This teamwork sucks. Only 2 person did the real work. I like sakura and all but there really is no point for her and kakashi to be there other than reaction shots.

Potential genjutsu maybe?

I am sure that now Kishi is slowly building that Sakura "arc" or something he said about. Because he did say that after Kakashi, Sakura comes next and we finally have genjutsu, the thing she is said to surpass Tsunade with, coming to fruition. :)

yes chatte and its gonna be enjoyable

Potential genjutsu maybe?

No because Sasuke can break out of the strongest genjutsu in the world and Naruto's relationship with the Bijuu make genjutsu useless on him.

Poor baby, just look at that sad face. This girl just can't seem to catch an emotional break. Why the kitten does Kishi keep doing this to her?!

Her expression in that second panel broke my heart. Poor girl.

She needs to stop caring about what Sasuke thinks. She deserves so much better than that.

I just didn't like the way she received the same treatment as karin, as hinata.

Should have learnt from the previous chapters I guess.

Maybe the genjutsu world will feel so real that she'll use a cheat code to hack the system and make herself gain another powerup in it, thus surpassing Tsunade. lol jk

What if in the genjutsu world, playboy sasuke came and asked Sakura to be his girlfirend? Then Naruto came and confessed his love and she would have to choose between them? Would Kishi end the pairing wars like that?

If kishi intent to end naruto in this year and skip narusasu fight, then that scenario can happen.

What the hell is wrong with sakura, why can't she forget about whether sasuke cares for her or not, Naruto is there for her every time.

I just hope kishi doesn't turn this moment around later by making sasuke say, i believed that u wont be hurt by that lowly attack or some other kitten. On second thoughts, that will be extremely stupid, I believe in you once again kishi, don't let me lose trust in your pairing sense this time. Give us more NS moments. :D

Listen even she doesn't love him romantically, she still thought he care about her as a former teammate. Remember Kakashi tell Sasuke: t the fact we were once team 7 doesn't change correct.

Sakura still care about Sasuke has a teammate and normally you have your teammate back, you don't tried to slash them in two. She feel kind of betrayed in that moment and it's quite logical. Before, with the multiple attempt of murder on his teammate, they were on different side. Now they're allies and he almost killed her without hesitation or remorse ( remember Danzo fight what he did to Karin). Her memories of Sasuke has a teammate is in part 1, where he seem to care about his friend.

So yeah, Sakura's reaction to me is logical because now, she know how low this guy got.

dude relax naruto has been known to charge in like that to a very good example was him charging obito when he was the juubi when seconds earlier he figured out only sage mode works on him

But Sakura isn't Naruto. Sakura, previous to this chapter, has shown to be smarter than this. The recklessness of that part almost seemed ooc to me, but I really did like the fact that even though she was scared out of her mind, Sakura still faced Madara down. THAT part was awesome....Now that I'm rereading this chapter, it's not as amazing as I first thought. I'm going to cut this short, but the fact that this chapter pretty much starts with Sakura popping out the byakugou, tells me that Kishi did that to either throw us a bone and get her out of the way for the main event that is NaruSasu vs Madara, or he has something else in store for her, and is going to hold her until the end. It's been a long time coming for Sakura; It feels like Kishi is always giving her the shaft. So I'm pretty skeptical about anything good coming her way.

I don't feel sorry for Sakura.....I'm sorry but why is she surprised? Atleast with Karin it made sense since Sasuke was the one who stabbed her and they were teammates and she trusted him, here none of that was present so it made no sense. Hell Naruto who cares about Sasuke as much as Sakura did was shocked when Sasuke actually defended him.

What Kishi is doing with SS is so confusing its starting to piss me off :smack:

I think now that the Eternal Tsukuyomi is activated, it will be much like the RTN! Maybe in Sakura's dreams she'll get acknowledgement/love or whatever she wanted from Sasuke, but there would be Naruto too. And Kishi will show how Sakura realized what is the truth which will make her realise her true feelings and the moment she realizes that, Naruto and Sasuke would break the genjutsu and when she awakens from the Tsukuyomi, she would really be over Sasuke once and for all and she will acknowledge her feelings for Naruto for she saw the truth in the genjutsu herself. This really means her feelings are resolved, doesn't it? Just my two cents on it!

So glad that we finally got to see Sakura using the full extent of the byakugo. Now any doubts about how far she can take the technique are finally cleared. I wish we could've seen her do more, but considering the circumstances there was not much a chance.

Her expression in that second panel broke my heart. Poor girl.

She needs to stop caring about what Sasuke thinks. She deserves so much better than that.

I'm pretty sure that's the reason Kishi put those panels in the first place. First you need to reintroduce the problem and then you can proceed to show the solution.

My guess, Sakura will be trapped in the infinite tsukuyomi in which her "dream" of being with Sasuke will come true. We know she doesn't love him like that anymore (675), but she has yet to realize it herself (540). The "dream" will take care of that problem.

It will probably involve a fake Sasuke being in love with her, but she keeps wondering why she isn't happy about it. She'll realize that she no longer needs to validate herself through Sasuke's opinion of her and that her feelings of love have changed towards friendship. At the same time she'll probably also realizes her love for Naruto and that his opinion of her has become what she truly values.

Then by the end of the manga after Sasuke becomes good again he'll probably acknowledge Sakura as a worthy teammate. That would give closure to the bond of Sasuke and Sakura. Sasuke can accept Sakura, and she can appreciate it even if she doesn't yearn for it anymore.

Agree with this from top to bottom but just a small point I'd like to add, I hope you won't mind it. Like you said but as soon as she realises where her true feelings lay, Naruto and Sasuke would break the Tsukuyomi and when she wakes up from the dream, her feelings for Sasuke would be resolved and she would come to face the fact that she really loves Naruto and he does matter to her more than Sasuke and rest as you stated.

I don't think it was surprise really. Just disappointment.I mean, if it was confirmed in the previous chapter that she at least sees it as her duty to save him still and still cares for him, then it makes sense that she would be disappointed that he feels the opposite when it comes to her. I'm pretty sure Sakura already realizes that Sasuke is no longer the same Sasuke who actually cared about her safety. That panel was just meant to reiterate that.
