So that's how she really feels.. Ugh.. There is no light at the end of the tunnel, I swear.
Somebody shoot me, please.
Is this an interpretation and an actual translation? I assume someone's interpretation, especially with the copias amounts of "I" throughout the post
Because while it totally romanticizes and coos over her love and devotion for Sasuke, it does so in a way that makes her truly look a selfish b*tch. Her love for Sasuke is so grand that she crushes Naruto heart in one of the worst possible ways and does so when its totally unnecessary And it was a complete failure to boot.
Impressive.
But, I suppose he'll have Hinata to pick up the pieces.
Even if SasuSaku were the goal, I can't imagine him going about it like that and leaving so many bitter feelings in its wake.
I don't see why Sakura's love at this point must be an either/or question.

何回読んでも、サクラは誰が好きなんだろう。
No matter the times i read it, i ask to myself whom is Sakura in love with.
ナルト(木の葉のために)サスケを殺しに行くのか
Is she going to kill Sasuke for the sake of Naruto (Konoha)
サスケのためにサスケを殺しにいくのか。
Or is she willing to kill Sasuke for his sake (Sasuke's sake).
*innera is really enjoying reading everyone's opinions*

Like the batman avatar by the way. I agree, that people panic to quickly without getting all the information.
----------------------------
With these new translations, I think it looks good for our ship. The old translations sound a bit off to me at least.

In the avatar, yeah.
Not the signature. That's Grant Morrison. A crazy scottish comic writer. Crazy as in awesome crazy. The kind of crazy I wish Kishi were.

Ahaha, Christmas is on a Friday this year! XD How awesome would that be? Though I don't think their relationship will get that far in 3 chapters

The spoilers don't scare me as much as they used too, with the whole translated script I'm like, yay. This isn't so bad...
I must say... teary Naruto gets on my nerves. Just a little...

I found one line interesting though 'The girl that's fallen for Sasuke' This could be taken as two ways, the girl as in female who still loves him, or the the girl she was when she fell in love with him, she's no longer that girl that fell in love with Sasuke, she's grown up, so is Kishi saying that the current Sakura is no longer in Love with Sasuke but the part of her that is still that naive girl she was three years ago? Or is she still in love with Sasuke?
I don't think the issue of her still loving Sasuke is really the issue here, you'd have to be stupid if you think she will stop loving Sasuke, a part of her will always love him, as they say you never forget your first love. The issue is if she still is IN love with Sasuke (And if this pairing happens it will be the worst romance stories ever.) And why if her confession to Naruto was genuine, because that's unforgivable no matter how you see it if she didn't mean it. If she lied and Naruto forgives her once again, i'm going to be pissed.
And sheesh Kishi, Naruto is a Ninja who grew up being hated, you'd think he'd have a better grasp of his emotions, STOP MAKING HIM CRY EVERY FIVE MINUTES!!! My two year old Nephew never cried that much, and he is a cry baby.

look at this:
ナルト『うそだ… サクラちゃんがそんな事… サクラちゃんはサスケの事があんなに―』
Naruto: No way...Sakura-chan she...
遮るようにサイ『大好きだからこそ―
このまま悪へ突き進むサスケを放ってはおけないんだと思う』
Sai interrupting: It's because she's in love- At this rate, Sasuke is being thrust into wickedness, and I don't think she can stand to leave him like that.
Naruto's sentence here is inclomplete.
"Sakura-chan wa Sasuke no koto ga anna ni...." (the thing that goes next is probably what Sai says next.)
i'll explain a little bit more.
In japanese when someone says "X wa Y no koto ga..."
it's pretty clear that the word that follows is "suki/daisuki" that everyone knows means "love"/"like". --> X loves/is in love/likes Y.
"anna ni" means "like that"/etc.
we can presume Naruto is saying: Sakura-chan
but the "love" part isn't there because in japanese the verb is the last to add on a sentence, so there are lots of cases is not writen, and the reader must interpret (in many songs for example).
Here Sai is completing the sentence that Naruto was going to say:
which leads to the "遮るようにサイ" (Saegiru means "interrupt, obstruct, block"). Sai interrupts Naruto and finishes his sentence saying:
大好きだからこそ―
Daisuki dakara koso...
(and it's because she loves Sasuke, that....)
(that "koso" is enphatizing the main reason she's doing this, that is because she loves him, she's going to kill him)
It's like when Sakura thought about Hinata's feelings for Naruto when she was healing her, the verb didn't appear, but the japanese was pretty clear. And ALSO, we have Yamato's speech, who didn't finish that sentence and it's really clear for me as well.
rough week, huh?
don't panic, let's wait for those two to meet. (Sakura and Sasuke)

I actually don't go to general forums for a fandom anymore to avoid just that sort of thing.

I don't go to general forums either, but sometimes just by pure coincidence I end up running into NS-bashing.
Not to mention, DA gets flooded all the time with crap like that.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's not much fun in the debate threads though.

I've personally never liked those sort of threads much. They always seem to turn into fights. At least in my experience.

If you're feeling nostalgic about it, I can try and replicate the experience.
