So is this the first time Naruto has ever saved her in the manga?
First time she was conscious when he did. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter.

This chapter didn't verify anything except for what we all know.
A) Sasuke is psychotic and doesn't care about anyone.
B) THE COUPLES ARE MESSED UP. They are complicated. And it makes me want to rip out my hair...
C) Sakura's character still doesn't have that heroic edge to her.
D) Naruto is a bad ass.
E) Kakashi feels so very guilty about everything.
Oh Sakura, please stop being weak. I love you, and know you're smart and strong, so why can't you at least battle someone?

I cannot remember exactly but what was it about sasukes past self that she loved so much, i remember he was cool, good looking, popular, ability etc. but i cant remember her reasons for liking him beyond that thats something i gotta look back into. If that were the case it would seem thats lust not love. Then she starts to learn of his pain and hardships and wants to help with those as well got that, it is just hard finding justification for her not fooling herself on what love is. I'm not saying she doesnt care for sasuke at all because you can still do what she did for a friend, It just almost seems like she just stuck sasuke on a pedestal in part 1 so im having trouble finding what there really is to love. The closest i came was the bench scene when naruto was pretending to be sasuke so is it possible thats what she loves, bc she believes only she coulda brought that side out?

to answer your question sakura after FOD scene started seeing sasuke flaws and sees how much hes suffering while he gets darker she gets more concern to point that makes her want to make him happy soo much it wasnt about looks after FOD it was about life and happiness and his well being she was blinded by concern and by her love and her wants to trully understand what HE wanted but she tried her best to make him happy, its not lust, she truly did love him back then its bittersweet but its true

kk i just really dont know what to think on it to be honest, i feel bad for sakura and bad for naruto. I honestly wish she never fell in love with sasuke in the first place but it is not my story. The bad thing is is at this point any relationship i see between naru/saku is him just being second best because he was there for her and sasuke wasn't and it makes me sad. I mean i dunno if thats just not giving her enough credit bc i want to believe in her but from the way her emotions seem if she were to go to naru now he would be her second best bc she would obviously prefer sasuke as he was. I am not saying it is her fault for feeling that way, because it isnt and she isnt some heartless woman to take advantage of him like that. But it seems like yes she could love naruto, but its just not enough at this point. I dunno, all i can say is that there has to be real closure with sasuke, before N/S has a chance. That does not mean s/s has a chance or n/h bc the guilt part would apply vise versa to n/h and it is obvious s/s isn't likely to be soon. I just hope future chapters can pick up these pieces, because as i said before i really only see two endings. One where N/S are together and one where there is no pairings at all

The only reason why she kept loving Sasuke is because of the bench seen afterwards she kept trying to cheer up the real Sasuke to re-bring out the bench seen Sasuke which in reality never was him to begin with, so it was still all false love.
I think the only way to strengthen Sakura and get all the jitters/doubts out of her is to not only learn the truth of it actually being Naruto at the bench seen but also another Training with Tsunade involving sage training and a fight to the death scenario. Kakashi can tell Tsunade how Sakura has been acting which would anger Tsunade and force Sakura to train again with this time Tsunade will force Sakura to come at her with the intent to kill and Tsunade will say she won't hold back either. While that's taking place Naruto can start his training too getting the scroll key mystery solved, more sage training, and have a inspirational talk with the great toad sage just like Jiraiya did.

your not getting my point in ,my first post i said SHE LOVED SASUKE PAST SELF she hates this new sasuke but he is still the boy in the past she fell in love with but now he is not
sakura is moving on and this feels like a closer almost so calm down naruto she does love more then sasuke NOW but SHE DOES LOVE SASUEK his past self she is rememebing only the past look at naruto and sakura flashbacks together
theirs a clue that both o them were still stuck in the past now after he tryed to kill her once again their facing reality

i got the point lol, it was more of does she love naruto more than she loves the sasuke of the past that was my determining factor of what i was wondering lol. in my opinion not quite but shes getting there

I knew this was what was going to happen.
Naruto is finally being that hero....finally being that hero who comes out of nowhere to save everyone and everything he ever cared about.
This time...he knows what he must do.
I swear, when Naruto caught Sakura and saved her I jumped up and cried "YEAH!!!!" as soon as I read that.
Go Naruto, rock her world.

oh

well it seems now she starting to see that she must move on since she can never have sasuke back but i see she does trully love naruto she wants him happy worried about his well being and wants to understand him and like i said before to know that sakura loves someone romantically she does things to make them happy worrys about their well beings constetly and wants to understand them
thats how her love for sasuke became genius so is her love naruto its an pattern i picked it up by reading both naruto part 1 and 2 at the same time(which was an pain in the ass but it was worth it )

"well it seems now she starting to see that she must move on since she can never have sasuke back" thats just the part that bugs me is that line right there, that implies that he is secondary to sasuke, I know she wants him happy, but if that truely is the line of thought she has it has to change before those two could actually have a relationship that would work bc otherwise she may always wonder what if? I just wish she could love naruto more than old and new sasuke, much as it is impossible for people to control who they love. get what im saying lol perhaps im putting a little too much realistic thought into this bc i know first hand similar situations to these emotionwise

oi i didnt mean it like that, look at the big picture PLEASE to me this chapter with flashbacks also closes what she felt for him in the past, look its very hard to get over a first love but with the person thats besides u u can get ride of it BUT first love will always be apart of her heart but now she wants to put those to the back of her heart to make room for the one that has slowly taken her full heart
seriouly it took me 4 years to get over my first love but my BF who was my best friend back then slowly captured my heart but still i feel for my first love

yeah i completely understand that im prolly just overthinking it all bc what you just said was the answer i started with in the beginning lol just bouncing ideas back and fourth got me to that point but cant wait for the next few chapters to come out i know in about 2 and a half months ill be looking back at a bigger picture i know im able to do that about every 10 chaps or so depending on whats going on in the story at that time
kewl kewl unfortunately i was in an opposite situation as that more or less naruto pt 1 cept my best friend returned the girls feelings lol. Anyways back onto the topic.

Thank you. I don't want to be a grammar Nazi, but some of the grammar I have seen is terrible even by internet standards.
I am not worried about Sakura still loving Sasuke. I think her meeting Sasuke and such in the past few chapters is her finally killing off any feelings she has or had. I think now that Naruto has come and saved her this only ensures her doubts, her fears, and any confusion she had is resolved. At least if I was her that is what I would think.
I see this as a step up, not a step back.
For once, Sakura has been proven wrong.
