I think they did. That's why its on the manga panels. The problem at hand was that ppl thought they got caught into the Infinite Tsukuyomi by looking at the moon and get trapped by the tree

I think it's a razor-thin chance, but if they realize there's still money to be made, then why not. Crazier things have happened. And the ending of the manga was so poorly and hastily done, and The Last was such a one-sided love-story of a movie, there is really a great big vaccuum where they could revisit the Naruto series. I mean, if they wanted to say it was a genjutsu, it wouldn't be a stretch. It would be completely part of the original story. In fact, it almost feels like they built in an easy excuse with the whole exploration of a dream world and alternate universe, just as a jumping off point to go back and reconnect to Naruto in the future. Should they choose to.

 

When it comes down to it , any chance of ever seeing NS in some official way hinges on that : is there any money to be made from it ?  Of course , even now money probably can be made from an alternate story , but it would  most likely be less than what they get from the current ending .

 

Maybe some day, in a few years , when most NH/SS fans are done with Naruto , a reboot movie with a NS ending and their family   might be successful enough to  make money . If more so , Kishimoto somehow wakes up ( read gets his head out of his ass ) and realizes that  his ending was trash for the epic 15 years story of Naruto , and he decides to also tackle some , if not all  of the  unresolved plots , there will  definitely be money to be made from that .

Then you prepare to waste your whole life complaining about me complaining with this petty anger to me having an opinion about a series and how to properly write a story instead of letting writers take example from Naruto and continue to write stories of kitten romance thinking "Hey, it's okay. The Otaku fans don't give a kitten."

I laugh how you think that hating on this series is all I do all day which it isn't. Not like....oh I dunno...I have a job or anything that makes money or possibly a GF who I can be with.....nope my entire life consists of me just complaining about Naruto 24/7. Yeup. No life beyond the internet here. *sarcasm*

But hey, so long as you are riding the canoe with me, why not grab an oar and start paddling you know since...you are still here...talking about Naruto...and complaining.

Did I say this was all you do? No, I didn't. Kudos to you for having a life outside anime/manga unlike the Otakus. I went with what you yourself said about complaining until the ending was changed, so I said that you would be complaining about it forever. And don't worry, I won't be complaining to you about you hating on Naruto. Unlike you, I plan to move on with my life and end this conversation after this post.

Don't act like a kitten to me because you're mad about the ending to Naruto. I don't appreciate it. I never wronged you, so get back in your face. Plus, I rarely post here and only post stuff saying how awesome Rock Lee is. Not about my opinion of the ending or anything else Post-700.

Most of the arguments are based on "ive heard that..." and "kishi interviews he said..."

if you're bashing us acting like the interviews are fake and falsified, you don't know what you're talking about   http://www.animenews...omic-con/.94186 this is the latest interview at the new york comic con this year and unlike the other ones this is in america therefore no false translations since its in english so its reliable. as usual he has changed what he said in the japanese interviews and now said he planned naruto and hinata in the middle of the manga, also he confirmed his wife was like sakura and she was mad naruto and sakura didn't happen and he lied to her saying hinata was based off her, lied to his own wife... and before in one of the japanese interviews he said that we, the fans that thought naruto would end up with sakura, "read it wrong" and that the kushina = sakura stuff was all a "red herring".,,,and you still believe in kishimoto? someone's in denial....

 

also its not just depression, its also resentment, depressed that we wasted 15 years of our lives to see a series we loved end in this way that we grew attached to when we could have done other things, and resentment to an author who went on an interview just to attack us fans and question our intelligence over a fiction story and saying we read it wrong, for 15 freaking years. and then he's gonna never be consistent with his interviews and pull all this other crap? no thanks I would rather try other series and go back to dbz and digimon, screw the naruto ending and screw kishimoto, I may still like the characters but I'll never support this series, even if it does get an alternate ending.

kakashi never got with kushina.....minato is the fourth hokage and naruto's dad, kakashi is minato's student and naruto's teacher, you're getting them mixed up horribly, yet you say its an argument.....

im not saying the interviews are false or bad translated. I mean its kishi is a prankster and misleads ppl, just like how he did with yondaime being naruto's father and the madara/tobi/obito thing. We cant trust every word from kishi. But if you want... be my guest!! All yours ^^

well I read starlightbrite's comment on your example so I do get it now that I read it but even then its still not a good argument, it has no merit and if he really did agree with us he would not have verbally attacked us in an interview, he made it very obvious he was talking about anyone that thought naruto and sakura were gonna happen.  kishimoto is not gonna change the ending in the manga no matter how much you want it, and even if the anime team did make an alternate ending, they're already killing it with the fillers so its most likely not happening anyway, its not even near the top anime series spots anymore, it keeps dragging lower and lower in japan  and more people are starting to stop caring about it, I honestly think the anime will be cancelled before there's even an alternate ending at this rate. and if an alternate ending does happen, all the fans have already moved on, do you honestly think we still care whether there's an alternate ending or not at this point? we've all moved on, the reason we still talk here isn't because we haven't moved on, as I stated before its because we all love eachother here and the environment of this forum, we've made too many friends keeping track of this series. and don't want to leave the friends behind.
