To be fair...The rivalry between Dexter and Mandark was much better written than that of Nardo and Saspuke.

Any rivalry ever invented in any work of fiction is better that the so called rivalry of Naruto and Sasuke.

I also thought that maybe we were looking at this manga wrong...since NS was destroyed in the final chapters perhaps we were a little hurt and bitter about that, but when I read this chapter it just cements the fact that MK doesn't care about writing a good story.

Nah. The moment he made SS canon is the moment when I realized he lost his kitten mind. The moment when I found out he planned on ending this entire series with a romantic movie instead of development throughout the story is when I realized he had lost his kitten mind. The moment when Kaguya showed up and we only had 5 chapters of Naruto v. Sasuke....is when I realized that Masashi Kishimoto lost his kitten mind.

I had strong suspicions throughout the war arc. However, Obito is a cool guy was where he indisputably proved he had no idea what he was doing.

Sasuke is severely mentally scarred and he never got help for his trauma. He can't be in a healthy relashionship with someone. Sakura doesn't seem to understand that, she just keeps acting like everything's fine and nothing's wrong (ironic considering she opened a mental hospital). She thinks her love can "save him" but the problem is that you can't force someone to love you.

Aw I love that Sakura panel! Momma love! I'm just going to focus on Sarada and Sakura's mother daughter relationship. This is really the only mother daughter relationship we've gotten to see in the Manga. I just still love Sakura, I can't help it. The amount of hate I have for Kishi (for trying to ruin her character) is overridden by my absolute love of what I see as her premise. The only "normal" one of the team and she still manages to kick ass. *shrugs* I did not think I'd be reading anymore Naruto, that is for sure.

Edit: On a side note, wtf is Naruto getting jealous for when Sakura is talking about her husband and child being attacked, he gave up on her, and only persued her for a trophey, has no right to get jealous.

 And Sakura has no right to say naruto is still her best friend after all she said to him in TL and never thank Naruto for bringing Sasuke back to her. A person that uses another for personal gain is no friend at all.

Self-defense is when someone is attacking you and you stop them from assaulting you, this assuming they are a threat. Yes, stopping Sakura and grabbing her kunai would be considered "self-defense." Do you know what isn't self-defense? When the attacker is subdued and you go for the killing blow against them when they are no longer a threat.

If he had her in the choke hold and he was gonna stab her anyway, then that is NOT self-defense.

If that is considered self-defense, then me double tapping my attacker is considered self-defense as well after I already shot and injured him to the point he can no longer take action.

The only who is to blame is Kishimoto. Like I said, we weren't truly living a lie, we just assumed that the ending was gonna make it all worth it so we convinced ourselves that everything was gonna work out in the end.

You know, like how life is. Sometimes stuff hits the fan, but sometimes when comes from that maybe have been worth the trouble the whole time. This is what it means to be optimistic.

Exactly but good luck making this people understand this and actually start using common sens and logic , unfortunately 90% of that fandom is full with bunch of illiterate morons without zero reading comprehension and would take and crap that's been served to then as long as they get what they want ugh !!! . 

 

But my point was lets say even if it was some kind of "self defense" (which clearly wasn't) how.....just how daufq is that an excuse for this couple to be validated !? True, but she still has no right to call him a friend much less a dear friend especially with how poorly portrayed their relationship is in the last. Forget the romantic hints that made them seem so close, they do not even show the platonic intimacy of best friends in that one. They didn't consider each other's feelings in that kitten movie, just focused on getting what they wanted. But yes Naruto has no right either tio be jealous of them especially as you said he did not deny Sakura's assumption (I will call it that) he only loved her for sasuke's rivalry. If that is the reason then his feelins for her are not real, plain and simple and the canon story should have no releveance here since they retconned everything anyway.
