well " the last " is more canon because make changes in the relationships, if the manga is open ending about romances.

It doesn't matter, it was advertised as Kishimoto's movie, so it was canon. Even if the story is set in another timeline he wrote it.

Naruto and Sakura were in a different universe, yes, but their characters stayed the same. The development that happened between them was their characters, them themselves -- and it was written by Kishimoto just as the manga is. Technically, it is canon.  The Last he co-authored it (if I heard right, I may be wrong on this), but regardless, it being the last movie it surely will be canon as well.

I don't care, I just... I just really don't know what's going to happen.

I'm not gonna lie, I was worried because of this film. In the manga, despite what others think and even posted, I can't imagine either NH or SS happen at all. NS could very easily happen in these last two chapters, since 1) Sasuke DOES NOT LOVE SAKURA AND HE SEND HER INTO A GENJUSTU, and 2) it has never been shown that Naruto has fallen out of love with Sakura and has fallen in love with Hinata. It is so easy to just have Sakura to move on, and for Naruto to confess and what not...

 

But then this CD cover came out, and I panicked. Then more information came out, and I panicked some more. It was through all that panic and careful thinking that I realize that a lot of these things about this movie... is weird. A lot of the rumors turn out to be false, or nothing at all. The more details we get on the plot, the less invested I start getting. The commenters on this forum panic too easily.

 

There wasn't much doubt I had NS will be canon in the end before that CD cover came about, and now I'm not to sure. With the added bonus of false rumors, suppose tweets from one of the assistants, and how depressing this forum is, it certainly doesn't help. But through it all I came to realization that I just don't care now.

 

So if you wonder if I think it is good or bad for us, it could be either. It doesn't really matter at this point in the story and, frankly, you shouldn't care either. There is so much stress with following all this that you realize that none of this matters. Naruto doesn't matter in grand scheme of things, it just something for entertainment and/or escapism. It should never be taken seriously or to the heart, and in the end the story could go to any direction Kishi wants. All I could do is try to predict/speculate what that end is, and I still think NS is most likely to happen (I still find it hard for it NOT to happen, but I'm not Kishi).

Technically you are correct but it does give away the mangaka's intentions. Kishi wrote the story and out of all the bonds, he chose to focus heavily on the bond between Naruto and Sakura. Kishi had no problem in trolling the NH bond,  he also showed that SS is shallow and brutally compared it to a dying flower. All the while, the Naruto and Sakura bond was depicted as a beautiful and meaningful.

 

What's more interesting is that the way RtN progressed was very similar to the manga. Sakura thinks Naruto can't understand her , in the beginning , but ends up realizing her mistake and their bond grows progressively stronger.

 

Also, the date tease at the very end is something that cannot be ignored.

RTN era consisted of Hinata's and Sasuke's over exaggerated advertisement until Menma's sketches came out (so until the very end). We got 0 shots of NS moments that were in the film.

We did, but it was towards the end. Naruto and Sakura on the swings together, Naruto and Sakura at the crossroads with the Hokage robes in her arms, etc. a lot of their scene were pivotal ones in the film; they weren't released until the week before the film was out.

Tsukiyomi!Sasuke and Tsukiyomi!Hinata was advertised so prominently because their personality changes were the most extreme out of all of them. I mean, who cares if Sai can't draw in this world? Neji also had quite a bit of a change, but he literally had about ten seconds in the movie.

i agree with u RTN is canon, but for me "the last" will be more relevant

I've only heard of this movie as a continuation to the original story and start of the new era project. We've only jumped the gun and proclaimed it as canon and starting from where the manga will end. Nobody really knows, it's all just speculation. Kishi could finish his original work and then this movie and project just fills in some of the blanks. That's how it will pertain to the canon.

Hell, I think they rarely mentioned the fact that Sakura was going to be the secondary protagonist in RtN.

Sakura was mentioned in the official synopsis and the promotional posters for RtN. =|

That's similar to what I was thinking. In my opinion, this film is starting feel like extra arcs that Kishi wanted to put in the manga, but didn't have the time. So in order to still have these stories in the canon universe, he and the studio probably came up with this New era project to include major plot points that weren't expanded in the manga in the canon universe. This is including adding more of a backstory to the Hayuga clan, finally including Hinabi in an actual story, and to make the Hyugas actually relevant for once in the whole damn series. Also, seeing how Hinata may not get proper ending in the manga since it is about to end in two chapters she may not get in the manga, it may also give a proper closure to Hinata's character.

 

Does that mean she will get with Naruto, or find an other source of closure? The CD cover is hinting something romantic, but then again, it is just a CD cover...

I mean comparatively with the other AU characters and Naruto's family. Besides, how many people actually read the synopsis pass the basic premise of the movie.

Ah! This way...well...they were nothing but fireworks in there ^_^ And so was MinaKushi. Two heavy hints I suppose. Coincidence? I say not!

With two personalities like Naruto and Sakura in a relationship, great family time and fun relationship are a given! Their personalities just go along with each other and they are at their best when with each other. Thanj you for the response @LadyGT
