Going out of topic for a second, Sakura can open craters on the ground with a single hit, i fail to see Susano or Amaretsu opening craters on the ground. Yes she has been a healer, but she has also been a fighter, and perhaps the best fighter there is right now. Second to Lee.

Exactly and Taijutsu was the majority of what the Raikage used to beat the hell out of Sasuke. Sai has the speed to block Sasuke, Lee has Taijutsu, speed and his Gates, Sakura has greater strength than Lee, probably fairly close to Tsunade's- who could kill with one punch, the ability to see a fighter's premovement hints, a high anti genjutsu level of defense- Sasuke shouldn't be able to even touch her at all genjutsu wise, since she could even defend against Itachi's, which even at 30% was strong enough to start to pull Kakashi in. Then there's the potential of her using her water affinity offensively, which I count as fairly likely. (He's had Tsunade use an electrical affinity offensively against Kabuto, so Sakura using water, which overpowers fire makes sense.)

I don't think it will be a decisive win on either side, close to a stand-off. I'm wondering if Kishimoto will parallel the Sanin fight in a way and have Naruto end up chasing after Sakura, and have them end up fighting Sasuke together.

If these spoilers turn out to be accurate, I feel pretty good about the conclusion of Naruto and Sakura's conversation. She got tough and argued instead of falling apart. Now Sakura is finally off to confront Sauske. As others have said, the tables have turned, and now Sakura is striking out to somehow resolve the Sauske situation without Naruto's help. Whether she means to merely confront him or to kill him (or attempt the latter when the former fails) I don't know. What is clear is that she is doing it for Naruto's sake. Naruto is now left to find out that a 4th ninja war had been declared over the power of the tailed beasts. Make no mistake, Naruto still loves Sakura. He's just being stuborn about the possiblity that Sakura's feelings could've changed. The question now is, will he find out what Sakura's up to? The Kages are going to want to hide him away for protection, but do you really think they will be able to stop him if he finds out Sakura is in danger. I think the key to actually redeeming Sauske will be Naruto and Sakura facing him together, but whether this happens soon or at the end of the story, I have no idea. Anyway, I definitely don't think that this is a negative for NaruSaku.

Please, no feminism in this thread. This is Naruto. True was right in saying that Sakura logically couldn't defeat Sasuke, but I honestly doubt he was implying that it was because she was female.

I think when sakura and sasuke meet its gonna be like the first time in shippuuden(I dont know<---)some questions and answers, she might warn him about the status he's under back in konoha, and tell him that naruto is hurting(?) because of him, or something, if there's fighting I don't think its going to be against sasuke

They reunited once before, remember? Not sure what chapter, but it was one of the first Shippuden arcs.

Well Sakura might have a chance against Sasuke at current strength, he is out for the count at the moment, so by the time he comes to he still won't be anywhere close to 100%, So Sakura might actually win, Not saying she's weak (The way she punched that summon dead in it's track during the invasion gave an idea of her physical strength.) but saying Sakura can beat Sasuke at 100% is saying she's also at the level of Kage which she isn't quite yet, remember unlike Sasuke she doesn't get free upgrades every other arc.

And yes, the two of them will definitely fight... but fighting in a relationship can strengthen it.

Now don't get me wrong here. I like Sakura (in fact I like her more than Naruto...(currently)) but we have to be logical fans here when it comes to in terms of power. I'm sure she would hold her own against Sasuke, but defeating him is another story. Even so Sasuke is Naruto's rival and the fate of the ninja world will rest on their battle of the Will of Fire vs. Power of Hate. Naruto will carry everything on his shoulders and be the one to ultimately destroy the darkness. It's been long in the making. Sakura is the one who will finally snap him out of his current state and see what Sasuke has really become. Her role will be pivotal and I agree with the sense in she will fit the parallel of the Sannin and assist Naruto in some cause--it doesn't necessarily have to be physically but anything at all and could be the deciding factor in Naruto's eventual defeat over evil and they both will lead the ninja world into peace.

