Shippu-chan it wasn't your fault to begin with I won't say a word about him because it will lead to more discussion among ourselves and it will eventually lead to bashing and we don't want that let's stick to the topic. If it's called the waterfall of truth evil Naruto will eventually tell Naruto all the things he has kept inside of himself in secrecy since he was little, the way the villagers treated him, the way Sakura treated him, all the pain he has hide away from being hated by the village. He might taunt him with being a fool for not accepting Sakura's confession thinking that he's wasting his time trying to bring someone so she gets together with him just for the sake to make her happy things like that.

Point is evil Naruto will reveal to us everything that Naruto has kept in secret all the burdens he has bear on his own.

Sorry but try to base your opinion on facts not speculation and imagination...we don't want to take on the characteristics of other fan bases,that create thier own story that has nothing to do with the manga.lets be better than them.

The waterfall of truth is obviously some kind of test that Naruto has to overcome. Like you said Shippu-chan all the hate, guilt and jealousy he has experienced in his entire life he will have to accept it and find a way to overcome it by becoming into a better stronger person. It sounds a bit of cliche though.

Well... Just hearing "Waterfall of Truth" seems a bit corny even for Kishimoto. YamiNaruto should be a very interesting character... For the time-being. ^^

I guess but I believe someone have already mentioned it before I think it was Uzumakikage who said that Naruto facing his dark self feels cliche like when Ichigo from Bleach met his hollow self.

I hear that it's common in Shonen Manga for the Main character(s) to face themselves. I honestly think Naruto needs this, hurt him (emotionally) or not.

but wait if it common in Shonen Manga when will Luffy face himself in One piece or He don't need too. Other then that i think is wonderful idea for Naruto to face himself to grow stronger and get all the stuff that he held deep inside him come out in the open.

One of the things I really appreciate about this forum is that people are nice and discuss things civilly. None of that childish crap you see on certain other websites (*cough* narutofan *cough*). Cool your jets, buddy. If you isagree with her, that's cool, but there's no need for that kind of tone here.

But since we're not Kishi all we can really do is speculate. One way we can go about speculating is by analyzing from already established works. Which is where her statements and other people's statements came from. And to be honest Kami in the Dragon Ball series had his evil counter part in Piccolo Daimao. The evil counterpart thing is a theme that runs through shonen manga as well as other forms as well.

I dunno man. Godzilla's in there. Assuming we're talking the real Godzilla - the one that had a complete ****ing nuclear meltdown as he finally took down Destroyah, fought three or four robot clones of himself at different times, took out a psychic weed monster and Destroyed All Monsters - I'd say it's pretty safe to go out on a limb and say Naruto'd get his ass kicked.

But hey, he should take no shame in that; he'd lose to the King of the Monsters.

I don't know where you guys are getting this Hinata and Sakura stuff there is nothing in the manga that mentions that at all! So where is this coming from?

1)As others have said it's going to be about him facing his repressed feelings.
2)His feelings about Sakura has been a key point in his development from the beginning of part 1
3)His repression of feelings for Sakura just played a key role for both Naruto and Sakura in the last arc
4)When this theme is used repressed desires have to be faced too, especially when it plays as key a role as it has in Naruto.

It's not a factor in One Piece because it's not a manga that focuses on character development to drive the story, but plotlines.
