Oh, and still editing Shamal's episode over two to three months of procrastination.

The Shimon family is not a good substitute for Byakuran, Yuni, and everything else that came before this arc. This is ridiculous that I'm supposed to believe that the Shimon family is formidable given what our heroes had to go through before. It makes me so sad because I was such a big fan of Reborn! but this has made me stop reading it as I used to. Is it at least pointing toward some conclusion?

No. This is the Arc Freeza from Dragonball Z was talking about. It's the 'five minute' arc that will never, ever end. And even if it does, the Shimon will remain around as support characters for the rest of the entire manga, devoting the rest of the pages all to the whiny emo kid!
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I don't find the arc itself as much, it's the premise to it that ticks me off, How did a family who only recieved their rings after the earthquake caused by Vongola returned from the future, be so much more powerful than the Vongola family that was powerful enough to desfeat the man who had full control over all but one Parallel Universe? I like the backstory etc but don't beleive them to be as powerful as they are made out to be.

Yes, that's what makes me angry too, and it's why I can't enjoy this arc. It's a complete wave-off to all that's happened. Also makes you wonder how someone as powerful and in-the-know as Byakuran did not know about these rings--or Yuni who kinda had to DIE for the rings we had. No one happened to know that hey, there are an extra set of rings about? Seriously? SERIOUSLY?!

The thing that makes me angry the most is what this arc could have been. Tsuna making the transition from who he is to being a mafia leader. The mafia world could have been explored more, except now we have a bunch of these characters who I honestly don't care for (the only one I could have liked was Enma) who will do nothing but pad out the series with their stupid upgrades and one-on-one fights. As if we haven't seen this before. I get so mad when manga does this. Ya know what, it's okay... I'll just wait until this is finally over, and hope the next arc, whenever it may mercifully come, is better.

Well, this arc might take an while, it depends on the ratings, if they are low the author will speed up things or make an atempt to changes things by adding an crazy twist (many mangas faced disaster by doing this), and remember that japanese people have an different taste for mangas then us, they could be as well liking this. I also didn't liked this arc, the only character I'm liking is Suzuki, apart from her, the other characters lack soul, principally Enma, who only knows to guilt trip himself non stop, just great. And about the Mafia world, I think it became nothing but an plot twist to creat more fights, I doubt the autor will actually explore the mafia world more then she did.

Well, while I gotta adimit this partially truth mr troll (I suppose most of the other guys fell the same) what made me really like her was her determination and strong fighting spirit, she fights for honor and to prove her might, and these are traits that I admire in her character.

You mean like every single shonen character ever made?

She's Okay but she's no Lal Mirch, Now that was one Red Hot Chilli Pepper, which coincidently is what the name means in Hindi. Also I'm talking about post time-stop Mirch not the baby Mirch.
*Reads my last post* Bloody hell I made no sense in that post, I must have been half asleep, or too lazy to proof read, most likely the latter.

This arc is moving surprisingly quite quickly, thought it would be a slow moving arc, but we've already had four battles take place, with only the first one was more than a couple weeks long.

What are you on about Yamamoto has had the same upgrades as everyone else, Tsuna does not need an upgrade he needs to stop being a whiney old baby and accept his fate, he's the strongest member by far but his lack of resolve makes him weak. Though I do agree Chrone does need a upgrade, poor girl has not had it easy. What would Kyoko do with an upgrade? She's not even part of the mafia.

Oh, and by 'update', I meant background/personality wise for Kyoko. Try and be more perceptive kthx. It's obvious I wasn't talking about 'fighting' for Kyoko, since so many people complain about how she's not that interesting, how's about we expand her background or, hell, let her talk for a period of more than five sentences per arc?
