Well, I don't know if the anime has explained this, cause I'm trying hard not to spoil myself.

 

But about Gon's father. How old was he when he had Gon?
From what I know Gon's father was 12 when he left the island to become a Hunter.

Hunter exam

The fight between Gon and the Ninja guy at the finale phase was... Umm not the best.. It was still somehow fine. The Hunter Exam was also nicely build, in my opinion. 
 
Also, I'm surprised with Killua's family. The next arc is about his family, so I'm looking forward to it.

Imao, yeah, you can't even call that a fight b/w Gon and ninjaboy Hanzo XD Gon just really tested Hanzo's patience.

Haha, good question. Gin was 20 when Gon was born. Dude left Whale Island when he was 12, never bothered showing up until 10 yrs later. He's in my opinion one of HxH's most interesting individuals- and one of the worst fathers out there. Just saying XD Oh, and so far we know nothing about Gon's mom, though there is one theory floating around that I will tell you later towards the end.

I began Heavens arena arc. So far, I think the series has turned really interesting (especially Killua's family). Can't wait for the 4 of them to meet again in YorkNew >.<

Yorknew Arc will be the first serious dark arc. Some say it's superior to the Chimera Ant Arc, but you'll have to decide that for yourself.

 

He is a bad father. Both him and Gon acknowledge that, so yeah But he's an incredibly interesting individual.

 

For now though, Gon views Mito as his mom.

Hisoka is one of my favorites XD Such a sly and clever (and handsome) troll, lol. But you pretty much know nothing about his past, and that may remain that way b/c another character has stated that Hisoka never looks back into the past.

In case you're wondering if he's pedo... Probably. Fact is, age and gender don't matter in his eyes as long as his opponent is strong- if that condition is fulfilled, he gets excited

 

Well, you'll see why Ging sucks as a Dad ^_^

What do you think of the current Kurapika though?

As for me..

Obviously, he went through a lot. Working underground might have made him a bit corrupted? The way he's hinting that even those who were deadbent on never giving him the Kurta eyes later on gave in is scary... He still cares about his friends of course, but I feel like he tries to keep them at a distance.

Oh, and as of chapter 349, Kurapika is 20 yrs old now O_o When he was first introduced, he was just 17. Time passes, lol.