Sakura is a medical nin. That means her skill set is not optimized for combat. She is outclassed by someone like Sasuke.

Having said that, I've suggested that one path for the story is that Sakura will kill Sasuke to stop him from killing Naruto. Not in a straight-up fight, but after Sasuke turns his back and ignores her to ready a Naruto-killing blow. (Naruto would beat Sasuke in a straight-up fight, but Naruto would also hold back at the last second, which would let Sasuke get the upper hand.)

I think Naruto knows. The minute a ninja walks out the village gates and goes after his own goals, he becomes a nukenin. Plus, I think Tsunade would have acted on that and put him in the bingo book.

Yeah, people forget that Sakura developed a mother/daughter like bond to Tsunade. Her emotional bond to Tsunade is just as strong as Naruto's was to Jiraiya's. Tsunade is way more important to Sakura than Sasuke. She's on par with Naruto to Sakura.

Naruto though, seems to value Jiraiya on the same level he does Sasuke. (or Sakura). Although I can see how some people are reacting to this chapter's spoilers by thinking that Naruto values Sasuke above Sakura. Naruto does kind of come across as if he doesn't care what evil deeds Sasuke has done he won't stop loving Sasuke. The very thing that a couple of people were claiming about Sakura in the 469 discussion here. Never mind Sakura said she couldn't have any feelings for Sasuke anymore because of the horrible things he had already done and would continue to do. Sakura is resolved to feel that way even if it takes her heart a while to catch up with her mind. It was a very hard decision for Sakura but she knew she had to make it. That's why she's so pissed off in this chapter. She really does love Naruto and she has really decided she has to cut off all feelings for Sasuke. The only self-deception is believing she's successfully cut all those emotions off, but what's left is not enough to kept her from her resolve about what she has to do. Naruto has become just about as obsessed with Sasuke as Sasuke has about venegence on everyone.

Okay bear with me here, but could I sense the mother of all NaruSaku endings in the mix????

Let us say for my own diluted imagination's sake that Sakura finds Sasuke, gets taken hostage as many of us believe to be a possibility, and Naruto is detained after Killer Bee's Brush with Kisame (this idea could really pan out whether or not Killer Bee just narrowly escapes or actually gets caught, though i think the first is much more probable). Then, if you care to indulge me even further, Naruto hears while in captivity that Sasuke (or Madara being the puppet master that he is) has Sakura hostage. Either enlisting the help of Killer Bee who also wants to be free of his captivity or just tanking his way out, Naruto rushes into the fray to save the woman he loves... possibly even overcoming/convincing Sasuke and his hatred with the help of a heartfelt 100% genuine confession from our favorite pink haired kunoichi... OOOOOOHHHHH it's giving me GOOSEBUMPS i tell you!!!! :3

Okay heres what i see happening

Over the next few chapters

Naruto will spend the next few chapters thinking about what Sakura has said. I think then he will understand what she is saying and will be happy that she cares for him so much.

He will then trace her Chakra so that he can go apologise for the things he said and not arguing with her.

Thats when he'll find out that Sakuras gone an entirley different way and goes after her. Aftering ditching the kages of course
Menawhile Sakura may come accross Sasuke, Questions will be asked, feelings will come to the front and sasuke will lay a beat down on Lee and Kiba leaving Sakura on her own.

I think she will get beat up but her resolve will stop her from going down especially after she learns the truth of the bench scene. I can see her being put in a Genjustu and sasuke will play out Narutos life to her and how much she has hurt him/doesnt deserve him and so on. Or He will remind her how weak a ninja she is and try and break her down mentally.

Then our hero arrives and saves Sakura.
Naruto and Sasuke face off but mostly they talk to each other
The Kages then arrive after finding out where naruto has gone and Sasuke flees.

Unlikely but i think some of it could happen.

Edit: Killer Bee vs Kisame is so far the best part of the chapter. Killer Bee is so full of win!

Edit 2: Have you seen Sakura with a face full of regret when she is thinking "forgive me Naruto" but then it changes into one hard and full of decision whe she says that they´re going after Sasuke?
