towards his son's/daughter's girlfriend/boyfriend.

Do you mean that its a sentence that is worded to traditionally refer to their kid's girl/boyfriend or that its a sentence that can refer to anyone in general but is mostly used when talking to their son/daughter in law?

I would say the first option since I didn't really understand your second option. But one thing for sure, it's that your first option is correct, as I said, parents may say that to their child's fiance. 

 

And about your question, well you will get my answer by reading my own quote I made in my previous post. It's all about interpretation, you can think what you want, but Kishi will surely never confirmed if it was a NS tease or not. I, personnaly think it was, but I will never know if I was right or wrong to think that.

I don't think so. Because if he wanted to kill Naruto by back stabbing him, he had numerous chances to do so, but he never used them. I think he'll fight Naruto fair and square. Sure he has betrayed everyone but I don't think he'd act like a coward or do anything that will make Itachi look down on him at this stage.

They can't really betray them since they were never really on their side to begin with.
