SasuSaku got neutered and we just got a boost... again, man that it just too D**N good, Last chapter kind scared me in a way, I thought Sakura was just going to deceive Sasuke, but then again there's that little voice in you head, you know, we normally call it doubt and all if you catch my drift...

I should feel bad for the SS fans but for some reason my heart has suddely turned cold. I wonder why that is...

Kakashi has a 50/50 chance of death and not death. If he does die then Naruto has to be there to see it because we've got the star wars parodies going. It'll be an Anakin Obi-wan to Obi-wan Qui-gon moment. It will be the moment Naruto will realise how dark Sasuke has become. That will really set him off which would be terrible.

Only one thought comes to mind when when thinking of this chapter.....

Yes please! This is Kakashi's year according to Kishi so he shouldn't be dead yet, unless the fight drags into flashbacks and dying words then we'll be here until mid March. I'm saying he'll live and I give him 65% chance of doing so.
This is the point where I hope KungFuTruffle is wrong but Sasuke does seem to have that damned devil luck of his.

I am just going to say what NuclearRaven said, "It's done, it's over. Kishi killed it, buried it, unburied it, shot it in the head, burned it with fire, and proceeded to bury it again." If any SasuSaku fans still say it will happen, I admire their determination, but it's hopeless now. Sasuke killed it himself.

Will kakashi die? I don't think he will. What will happen is Madara will stop Sasuke and take him back. Sasuke is strong, but he is not invincible and even his strength is finite.

If Naruto appears and Kakashi is dead and he's told Sakura was going to be killed by Sasuke, haha Sasuke wouldn't even have a chance to say "Hi" to Naruto before he tore his head off. ^^ Kakashi and Sakura will always be closer to Naruto then Sasuke ever will be, but Naruto still cares for Sasuke as a brother ..

Well, this is just a random stupid thought I had about what would happen IF Kakashi died, which I am sure he won't, this is his year. He was in ANBU he was student of the Fourth he has a sharingan and he's at full strength now, Sasuke is going blind and has officiallly cracked; also he had a hard battle where he over-used his power. Kakashi isn't gonna die. Either is Sasuke. It's not gonna be a Win, Lose situation, I think it's more of a "who will retreat first" situation

I agree. I don't think this SS is going to go away. I think it will be left open-ended until we have a full confession, two sided NS romance. Unequivocally. And when that's resolved, the manga will be over. Team 7's romantic mess is a huge part of the plot line - it's not going away till the thing is done.

That being said, future SS may in fact come from Sasuke. All he would have to do would be to repeat the reasoning she gave Sasuke for wanting to be with him, and that would undermine anything she said to Naruto, who doesn't really believe her anyway. That may be where an ambiguous SS comes in.

Or, psycho-Sasu could feed him some brand new lies trying to manipulate things, like flat out telling Naruto that she loves him and he loves her, just to squelch his dream.

Anyway, NS ftw, but I have a hard time believing their romantic troubles are over.

And you can't apply that logic to NH, because that was never central to the plot. But this is. I just having a sneaking suspicion that the truths that NS are keeping from each other are going to come back and bite them till they reveal and accept their true feelings for one another.

Don't worry sweetie, Kakashi won't die, it is HIS year, that would be lame for him to die only 2 month after his years had started. Beside, Kakashi is far from being a weakling, just because Sasuke is in his power trip right now doesn't mean that lady luck will always be with him ( wish that luck would turn side, for once )

With Sasuke not in the best of shape after fighting Danzou, if he fight Kakshi for to long, he won't last ong. One again, Madara will interfere and save Sasuke but I just hope that Kakshi will have the time to teach a little lesson to his former student.

I really don't think Sakura actually thought about joining Sasuke, I'm one hundred percent sure it was her plan to kill him, and I think she didn't plan on killing Karin, it just so happened she was there.

I was really surprised to see people worried and thinking that she'd actually join him.

This chapter was such a boost! We finally have the main characters center stage. It makes my heart all happy! I love it. GO KAKASHI GO!

He did so in volume 24 (Somewhere around there) after he got out of that coffin that the Sound 4/5/6 had him in. He came out in his curse seal form (not full, but just the first level) with his back turned and lauging.

Then there was the maniacal expression he had when he went berserk way back and broke Zaku's arms. He's been crazy ever since volume 6.

I guess that I've forgot about that scene (been to long since I've read part 1). Then again, that he laugh in that part doesn't change the fact that, in both time, it was a creepy laugh.

Not necessarily, remember Kishi will always come up with something you won't expect and it's his manga. If he wants Naruto and Sakura to get together now then he'll come up with a way to do it.

I actually think it's possible Naruto and Sakura can get together before the manga is over, I actually believe it would enlighten them especially Naruto since he wouldn't have to worry about bringing Sasuke back for Sakura anymore.


Didn't Kishi say 2009 was the "Year of Naruto" and he only had a few months worth of screen time? Just putting that out there to those who is using word for word as a guide book from Kishi's interview.

I'm with you man I find it pitiful that they are people who are trying to make Sasuke look like the good guy who can still be redeem not with this chapter. Sasuke has lost it if Kakashi hasn't shown up he would have killed Sakura for the second time. People are defending that Madara is brainwashing him with his lies even if that's the case Sasuke's chances of being save has been decreased to 1%. It sadly to say that those people who think like that are N/H fans all for the sake that Sasuke gets together with Sakura so Hinata gets her chance with Naruto.

Did anyone else get the "fight on the hospital roof vibe"?

I could totally see an epic Kakashi vs Sasuke fight. It ends by Kakashi and Sasuke power up chidori and lunging at one another, and sage naruto flying in at the last second and deflecting both their attacks.

Think about it, Naruto is speeding there, Sakura is watching, and Kakashi even flashes back to the hospital moment. I really think that could happen. Then everyone fills naruto in... though I'm not sure what he'll do at this point.

Also, I was happy to see the brief hesitation and then resolve in Sakura. As was said before, it makes her more human. But I think this purged her of all doubt and now she is ready to become the heroine.

Um...you mean black Zetsu? no I don't think so that will be very stupid from Kishi especially when he said that Sasuke was going to become more evil and the fight against Danzo will determined his path. Sasuke has chosen his path the darkness.

We don't really know that much about Zetsu but I doubt that he have that ability. I think that his role is more to inform Madara with useful info. However, since we haven,t see him much, he could have other useful purpose.
