The only thing else here that makes scene other than NarSaku, is to leave it open ended without any pairing. But that'll never happen, it just can't. We will no doubt prevail

I don't see NH going anywhere from that arc. Did you not see Naruto's expression, he looked more shock than pleased.

That may be true but one of the things I'd like to point out is that not all of us are the same on how we see things and I believe that is also the case for the NH team. I believe some think Naruto feels for her as a friend right now but will eventually fall in love with her as he slowly shifts his feelings from Sakura to Hinata. Not saying you weren't aware of it, but I just wanted to point it out.

I can also say I used to be on the NaruHina team up until shippuden and then I felt like NaruSaku was more likely to happen. Admittedly I also didn't follow Naruto much at all until Shippuden and that's when I backtracked and watched alot of the episodes.

*Edit 7/7/2010 Forgot to mention that if an NH says that, I'll point out that Naruto told Pain that he won't kill him even though he can't forgive him. So that wouldn't be a very good argument.

I once considered that, but logically speaking, Naruto through out that arc called her his friend, and if anyone was hurt by pain protecting him, he'd most likely still go into a mountainous rage. If it were Sakura he might have actually gone 8, but thats just the fan in me

? I don't think that Hinata's confession made Naruto happy. HE doesn't love her, that's a fact. So NH won't happen. I am kinda certain

Anyways, back on topic...I'd have to say I probably wouldn't stop reading the manga(after all...it only takes a couple minutes to read a manga chapter not like that's a huge investment of time...) if narusaku didn't happen but, Kishi would lose a massive amount of credibility in my eyes. The main reason I read "Naruto" is for the character development. If Kishi ended up pairing Naruto with someone else after some of the hints that have been shown (Yamato's comment after the four tails incident comes to mind) it would make me seriously doubt Kishi's ability to develop characters and their relationships in a way that his readers can understand.

In the end I suppose Kishi can do whatever he wants to but...there's something to be said for a story that isn't disjointed in any way. If naruhina happened at this point it would seem so contrived it wouldn't even be funny.

Thinking about this all in a more practical sense...He'd profit more from leaving "Naruto" without any pairing since he'd avoid overly angering anyone.

If we lose I would be really dissapointed...I don't really like SasuSaku and I hate NaruHina..if either of them happen I would punch my pillow a couple of times until I feel better and then I would say that I don't believe it and punch the pillow again and then be in a really grumpy mood for a long long time...I would also delete all the NaruSaku fanfics I have on my computer and phone..soo anyway I think that we wont lose cause well..NaruSaku is going to happen..I know it !!! IT HAS TOOOOOOO !!!!

You shouldn't give up faith just yet animegirl, I'd doubt Kishimoto would pull off something like Harry Potter did, he's worked to hard to throw all of Naruto and Sakura's development away, more than anything, like we've said, it's a patience romance and one that will be even more sweeter once it happens!

i was saying before chapter 498,504 come out it will be NaruSaku or nothing
but after chapter 498,504 i will say the only paring can be in Kishi's head definitely NaruSaku and the only paring can be happen
and it was that from the first of part 2 since kishi made hard for the development between naruto and sakura and it was the only paring he develop from the first

if i started to talk about this topic it will take from me at least 5Hours and i have no time

The day that NaruHina or SasuSaku will be canon, is December 21st 2012.

But seriously: If NaruHina or SasuSaku(Or even worse: SasuNaru! ) will be canon, I'll cry. And after that; I would be angry at Kishi, I would read maannyyy fanfics to forget the pain, and c'mon: We still have imagination!

If SasuSaku would be canon, I would be very dissapointed(Is this spelled good? ). There was no good development between them, so Kishimoto would just throw Sakura away(I don't care about Sasuke. ), and that's unecceptable(Cuz she's my fav character! )!

Hmmm... NaruHina... They had a little development between them, but it would be weird if NaruHina would be canon, because Naruto has never showed affection to Hinata. Only to Sakura.

Okay, now to SasuNaru... Wait... Wut?! Naruto isn't gay! That would be SICK!


Ahem... Now back to myself...
I REALLY want NaruSaku to be canon, because... Wel... It's obvious, duh! I would be depressed if NaruSaku won't be canon... ... But I would still watch the anime! ^^

From the first day of Academy, I put down my bets for NaruSaku. If I lose... my pride will be greatly hurt so I will personally make sure Kishi doesn't make it that way *glances at weapon scrolls*.

Jokes aside, I'll still support Naruto (albeit a lot less enjoyably). Every 5 chaptersdays, I'll probably pull out my hair in frustration and demand to the skies why my favourite couple is not together.

But before that, why would we lose? Thinking about it, NaruSaku is the only pairing that makes sense. SasuSaku, NaruHina and... SasuNaru have had little to no plot development. There is no way they would marvelously end up together. The only way I can see that is not NaruSaku would be Naruto doesn't end up with anyone. Naruto and Sakura will continue to have their fuzzy uncertain couple-like relationship till the end.

Please, don't let that happen.
