Just Pre-order my copy of the CE (Woot).

So I think we should have a tournament... when this game comes out.

PS3 owners vs PS3 owners, etc. Let's set it all up in a few more weeks. I still have to narrow down Zero/Dante 's moveset and find a third character to slot in.

So yeah, a tournament should be reasonable. We just need someone from the PS3 users to host it and post the videos.

lol....in exactly the same boat, But oh well already waited a decade for the sequel I guess I can wait a few more weeks or months....i'll just get it on rental in the mean time. Maybe it's old age but whn I played it the other week at one of the fight club event Capcom have been having and I didn't get the same buzz as I got when I played MvC2, also the speed isn't what I was expecting, didn't feel all that faster that SFIV which feels strange. But it's a great game in it's own right, Zero and Dante were probably my favourite two charactors, though Zero's takes too much damage for my liking.

Why is Shuma Gorath a DLC character. Aren't you supposed to use characters people actually want to play as for DLC? Seriously. What's the incentive to give them your money otherwise?

Jill's a good pick I could see people shelling out money for though.

That's the reason. MONEY!... and business, just like PC gaming since consoles are currently doing it because of online.

And anyways, I played it at school and how can I describe it?

INCREDIBLE!!! I won over 10 matches!

I can say for the following:

* Don't expect that the God-hack team (Mag/Storm/Sent) will dominate in this game. Period.
* You guys are going to hate Sentinel again, though.
* Phoenix = hack! Especially when she becomes Dark Phoenix...
* Darkstalkers characters = Think Vampire Savior/Darkstalkers 3 incarnations (though with some adjustments)
* I will say this: Mix Chun-Li with X-Factor = SCARY!!!! I definitely mean it!
* Some characters don't have Level 3 Hypers (Hsien-Ko and Taskmaster for example)
* If you had played Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, don't expect to be the same controls... unlike TvC, the Exchange button (now callled Special button) is the Launcher for air combos, not with the heavy button. Also whomever had played MVC2, I recommend to start playing TVC first before going heavy with MVC3 because if you get lost in the controls, you're done for, badly.

According to this, that was a compromise as Capcom really wanted Shuma-Gorath but Marvel didn't.
And Shuma-Gorath *is* popular with fans of the series. He has one of the most unique movesets and is pretty expressive for an eyeball with tentacles.

I'm picking up my copy at midnight tonight. Can't wait!

My friends at school; 2 of them have their own copies and we played it!

Also I forgot to add these tibbits:

* Play a bunch of matches and the 4 secret characters will be unlocked.
* You can change the music styles of the game (you can switch to either the Beta build theme or "Take U 4 A Ride" remix for the character select screen.)

If anyone want some info on some of the characters and their gameplay, ask right away! I will be playing this again tomorrow.

Actually I see more fans waiting for Shuma Gorath than Jill, Jill will probably a quicker version of Chris, and from what i've played of him, he didn't fit into the roster as well as the other characters too slow and chunky, Gorath looks like a quirky charactor, personally have no idea who he is, but a quick google search revealed a green one eyed creature, he fits into the typical over the top roster you expect in a Vs game so I expect him to be quite popular, afterall he was apparently ruler of earth thousands of years ago.
