Like I said, Sasuke lacks the speed. If Minato isn't fast enough, what chance does Sasuke have? Taijutsu is useless if you can't hit your target.

Well, you could paralyze him or slow him down. If you can't speed up, speed down your opponent. Just saying.

But he will have to get it too to do any damage against Madara. Remember, only sage mode chakra can damage Madara now and the Rinnegan alone is not Sage mode. We also have the jutsu or whatever that Hashirama gave Sasuke. So again there is the Sage mode Hashirama uses given to Sasuke freely.

I mean, if Kishi is just going to give Sasuke the Rinnegan anyway, why not?
 

Kabuto is giving him Senju DNA, Kubo can asspull that easily remember that Hashirama give him a secret power perhaps it's senjutsu.

True, I did take that into consideration. I was actually talking about the Izanami and how it cannot be dispelled unless you see yourself as you truly are. So in a sense it was like Kabuto was forced to be good if we were ever going to see him moving around again.

It'll make most sense if he dies. Gai is declaring that he'll die because he is going 8 gates, which guarantees death. Now, I'm saying it'll make most sense, not that it'll happen. There are so many plotholes already shh..this'll only be an add to the collection.

His dad committed suicide as a kid, he killed one of his own friends, his teacher died and this best friend whose ideals he idolized became evil and tried to end the world

Kakashi probably has one of the kittentiest lives in Naruto props to him for letting it affect him only in a positive way

I'm actually trying to figure out what kind of message the author is trying to deliver because showing that "everyone deep inside is a good person" or it can be redeemed i dont think it's working on this story, i'm getting more the impression that the author is tired and wanting to end it soon by simplifying the plot, because he's pretty much wrapping out everything, by taking away the roles and motivations of the villains, Orochimaru is not going to be a villain anymore, Kabuto with his home place, Sasuke with a talk with Naruto, Madara going to be redeemed, and Obito give up and accepted Naruto's fate.

Team Taka doesnt have any other purpose other than follow Sasuke, any branch of development Karin had, he destroyed by diminishing her role to a mere girl that wants to be Sasuke girfriend taking away the dignity of the character and destroying it.

 

Sakura it's not going to do any other thing aside from being a medic ninja and i think she doesnt have anything else to do other than be Naruto's wife at the end of the story.

 

I think that whatever the message he wanted to deliver in my opinion it wont make sense and it's damaged, at first i thought would be a story of determination and that with hard a work Naruto could surpass a genius (Sasuke) but Kishi killed that off by making Naruto the son of the previous hero and a kekkei genkai OP that allows him to keep going with hard work.

Then Second we have the whole "Peace" thing and how Jiraiya and other characters fought to resolve it but it was pushed aside by the main character and the conflicts werent esolved around it but rather on a mere dispute of "who's going to give up first".

 

 

Also i dont think Peace can work on a society that trains assassins since childhood (Ninjas), and has it's economy that works around it.

Every single bad man has his scars and his reason to be like that.

Every single bad man could be good if someone would listen to him.

 

Of course it would be more difficult in real life to "save" those bad guys and talk-no-jutsu them, but it's just the message Kishi wanted to show IMO.

It's a message of peace.

 

The message of determination is here too, since the beginning, and it never fade.

 

This thing about the ninjas' society is exactly what Naruto needs to work on if he wants to achieve peace.

Everything in the manga leads to a new era WITHOUT ninjas / WITHOUT fights.

 

I may be wrong, but this a the vibe I got from the manga.

I agree with all of this, but two things I have to add.

1. Unlike Naruto to Obito, Sasuke never inspired Kabuto to be good or to change. It was all Itachi. Itachi who sacrificed everything for Sasuke and still continues to do stuff for him to this day. Itachi who if he hadn't changed Kabuto probably wouldn't even be alive right now.

2. While there is a chance for Sasuke to gain the Rinnegan, and probably from a story stand point he will, just getting Hashirama's cells or something doesn't necessary mean he will unlock them. Hell, Obito was saved from death by Madara and brought back to life using Hashirama's cells, but he never unlocked the Rinnegan. However, chances are he will get them which really sucks because Sasuke is just that lucky to have such plot advancement and given to him so easily.

