Might as well join the thread...but I've got some questions U_U

First, from what I gather, there are three different routes that are basically AU's? UBW, FSN, and Heavens Feel? And in each one, things are played out differently, and this guy Shirou falls in love with a different chick depending on the route (you lucky dog you)...and the Heavens Feel Route doesn't have an anime, but will get a movie in the future? Meanwhile UBW, and FSN have anime adaptations, and there's also Zero, which is the prequel to FSN...

Basically, I was just going to finish UBW, then watch Zero, then read the light novel for FSN so I don't have to watch the bad anime lol

Nono, Fate/ Stay Night is a visual novel from 2004. That means that you play a novel on your computer. You know, you click and decide what you wanna do next. Playing one route takes hours. LIterally one route takes approximately... 48 hours? I was trying to download the game, but was unsuccessful to do so. Just know that the visual novel does contain sexual scenes in it unlike the anime. However, Heaven's Feel Route will have a hard time if it does not include the sexual scenes b/c, well, I unfortunately spoilered you about that due to a misunderstanding on my part

The visual novel looks like this:

You first play the Fate/Route. After you're done with it, you unlock the UBW route. Finally, you can unlock the Heaven's Feel Route. BUT, each one of the Routes has three different endings: The True, The Good, and The Bad one. (Ryo and I hope this anime will have the True End b/c the Good end sucks).

Fate/Stay Night is a visual novel released by the game company type moon. Type Moon often releases visual novels which are all interconnected with each other: The characters basically live in the same world which is collectively known as the "Nasuverse". But the characters never meet each other with the exception of a special person (she will appear in the Heaven Feel's Route which is why Ryo and I are so excited).

The manga that has been released afterwards. Probably began to be serialized at the same time the adaptation to the Fate Route came out. Animes, visual novels, and light novels getting mangas happens a lot nowadays: Best example is prob SAO.

You can read the manga if you want to. I haven't and am too lazy to do that XD (There are 20 volumes). Apparently, the manga also pools elements from other routes, so it's up to you if you want to watch the Fate/Stay Night version from 2006 or read the manga.

The current Unlimited Bladeworks Route should continue in April with Part 2 (thank god you don't have to wait that long b/c Ryo and I have been waiting for more than two months now T^T).

Here is the trailer to the Heaven's Feel Route movie. W/out doubt, this is the darkest route of the visual novel. Release date not known yet. There might be a slight spoiler for you:

Ok, ok. I get your point, but I'm sorry, I still sort it in that category. But there is definitely nothing worse than SS.
GilgameshxSaber- will always be a crackship to me XD (Maybe if I knew more about Hollow Ataraxia, I'd change my mind). Gilgamesh is a good villain though, but jfc the implications he made if he had married her... Just thinking about it makes me sick. Gilgamesh is the epitome of pride and egotism.

Apparently it's a blend of both the Fate and UBW Route with some elements from the Heaven's Fell Route.

You play volleyball?

That volleyball episode was hilarious. But the race remains to be my favorite episode; then comes the Berserker episode who knocks out everyone while trying to find batteries for Ilya    The only episode I had a hard time laughing with was the one with Sakura b/c that was so... tasteless.

That is the Fate route with a mix of UBW in it and it doesn't really follow the visual novel but you will get the gist of the Fate route from it, also...if you are gonna watch Heaven's Feel, get yourself ready because its dark compare to the two other routes

As far as I know there is no light novel to Fate/Stay Night. You can a) watch the Fate anime from 2006e, b) read the manga, c) read a summary of the Fate route on wiki, or d) literally play the fate route on the visual novel game XD.

What do you mean exactly? Are you referring to the UBW and Heaven's feel route? I only know that fate/zero was first a light novel series before it was adapted into an anime.
