Still I can't help but wonder....why is it that Sakura still isn't aware of her feelings for Naruto? When Yamato made that statement, she clearly knew where he was going with it and appeared to be making a realization yet....well I don't really think people want me to repeat the Kage Summit arc and fodder nin

 

Also its been several years and I still don't get the context of this?

I get that its a very minor NS tease...but if she isn't aware of her feelings for Naruto why was this significant to show?

Not many girls or even guys understand their own feelings because it's clouded by the current feelings, which is normal/best friends. It took me a while to understand my own feelings, so it happens. If the person knows his/her feelings, the flirt/hint may start happening, depending on the character of course. Can't really expect that person to know asap. Yamato had the perfect chance to change the fate of love, but Naruto interrupted. So now, she got to figure it out on her own, which arguably the best option from many fans.

We don't know. There's many ways to go around it and I got to say, I am much interested to see how it all comes to the canon. It's a good thing but could be a bad thing. Good thing to be different from usual easy path to love like other series out there then and now; however, it could be a bad thing if it's handled bad. Not to bring back a dead horse, but LoK pretty much tried to do something new in love but ultimately got fans furious.

It is one thing to be most popular in a particular series, it's another thing entirely to have over 21 millions results on google search compared to our measly 1 million. Seriously, what the heck?

Don't know where you got that statistic, but even though the zutara fandom outweighs the kataang, it's not by a lot as you're making it out to be. They are mostly vehemently and upfront about their pair since they clearly have nothing to go off on romance. While most kataangers (myself included) are chill about their pair since we got out canonization, and boasting about it will be unnecessary and rubbing salt on the wounds of zutarians.

Lol I love how NH fan always TRY to find away to make NH seem possible. Hinata is NOTHING like Naruto's mother! she's not short tempered, or even social for that matter. people say that if she isn't like His mother then she is like his father.... Wrong again.... Minato is more like Naruto, He's lively, He's enthusiastic, He does things without thinking on occasion, and he likes to and knows how to make an entrance.... Hinata is none of these. if there is any girl like his fathr I'd Have to say it'd be Ino (for some odd reason) because she too is Lively, and enthusiastic. Thats not to say Sakura isn't any of these, its just that she seems to be more in control of her self (Unless she's angry).

 

Like I said, for every NH moment a NH fan can throw at me I always have a counter arguement.

Nut I have to agree with you Sushi, they are much more grown up now. So I thinks its more of that matter that he WANTS to than HAS to. If I had a girlfriend Thats what I'd do.

Can't quite say. It is a man's duty. It's not to say it's gold digging, though there will be some moments that you get a clue, but it's just a guy job. But then again, who knows.

NH is a non factor. Period. It isn't going to happen. SS however has a very slim chance if asspulled to happen, otherwise NS is pretty much secured

The only conceivable threats at this point are NH (chapter 615 and what happned during the Pain Invasion arc is still a bit of a problem considering Naruto was more worried about Hinata then the other villagers) and an open-ending (assuming that chapter 297, 504, and 631 was Kishi's way of confirming the relationship so he won't have to a draw a conclusion to the pairing wars)

That's not the point, popularly has little baring on what pairing will actually become canon. And I'm not sure what you're talking about, when I did a search on Bing.com I got:

 

NaruSaku - 753,000 results

 

Naruto/Sakura - 6,210,000 results

 

NaruHina - 495,000 results

 

Naruto/Hinata - 1,690,000 results

 

SasuSaku - 681,000 results

 

Sasuke/Sakura - 2,900,000 results

 

It looks like people are really overestimating NH's popularity. I'm actually kind of surprised by these results myself.

Think of it this way. If Kishi just decided the pairings lets say at the start of shippuden, then non of us would be here right now really would we?

 

Kishi is dragging it out to the end to keep us all hooked. I know romance isn't the main purpose of the manga but he must be very aware that a large/massive proportion of his fanbase are interested more in pairings/development then the story.

 

We get little slices of the cake very now and again (615, 631, 662 etc) which is far better then just getting it over and done with

Bing was what I used, yes. Other search engines might give differing results, but I think the gap between pairings is overall not as great as people make it out to be, the NaruSaku fandom is not as small as people think and neither are NaruHina or SasuSaku as large as they seem. But again, popularity does not determine a pairing's chance at canon, only development does.

I remember that, I tested it and it turned out to be true. 

I still don't understand how the hell Google in english finds over 21 million NaruHina results though...

I am even more confuse by the fact that Bing! gives different results.
