I really can't wait to see this movie. It's going to be awesome, even if it sucks. ^^

No rickrolll.
Honestly I'm glad I'm not too attached to Green Lantern and the suit thing. I will agree a real suit would've been nice. But I'm excited to see this movie, regardless, although to be honest, the trailer didn't wow me.
It's not the fan-made one, which was awesome.
This trailer feels desperate and is one of those trailers that feels like you watched the whole movie.

Scriptflags state that a P.R contact has Confirmed Batman: The Dark Knight Rises is based on Doeg Moench's "Prey", the unofficial follow up to Frank Miller's Year One.

But it looks like that they've decided to go a more light hearted Watchmen approach. So let me ask you a question which looks better?

I loved Long Halloween and parts of Dark Knight Returns... did not care for the art of Dark Knight Returns. !!! The Hugo Strange thing ties in with Arkham City too!!!!

I agree, the fan-trailer feels like they're taking the material more serious and the epic scope is apparent. The new trailer as I said when I posted the trailer feels desperate, shows the whole movie and feels like it takes things less seriously, but again we haven't seen the movie yet, I honestly don't think this is a well-done trailer (the official one). As a side note the music used for the Green Lantern movie creates a better sense of awe than the official trailer. I believe its a song from Batman Begins? Does anyone else notice... that other than the "hey here's another Ryan Reynolds movie general joe-q public" beginning in the official trailer... the outlay of both trailers are almost the same?... stealing? Also, the fan-made trailer has all the green lanterns saying the oath which also leads to a more epic feeling versus just trying to sell Ryan Reynolds saying it alone.

I do agree that Ryan Reynolds would be a better choice for Flash (Wally West). I also think he would make a better Green Lanturn as Kyle Rayner than as Hal Jordan. But I think Kyle Rayner is Ion now.
I didn't like the official trailer too much, but I'm still excited for the movie. The fan one was better.

At the moment though, I'm looking forward to Thor more than I do Green Lantern. I don't know exactly what it is about Marvel's movies lately, but I just find myself falling for every single piece of hype they can blast my way. Captain America is also a movie I'm looking forward to greatly.

Watchmen and Nolan's Batman make Marvel pale in comparison, however Marvel's plots are more easily made relevant as to the fact their characters are all linked and all together. And just more human.
When a DC movie doesn't look serious as a marvel then they haven't gone with their strengths it's why the last Superman movie was never any good. This is where the branch begins if Green Lantern can succeed then the other DC heros can move forward.
I would really love to see how they pull off a Flash movie.

Sam must have improved Spiderman!

DC is far from failing and it most certainly doesn't count on Green Lantern for making or failing it's future success. The older Superman films with Christopher Reed were quite a success for it's time period. Critics dis Superman now cause the director didn't amp it up enough like the comic has done. Rumor is going around that Nolan will pick up Superman so it'll likely be a big hit.
"New Avengers" Emblem & Filming Spots for The Avengers & Iron Man 3 Revealed

As for "The Flash" the latest rumor is Chris Pine will fill the role. I think Chris would be a good Barry Allen.

I like it. But it looks bulky and awkward to move in.
Weird, not a fan of the look of the material, or the spidey emblem.
