I just love Karin in this chapter. What's even better the akatsuki is back, but what is Sasuke's reaction will be when he sees Itachi as a zombie. This is getting better by the chapter in my opinion.

another thing i just realized that's a big deal is......if u were to add up all the member now: madara, zetzu, sasuke, kisame, kabuto, itachi, kakuzo, pein, deidera, sasori.......
and what's the magical number? TEN!!!!! which means they're back to the original strength of the original 10 akatsuki. i really think madara needs the 10 akatsuki due the secret behind the rings. there's something about it that we don't know.

I thought the rings help them use the statue and the sealing jutsu. And maybe how they communicate with each other.

Ok, you know what I find interesting about this move by Kabuto. From what I recall from when Orochimaru did the resurrection technique on the 1st and the 2nd, that they retained all the skills they had when they were alive but besides that. They were basically puppets that Orochimaru used to fight the 3rd with.

From what I recall from when Orochimaru did the resurrection technique on the 1st and the 2nd, that they retained all the skills they had when they were alive but besides that. They were basically puppets that Orochimaru used to fight the 3rd with.

true, but if i remember correctly... 1) the resurrected still remembered their memories. they knew what they were doing and could talk. just couldn't control movement. and 2) kabut has stated that he's stronger than both the 2nd and orochimaru.

I don't see how your second point helps your agrument at all, but I mean he would have to be stronger than Orochimaru, since he resurrected a lot more people at various high levels of chakra and he still has to maintain control over them.

And saying that they retain their memories and can talk, doesn't mean a damn thing if they don't have the free will to act in whatever manner they pleased.

So we get kinda of a diet Akatsuki or a Akatsuki lite.

That's another thing that's been interesting to me. Everyone has been wondering how Naruto and Killer Bee is going to meet. I mean I thought they were doing a treaty between all the countries anyway. So thing it would be fairly easy for the two of them to meet.

Nothing more than the two 'Kage's' going, "Hey, I need you to go meet this guy!"

still though, think about how sasuke is going to react to the zombie itachi lol. That is what I want to see the most out of that personally, because if they do retain their personalities and such like I believe they do how much is it going to hurt him that his little brother is basically going against what he wanted him to do. Personally I think Itachi shoulda killed sasuke when he had the chance but meh lol

I think when they (Killer Bee/Naruto) meet it'll be random. I can definitely see a lot of comedy coming out of them. I wonder... What if Kisame pops-out when Bee and Naruto are together... Epic fight!

If it was just Bee against Kisame, epic fight. Both Naruto and Bee against Kisame, that's the most epic one-sided fight ever. Can you say, "Shark-skin shoes" someone?

There were reasons why they took down each of the Tailed beast one at a time. Not to mention Akatsuki members traveled in pairs.

Prediction (though likely inaccurate): After Naruto gets done training with Killer Bee and a day before the battle with Sasuke, we'll get a rest chapter in Konoha with Naruto spending time with each of the Rookie 9 (probably Sakura being last). A means of saying goodbye no doubt. That said, I can't say for sure whether or not Kishi intends to permanently kill off Naruto. He might be persuaded to change his mind at the last second or someone might revive him.

Speaking of killing Naruto, I have no doubt that Naruto has NO INTENTION of killing Sasuke based on the Pein arc (remember, he refused to kill Pein because he knew this would continue the cycle of hatred). That said, Naruto likely believes that his death will not only save Sasuke, but bring about peace in the ninja world. Remember, he said he was prepared for what would occur with a look of sadness on his face. Remember that he didn't tell the Rookie 9 how intended to deal with Sasuke and remember that Sakura was shown suspecting that there was more to this issue than what Naruto had said several chapters ago. Also remember that the toad sage predicted that the child of prophecy would make A (as in a single) choice that would either save or destroy the ninja world.

Put all of this information together and the truth should be rather clear.

That does make sense but I highly doubt Kishi will really have Naruto die, we can't forget that this is a shonen and most shonen have happy endings. So I doubt Naruto will stay dead and a miracle might happen and he could be revive like Gaara.

There's also the possibility of Juubi. From the standpoint of the Author there wouldn't be any point to state what the Juubi was without intention of use, but I could see how Naruto thinks that his death could save the world by dying with the Kyuubi still inside of him, then there would be no access to the Juubi, the problem is well you redeemed Sasuke that's all fine and dandy (NOT), what happens to Madara? Kabuto?

This might sound corny, but what if the way Naruto dies is enough to change even Madara and Kabuto's minds? Make them realize their error of their ways and help push the world towards the future?

Yes, the 100 year old Uchiha who has been waging a centuries old blood fued to take over the world to bring his own form of eternal piece will suddenly see the error of his ways by watching one of his enemies die. Kabuto still has plans for killing Sasuke.

I'm sorry if I sound bashy, I was aiming for sarcasm but it seems to me it's going to be Madara arriving at the end of the battle and turns to Kabuto in front of Sasuke.

Madara: I have what I need.

Kabuto: Then we finish our pact.

Injured/Sabotaged Sasuke: Madara!

Madara: I have no further use for you. *disappears*

Kabuto smiles down at Sasuke: Goodbye.

I can see that leading into the darkest hour, but the plot shows to me that this might lead to more than just one battle between Naruto and Sasuke. There is also the possibility that Naruto actually wins and is attacked in the end.

Kishi stated that Naruto vs Sasuke will be the last fight of the manga, so it's very well possible that Sasuke or someone else would take both Madara and Kabuto out (Kabuto wants revenge on Sasuke and Sasuke might want to usurp Madara's plans to take control of the juubi and control the world).

And lol, yeah, someone changing in spite of having spent 100 years waging war does sound silly, but this is Naruto we're talking about. He changed Pein's mind with a couple of words based around nothing more than faith. Plus, Madara ultimately has the same goal as Naruto (to bring peace to the ninja world). It's possible.

As for Kabuto though, yeah . . . that's a different story.

I read a fic where Naruto and Sasuke both die... But! Sakura comes and does what Chiyo did and brings Naruto back to life but she dies I hope that's not the outcome .

Yamoto could be out searching for Danzou's body since the binding seal on his tongue was removed making him curious or rendezvouing back up with Anko.