Not only that, but watch as Sasuke also gains the ability to use wood techniques AND use Senjutsu without having any training at all and yet be a complete master of both techniques.

This is always going to be the difference between Naruto and Sasuke. Naruto was the long hard path...and Sasuke's was the easy path where everything is just handed to him and he gains near infinite power for nothing. Never has to struggle for that power on any level and just gets it.

You know all this talk about Sasuke and Naruto unlocking the Rinnigan or the powers of the Sage, that I completely forgot that Obito now also could potentially unlock the Rinnigan as well, he's also got Uchiha powers and Senju powers and is on deaths door, with the Black Zetsu being the only thing keeping him alive, where before it couldn't happen because he didn't have Senju DNA, but now he does...but probably nothing will come from it, unless Kishi plans to give Kakashi the Rinnigan as well, (I'm guessing both eyes would be unlocked together as the flashback showed they are still linked somehow.

 

As someone mentioned before I can see the similarities between Kabuto and Sasuke, both had the person closest to them manipulated by Danzo, both lost actual family really early, both were manipulated by others most of their life, with Sasuke ITachi did it, then Orichimaru and then Obito, with Kabuto Danzo then Orichimaru...both lost the place they called home and both sought power for their own selfish reasons...and both were put on the right path by Itachi (though jury is still out on Sasuke).

 

 

Sasuke and his power-up been pissing off fans since 2000...Seriously what about him makes people what to give him power? Even the first and second Hokage, Really how did they conclude that he is just like Madara's younger brother? He gets too many freebies, loyalties of his old friends and new team, and powerful Ninja's, he gets their trust, doesn't need to earn it, and ofcourse the freebies he manages to master without training, and for some reason even if he's getting his arse handed to him the opponant always has to compliment him on is strength.

what kind of power-up is Naruto going to get? Obito ripped the Ichibi and Hachibi out but is he gonna give them to Naruto as well? is Naruto gonna have sand and ink manipulating powers?

 

even then I don't think its anywhere close to enough I mean they weren't even enough to pose a challenge to a normal blind Madara now he has the juubi's power in addition to his own all the tailed beasts (not just scraps of kyuubi and hachibi) and Hashirama's sage mode 

 

Naruto and Sasuke would both need to get a juubi level power up like Obito somehow and they still would be too far behind. oh let's not forget spiral zetsu and the giant buddha statue is still causing trouble pushing the alliance to the limit.

Hi guys! I'm new. Well, been reading the forum without making a account. Took me long enough. lol anyway...

 

Was Minato's arm growing back? It looked like it one of the panels. Also, why is it that some people seem so upset the the foot guy was Kabuto, when majority of us already figured it out. Kishi tries to throw us off, but we were right.  I think the NS moment, if any, will happen, not in the next chapter but, maybe one or two chapters away. BTW, will Sasuke gain the rinnegan, or the swirly eyes? I heard some people mention it.

I thought it was an okay chapter, it had some decent action as well. I too agree that there is potential for a great ns moment, and I hope it happens.

 

Also, with people saying Sasuke will get the Rinnegan, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!!!!! Because one: Kabuto DID NOT integrate Hashirama's DNA into himself, and two: Hashirama DID NOT give Sasuke some of his DNA, he gave Sasuke some CHAKRA FOR A JUTSU TO HELP STOP MADARA!

 

And besides, we all know it's going to be Naruto who will ultimately defeat Madara, because he 'Naruto' is the main hero character of the series. Although, I think Naruto may gain a power similar to the Rikudou Sennin, maybe a one-time thing, to defeat Madara with.

​Let me know if I'm wrong... because I could be remembering things incorrectly... but, didn't Kabuto take Oro into himself... and didn't Oro take Hashirama's DNA into himself? So Kabuto does have Hashirama's DNA?

 

But even that seems like too much of a stretch to me...
