Well I think part of what you say is true, but I think it should be obvious to them that their BS justifications and reasons for what happened is not winning anyone back. I also don't think the backlash againist them is going to make them change the direction of the series. If anything it's only going to get worse.

I agree with you . But the whole Naruto stuff are a bunch of brainless idiots,morons who have no clue WTF are they doing  and just doesn't get the message that they can't make this kitten right  .

Really !? I would have agreed with you if they weren't trying to clear this messed up kitten with all the interviews and all the other kitten . Its obvious that they lost allot of fans and know how pissed the fandom is as a whole and what they do now trying to "twist" the errors they've made and "cater" to the fanbase in some way . the first uchiha to require glasses is something that even i would like to explain to the fans, so i really don't see the damage control in that. also, they lost a lot of fans and are still doing the same things that lost those fans. they're going to continue putting out stuff that pisses people off, because they simply don't care.

Whatever the reason for Sarada's glasses is, I doubt it will have anything to do with Karin. Given Sarada's outfit, it seems that Kishi and SP are aware of how much people compare her to Karin and are trying to fix their mistake. Any more comparrisons to Karin would be a bad idea.

Seriously, they can do whatever they want. Re people that actually cared about this series have already left the fandom. Nothing that they do or say is going to cover the kitten messages they sent and the way they destroyed this series. It doesn't matter that they put her in Sakura's shirt, the girl looks like Karin. They can't change that.

I felt the same way. How Bolt kept his. After all, we're the guys who have to send requests more or less.

Bc no amount of explanation will justify their kitten bc what they tried to do with those designs is mis-kittening-lead us with the parings kitten in 700 and set up for the Last Retconkitten. The whole fanbase except SS screams that Salad gets the Karin Vibe for a reason the "glasses" kitten  what do you think was that for and what they're  gonna try to pull out now !?.   

 

The thing is that they are trying to justify this kitten  but doing it in the same way as this ending bc they are kittening stupid  but they are also trying to cater to the fans by releasing merchandise and releasing  novels/one shots about  all the characters and things that were put to the side bc they think this will satisfy the fans and lower their anger and come back.  I partly agree with you in here bc they care only about money and bc as you say they are freaking stupid and don't get it that they are doing this the wrong way.

It's like movies before, we just went with the flow. Now, we get quality, so now we are serious. Naruto, no. Basically, if you go to the next work, that decent manga will be your greatest series ever.

reincarnation was bs too, yet kishi felt the need to explain it. i'm sure he didn't care about erasing one of his core themes to have his characters become stronger. like i said before, it's not a big deal that sarada doesn't look like sakura. she has some of her characteristics and that's good enough to them.

exactly. this is their justification, not because of the complaining fans but for themselves and the neutrals. ss being the most popular hetero ship in the series and the novel has next to nothing of ss. i don't call that catering to the fans, i call that deceiving the fans, and they fall for it. why stop something that fans continue to fall for?
