However, I didn't try to dminish the SS moment here (even though it was, Sasuke could have thanked both them, not only Sakura). I just interepreted in that way because in that page, first Obito asked him how he did reached there, then we see Sasuke explaining his new ability so I thought that, since how that page has set up, the vest was the indirect object, even though using with a おかげで. I'm sure that with "reached" means himself with his own ability, like so his ability would only works only with objects so that vest saved too in same way....

But the vest is no longer there, he could not have thanked the vest pointing towards it as the cause he reached there when they dont know what is it, the portal had closed already, makes no sense for him to left the 'vest' implicity because it's no longer there.
Basically makes more sense him saying thanks to you i made it.

The vest was something shown to the audience of how Sasuke managed to get in there, showing us that he simply swapped places with Sakura's vest.

I get the feeling nothing will happen in the next chapter until the last page which will be a cliffhanger. 

Maybe Obito will give us another observation about how Sakura wanted the D from Sasuke, given by the way she stared at him.

Why does it have to be the vest no matter what? With your explanation with how he was explaining how his ability works, it seems like it can go either way, the vest or Obito and Sakura's combined efforts. But in the end, you're saying that it has to be the vest. So I am confused.

Me and 咲耶姫 has also said that Sasuke talking about Sakura and Obito makes most sense. Would you mind if you could give us your opinion regarding our posts and translation? :)

Huh? Are your posts directed to me? You make it sound like I'm trying to start a fight when I'm only asking a question.

I admit that I do keep asking and drilling endlessly until I really understand or get convinced. But this is the debate thread, isn't this normal behavior?

Edit: In case I did sound hard (which is not my intention), I have put my non-existent social skills to use and edited my previous post to make it sound extra nice, cute, and friendly as possible. Believe me, I don't have social skills.

However I said that, by reading the raw, gave me the impression that even the sakura's vest was part of Sasuke's gratitude, and may be that take more merits, since that last panel makes some sense. I know the purpose of the last panel is also an excuse for the author to show us how it happened exactly but...

It's just only that i cannot translate it as "Thanks to (both) you, I reached it". It's a bit strage to me that kishimoto leaved this statement without any direct objects and doesn't give precisely who has this gratitude. I see takL's version now, he made it even more neutral, maybe it's right so... who knows...

I would translate it as, "Thankfully, I was able to reach here." I would leave it vague. Just like TakL and as you say.

Direct translation is as accurate as we can get ;)

I get what you mean. But your comment isn't really putting into consideration of the Japanese language and the usage of おかげで. The concept of ambiguity isn't actually there because when you use おかげで when talking to a person who contributed on something or supported you, then it surely is meant for that person or people. In my personal opinion, thanking anything else comes off as trying too hard. (It's like saying to a professor, "Thanks for the chalkboard, I was able to eat learn a lot", instead of thanking said professor and his lectures.) I'm just leaving it ambiguous because I want to make a direct translation instead of a translation that includes the contextual meaning. Anyways, I'm not going to tell anyone that they MUST believe in what I say. I'm just expressing my disagreement and the reasons behind it.
