Yeah, I was thinking about it as well. It almost sound like MCU way of saying, "Spider-Man is back with us!"

That's true and I understand the meaning behind it too lol

Though I do think a title like Webslinger would've been cool or Wallcrawler. If not that then maybe spectacular Spider-Man. Okay complaints on the title aside...

I'm looking forward to it, not so sure about Vulture being the villain though I never really found him interesting as the main villian.

Not to be a heel, but Captain America Civil War reviews are out and wow, night and day.

I literally can't wait until the movie is out.

I can't wait to see the next upcoming Nostalgia Critic review episode of BvS with AngryJoe, lol ( *Doug walking out with a Batman and Superman costume in hand* ......I swear this is not a clue.). I still love the Man of Steel review with the two but I don't know how Joe is going to be able to defend Superman in BvS against Doug with Batman (especially if you see his Angry Review of BvS where even he, for all his Superman love, can only rate it around 5 or 6/10).

It was hard on him. He really wants to like it like a good 8/10 range but he just can't help but see those flaws. I felt the same. Me and my brother were mixed after the film was over. I ended up thinking it was ok but largely because of Batman. That would've a-ok if it was a Batman movie, but I couldn't.

So, now, with the next movie coming out, it felt like I was reading a completely opposite of this movie. It almost makes you want to tell these DC guys to not do Justice League and start taking notes from CW. Me and my brother are already thinking of preordering.

Basically, they were very good. Some calling it the peak of all Marvel movies yet.

Yeah, it makes me feel like DC should have followed Marvel's formula and simply made this the Batman standalone movie and then follow up with the other members with their first standalone movies first while building up to Justice League / Injustice bit by bit and then finally top it off with Justice League. With the way it's going, I don't see how we're going to be expected to care at all about any of the Justice League members aside from Batman and, to a lesser degree, Wonder Woman (can't even say Superman as his big moment was completely wasted with BvS) since we won't "know" any of the other members yet in regards to the DCCU.

I guess it depends on what one may be looking for. For a more "pure" Captain American film, then I'd say The Winter Soldier for now.

Speaking of no spoilers, I never watched Spectacular Spider-Man, but people are comparing to the action similar to that. That said when one heard it, they lost their mind like it's nerdgasm. Um, so like how good are the action in that show?

best animated spider-man show ever. combat was very fluid and fun to watch, most notably against the sinister six.

I guess that's the best thing since people say the rest suck? idk was wonder woman good?

 

Well I've softened up at AA as LL cus I didn't think she'd fit at first. She's not the Lois type. But she a decent actress and I've read interviews, she understands her character so well. : )

Likewise. I have nothing against her, but her role was so misguided and filler that I think she was used to fill in time. It's mind boggling. I won't spoil you, but there's this infamous scene that people likes to talk about because of how one scene is not only plot hole but incredibly face palming. It has to do with the staff. That's all I can say.

Same here, and not even really because Lois was necessarily "bad" in the film but rather that she didn't feel like she much of a place or purpose here besides just being used as a setup piece for what's obviously supposed to be an Injustice: Gods Among Us type of movie.

Lois did find evidence about Superman's innocence from the events early in the movie, but it didn't really play out into anything much bigger. It may have played a part in putting Lex in prison but I'd think the fact that he openly tried to blackmail Superman and unleashed Doomsday and such would be more than enough as it is. Lois also only protected Superman from Batman's final blow with the kryptonite spear but it wasn't even because of Lois getting between him and Superman that Bruce hesitated in killing Superman but rather the fact that their mother's just happened to share the same name (Martha) and that seemed to somehow snap Bruce back to remembering why he became Batman or some weird reason like that...

She was damsel in distress way often than needed to be, Lex would be convicted just by unleashing well you know, she was in one facepalm scene, and the chemistry wasn't there with Superman. It's just...there.

But hey, at least Mashima took a moment and pulled a Fairy Tail flavor that I know I didn't ask for with her.
