But that's my question.  Why is "that one moment" necessary to destroy something that doesn't exist?  There is no NH without N, and we know that N is himself 100% hardcore NS.  

 

As for anime fillers and manga?  I was talking about the manga.  It is in the manga that it is clearly and consistently proven that there is no N in NH.  It's just H.  NH fans can cheer Hinata on as much and as loudly as they want, but the relationship will never go anywhere as long as Naruto loves Sakura.

 

And I wasn't really talking about NH fans.  I know why they choose to believe NH is possible.  But I don't understand why NS fans continue to tack a disclaimer onto everything they say/write about NS -- as if not conceding that NH could actually happen will somehow jinx NS or make Naruto (or Kishimoto) magically change his mind.  Really?

 

And these are general comments, not intended toward anyone in particular.

Well its because they diminish our moments, saying it means nothing or a NH moment is coming up that will take down 663 trust me I know as I have seen many saying that they will get one to destroy us. 

 

well many like me watch the Anime first before the Manga and we all know that Hinata was shown in the first episode that and it how she acted as well like letting Naruto cheat off in the chunin test and much more. There is more in PT 1 like the ointment and very little bit that to mean me nothing.

 

well you don't have to worry as even Kishi from what I know gets tired oh the NH fans I mean look at the interview on Sakura confession.

I have a challenge for some one.... make two chronological lists..... one with all the NS moments, hints, and teasers.... the other with all the NH ones. this list must start from the start of act I, to the current chapter in act II, be shure to use BOTH anime and manga (because a true fan of any pairing counts both). You may use movies but again, it must be in cronolgical order, so make sure you have them not only in order of release but also in a way that they fir in the time line. I'll start you off with ep 1.

 

NS- Sakura introduced her self in the anime, proving that she is an important character and that we will be seeing a lot of her.

 

NH- We get only a few seconds of Hinata on screen.

 

My reason of doing this is because I want to post it on my you tube account in a video.

I have to completely disagree. The anime is not written by Kishimoto, nor does follow what he has written to the letter. It is embellished by the anime studio, with many things added and/or exaggerated. Why would a true fan use it for evidence? Or need to use it?

We don't even rely on RtN and Kishimoto wrote it.

I agree. The only thing that matters, where evidence is concerned, is the manga. The anime sometimes takes it's own creative liberties, adding things in that are inconsistent with the plot, fanservicing pairings, and even exaggerating characterizations for laughs in ways that may be ooc for how the character would actually act in the manga. I would never consider the anime on par with the manga as a reliable source of evidence for pairings. Not even RtN even though Kishimoto was involved in it, because while it may give a good indication of the author's intentions, it still isn't canon.

Do you let the environment (people outside here and there) change your view at NS and your confidence? Example: One day I feel like NS will be canon, just have to wait. The next day spending out there, I feel like NH will take down NS in the upcoming chapters.

I remember the amount of fanservice to a certain character meanwhile sakura was treated as a joke or a horrible character by merrysunata That episode aired on sakuras birthday not pleased  at all.    Yeah and i agree its the manga that counts.

1st off... not what I was asking.

 

2nd, I say also include the anime because there are events that happened in act I that didn't get into the manga.

The very fact that the anime is an adaptation -- and one that is written and augmented by people other than Kishimoto -- means that it is, by definition, not canon source material.  

 

The only details that can be credibly relied upon when interpreting the meaning of a plot, characterizations, or relationships, is what is contained within the canon source material, and that's the manga.

You certainly have the right to use whatever details you want from whatever source you want in your arguments; I didn't meant to imply otherwise.  Do whatever you want.  But I'll be surprised if you get a lot of support from H&E regulars if you're going to include "proof" from anything other than the manga.

Well, the databooks are a little different.  They are written by Kishimoto, and are intended as support material for the manga.  I mean, that's why they're called data books, right?  That's what I figure, anyway.

 

It's a bit of a sticky wicket.  Although I've not encountered any information in the databooks that is wrong or that has proven to be false, I would still personally avoid using them as proof in arguments.  I use think of them as biographical or historical information, not exactly canon.

 

But that's just me.

To be honest, I really don't know!!!! XD I just got done watching the last shippuden episode and I started to think what the heck is gonna happen in the next chapter. Then all of a sudden an image just popped into my head clear as day of Naruto and Sakura on a page together both asking the same question to whoever they are talkin to. (Naruto/other Kurama)(Sakura/Obito)??

I'm like why the heck did I see something like that out of the blue all of a sudden and just wanted to make sure I wasn't going bat s**t crazy over here about predicting a slight possible NS moment. Cause if I was I would be laughing my butt off!!! XD

It's been a while since I've read the last databook.   I've seen other comments that they contradict the manga, but I don't remember any examples.  Got one you can share?

I wonder if Naruto will ever have a crossover chapter with another shonen I mean it is one of the most popular mangas around right now I'm surprised it hasn't already when others have (One Piece, Toriko, Dragonball, Rave, Fairy Tail, Inuyasha, Ranma, Lupin III, Detective Conan, hell I'm pretty sure Sailor Moon and several Yu Yu Hakusho characters make cameos in Hunter X Hunter)

I will say this. I will never savor on NS! I support them 100% always. But I'm in an office with a bunch of guys who breath NH. And it doesn't get to me unless they present me with good arguments. Usually its just the usual, 'Hinata is better than Sakura.' But once in awhile we have a decent debate (Yes, we have civil conversations :) ). And they can come up with some good points. So I might get a bit down. 

 

But then I just hop on this site and I get a pick me up right away. The counter arguments and the proof posted on h&e just give me that confidence boost I need. 

 

But I'm sure its the same with them! I mean I am pretty good at those debates. *pats self on shoulder*

That would be totally awesome. They work so well together, and it would be awesome if they were still in sync despite the dire situation.
