They can change some things, but not something as big as a pairing. And like I said, their past behavior had never indicated that they favored NH over NaruSaku. Also it is not within their rights to force Kishi to do anything. If Kishimoto was forced to act against what he wanted, that could potentially only come from his editors.

You seems to forget that NH is always about Hinata, go back, and look how much Hinata-wank there was in anime.

SP. It's pretty clear that they've been pushing for this for a long time now, Kishi just folded to them. They had an agenda to push, and the pushed it. They don't care about the series, just what they get out of it.

Again, not confirming it but you never know. I'm not completely blaming on SP, at least not like before. To me, Kishi does it on a flip of a coin rather than what's best for the story. If NH was written well, I would be ok and be like "Aww, I wanted NS. Boohoo." But it's just not there. None of it. I already exposed the story flaw and characters sudden backtracking. I think it became harder to believe him when we learned more about his editor, who Kishi bluntly said he followed a lot.

I'd say, we can't say that for certain. Kishi  comes of as a extremely naive and greedy person...hell, he even said that he always followed his editor words in a interview. Yahagi ( his first editor) even said to him that this was a bad idea.

 

I don't agree with the bolded though. SP showed their overwhelming favoritism over Hinata time and time again. As far as I know the only one who is biased towards NS in SP is Yuka Miyata (or something like that)

Eh... because it was based on story, but Hinata is their favorit BIG TIME, and NH is nothing but more time for Hinata to shiny, so here's to you. NS was just beatiful in terms of development and relationship, so they used it from time to time in openings/endings, but Hinata centring was their quirk. so we got what we got, robbed by SP in manga.

I'm not saying they weren't leaning to NS sometimes, but as the majority of them really likes Hinata too, and since NH is basically all about Hinata...

Ok understandable that in a way he shows his own personal life through Naruto. Kishi doesn't really have time for his family and this is his way of showing it. Ok let's go with that.

But it doesn't explain Naruto's behavior with his own son, when Naruto himself felt the pain of loneliness his entire life. Not to mention that look that he gave him. Plus Naruto is described as sh*tty dad even before he became Hokage. So he doesn't really have any excuse.

 

Exactly. Sure. maybe Kishi did want to parallel his struggles through Naruto. But in doing so, he went against Naruto's own history and childhood and everything he stands for. Naruto is so concerned with ending the cycle of hatred, apparently, that he will perpetuate the cycle of neglect towards his children.

What a lesson.

It's easy to think that way now, because of the latest movie, but that was never really the case in the past. I don't feel like getting all the NS scenes that SP created known to man, and I'm sure everyone knows them anyway.

I'd even argue that this is apparent in the Last, where you have things like Hinata being called a princess, but the actual NH scenes coming out forced and tasteless.

Agreed. Though I must admit I feel like Kishi misinterpreted fans when they like Hinata up to the point she must get Naruto. It's like me liking Kakashi, I don't know if I wanted him to be Hokage at all, nor do I even care. Not like I'm high fiving fans that he became one when we never thought of it.

But that's just a theory of course.

It doesn't really matter who's idea it was. The ending is kitten and i don't see how anyone can say that this is the best and most logical ending to a story that has been going on for 15 years.

I also don't see how this makes the NS fandom a "laughing stock". Because we believed in logic and evidence? Because our pairing had mutual development and NH and SS did not (until 699 and The Last)? Seems pretty reasonable to me.

Even if I were to believe the "red herring" excuse (which i don't) then that still doesn't change the fact that NS has more development than NH and SS.

In the end it all reflects badly on Kishi.

Yeah, because it's really like that. How many OOC moments was about NS in anime? Please number them.

But their favoritism over Hinata created alot, naked Hinata dancing in moonlight, bully scene, scene of Hinata fighting Pein (when in manga she was onwed in one hit), her struglin over Naruto, her medic skill's, whole episode that saying it's practicaly Hinata saved Konoha with Naruto. 

+ all those scenes was wrapped in nice visuals. Especially war scene.

NH is all about Hinata sitting on Naruto D, and becoming heroine, there is no Naruto's character in that pairing.

+ Hinata's VA is very popular idol in Janan, so:

- Big brested submisive female character.

- Very popular voice of it that gather alot of fans.

- Last thing that was needed - it's more screen time, and guess what? With such ending - she got it.

So now, you may change your point of view, maybe even a little?
