I do not understand why some here are having so much doubts about NS after this chapter.

 

We have Sakura announcing that she loved Sasuke and she could not believe he turned out this way. ( Chapter 540 callback and it confirms NS fans were right. She was ashamed she loved a guy like Sasuke)

 

We have Sasuke outright rejecting her and making it clear SS will never happen.

 

And finally we have Kakashi sharply rejecting Sasuke's belief that Sakura still likes him. Kakashi clearly says this is not the case and Sakura is just trying to save Sasuke, nothing more than that. (Chapter 675 callback and once again NS fans had it right. Sakura used to love Sasuke and now is kind enough to want to save him despite his attempts at her life) 

 

So please, calm down and think about these points. SS is dead. It couldn't be more obvious.

Fact is that she didnt say: Naruto, please take care! Come to me alive...
Hell, she did cry for Sasuke (for no reason)
AND NOT for Naruto while he was at the edge of DEATH!..

Isn't that obvious?! It's because she doesn't want them to fight and for Christ, Sasuke is the one who wants to kill Naruto. What did you expect her to do beside trying to stop him??

I will still ship NS...

 

But it's only by proxy of it being a far better pairing than NH/SS ever could be.

 

This is kitten. Almost 700 chapters in and she's STILL in love with this kittenhead of a dude? Sorry Kishi, get the kitten out with that kitten.

Sakura is terrified and hurt that the guy she once LOVED so much turned out to be like THIS. She wants Team 7 to be together and smiling again, not killing each other!  It is nearly stated DIRECTLY.

 

What is so hard to understand about that?! I don't get it ...

She should be happy that her one former teammate and dear brother to Naruto is going to become a mass murderer?

You know what she did while Naruto whole he was dying? She cut his chest open, pumped his heart, and literally kept him alive. All the whole thinking about his dreams.

I'm sorry, did someone else miss the second half of the chapter about "love overcoming hatred"? Or the Promise of a Lifetime, where Naruto said he promised to bring Sasuke back? Or the whole Jiraiya arc, where the old hermit said he truly believed Naruto will be the child of prophecy who will overcome hatred?

There are honestly people who believe Sasuke won't return to the good side...?

That's it . That why this chapter annoyed, or pissed off people. 

From a story point, she did the right thing ( she want to avoid the battle between them so she just express her feeling)

But it's insulting people intelligence to make her say that she still loved Sasuke after stab, stab, murderous attempt on her and her teammates etc. Even Naruto is too cool with him

Oh god I feared my ass off when I saw Sasuke piercing through Sakura's chest...

 

I'm really surprised this chapter turned out like that, talking about love that much.

I didn't expect Sasuke to say bluntly that he doesn't care about Sakura at all.
I didn't expect Sakura to say bluntly she loved him. I thought she would yell at him about what he said.

But with this, it's clear. It's clear and then I see some SS fans claiming that Sakura still love him when she kept using past tense.
It's crazy.

 

I mean, even here on this forum, there is people that don't know how to interpret the chapter. come on guys. Sasuke doesn't care about her, she said she loved him, it's past tense, and even if she's crying, she doesn't love him anymore. That's clear. SasuSaku will never happen. To me it was clear from the very beginning in this manga though LOL.

I'm upset that Sakura is knocked out because I wanted her to participate. She said things, but I wanted her to say more. I think Kishimoto doesn't want anybody to interfere in NaruSasu fight. He must believes fans only want to see those two fight with no "fodder" bursting in it.
I don't think Sakura will manage to get out of the genjutsu because of that. Kishi must have decided to knocked her out for her not to interfere with the fight and let it happen.

But I'm unhappy that Sakura didn't yell at him about his goals.

 

I don't get why people here are annoyed by the fact that Sakura said she loved Sasuke all this time ? It's the truth. She kept feelings for him almost all the story. She also developed feelings for Naruto, but right now that's not the subject. It's not a lie that she loved Sasuke all along. She wanted to save him. She wanted to save those happy days they had as team7.

 

And as I said before, the PoaL is still valid for Naruto. I was sure of it, and Naruto just confirmed it for us to see that he will bear this all his life. It's because he loves her so much. He wants to see her happy.

guys narusaku is my favorite pairing in this manga weather kishi made it canon or not. its deep and its beautiful . and i thought that NS would be the end game by far from reading this manga .but with this chapter i have to say its kinda got complicated . i mean sakura didnt speak with sasuke about team 7 she told him i loved u . and she asked him if he still care about her even by little in his heart. . and we have hagoromo saying a love different from his  mothers love (and it could be a mis translated ) 

 

 

and also we have hinata  naruto didnt solve her confession yet . i mean if kishi wants to end the manga soon these points might be a problem

 and if he is willing to continue it .  then it ok for NS i think . .i dont want to be a negative . but i dont want to lie to myself . .i still see NS has the chance .but also NH/SS has more chances than the last chapters. and also the open ending has a bigger chance now .. thats how i see it for now .

Right, because Naruto wasn't crying his heart out the first time he fought Sasuke at the Valley of the End.

Sasuke is not some reincarnation of evil. He is Naruto's brother. Nobody in Team 7 wants to fight him. He will be saved, just as Naruto has promised and made his life mission to be.
