you're too negative, guys... Don't forget that Naruto is on the verge of the death while Sasuke might just faking his death with a bunshin or genjutsu or something else. Besides we still don't know where Gaara's bringing Naruto... I doubt to Hinata, she has no utility for him
 
Furthermore, for Sasuke there's Karin and team taka.

Agree however the only thing negative i can think of is that the guy said that the one who she loves must be a great guy, if Sasuke defeats Madara, saves Naruto and the alliance right now which is going to be he will become a great guy too.

Could this be the coming back of the OVA?
Sasuke gaining new eye power, Naruto lying dead in Sakura's arms, and Kabuto plotting something?

Sort off, but it's funny the moment i think when Hashirama said "'im going to give a jutsu to you".
I would laugh if Sasuke replied.
"I already have many of them but getting more one it's never too much".

Not at all one of the paths I saw this chapter taking from last weeks cliff hanger :| And honestly, I can't tell what this chapter was for Sasuke... Still gonna take a genjutsu or PIS to actually cause Sasuke to have real feelings, ones for people not named Itachi or Naruto (I think?)

Did Hashirama just think Madara would surrender simply if Sasuke asked him to? Did I misunderstand anything?

 

I liked Tobirama's moments though, it's just not his time now. At least not for me. Madara too, was ranting. I thought Obito was the only one. <_< What he spilled out wasn't utterly kitten, but the message have been forced upon us too many times. I get the point already. Gaara's moments were good too. They just took too long, it didn't need to fill the entire chapter minus last page.

 

I hope this is not the new pattern. Cliffhanger in previous chapter, this chapter shifts focus, cliffhanger again..

We expected too much, but that is the author's intent. Cliffhangers purposely raises the standard of the next chapter,  and when it doesn't live up to it people will be disappointed.

Yep i forgot about that   so that means that the Sauce will indeed become the ultimate savior of this world and he will become the Hokage and then he will marry our cherry-blossom princes and  make out a lot of pinked harry Uciha babies to restore the clan and live happily ever after while lil bro Nardo fades away into the distance never to be mention again , yep this seems legit

Loved the chapter, and loved Sasuke getting stabbed. I just am not looking forward to the latter bringing up any worry for him in Sakura's Psyche. I want a NS moment already to be honest. The set up is good for either pairing though admittedly.

Well he's probably setting up their respective strength for their final battle. Or he lost interest in Naruto as the main character. To be honest the power ups Kishi gives Naruto do not satisfy me at times compared to the a**pull ones Ssuke constantly gets. And he expects us to believe Naruto will surpass or has surassed Hashirama at this point.

But I doubt that Sauce is powerful enough to do that all by himself. When Naruto regains consciousness + gets the other half of the Kyuubi (Minato's present), the two of them will be able to weaken Madara.. that's when Sasuke/Izuna TNJ might take place... In the end Sasuke will get his redemption, but not the girl.. since she's the last thing he wants.

I don't know about anyone else, but I didn't like Sasuke's attitude when talking to Hashirama. Hashi's like "Here, take this jutsu, it will help you," and Sasuke's like *Napoleon Dynamite voice* "Do it yourself! Gah!"

 

Who has time to argue about getting a free power up when your friend has just fallen on the field of combat? And what did Sasuke say? "The most I'll willingly do...." Sasuke is speaking to Hashirama with the same condescension Madara was speaking to the zetsus. 

 

He seems like he's still on his own side. He doesn't show any concern for Naruto, and instead moves right on to his bigger target, Madara. (And ultimately, if Sasuke's end goal now is to be Kage, then killing of Madara and ending the war, all while Naruto is out on his sick bed would be an opportune time to do it. Sasuke would get all the glory and credit while Naruto was out cold. Just a thought. (Would make a good fanfic too!))

 

I wasn't convinced we'd see Sakura this chapter. If anything, Kishimoto delights in doing what we least expect. And the times any shipping moments have happened, it's been tucked into chapters where we'd least expect it. And not when it seems most likely (like when Naruto is wounded or something). So I hope Gaara takes him to Sakura, but he may not. It has nothing do with what makes sense to the plot, but rather what Kishimoto wants to do. If he wants Karin to be the primary healer even though Sakura is the heroine/top medic, the Gaara will go to Karin and we'll all have to accept it. But still, fingers crossed we get to see Sakura next chapter.

But Sasuke wants to kill Naruto, so even if he's finishing Madara, he will still be the bad guy that wants to kill the hero. It was proved since his arrival like for eample when we see a picture in which he's cutting Naruto in half on the Team 7 picture.  So his redemption will have to wait. I just wonder how his will to kill Naruto will play out.

Hey guys am I the only one who doesn't like the idea of Sakura having to "choose" who to heal? I really think it's...out of character for her to think that, in the middle of battle, who to heal first? And I don't think she'd have much choice, really. I would really hate it if there was a whole "choosing" thing. But, at least I'm sure that Sasuke was just handed the power to heal himself by Hashirama, so he is covered...and I'm sure Orochimaru won't let anything happen to his precious Sasuke.

Been wondering where Gaara is taking Naruto, my first thought is Minato, because he had the other Kurama, but isn't he a bit busy? Also, Minato wouldn't be my first choice, nothing pairing related, I just want to see a Naruto WITHOUT Kurama inside of him. Not sure if Gaara will take him to the medics either. I want to know what Kurama said to him. And what the hell Sai?

You totally beat me to it with the above.  I was irritated at Sasuke (nothing new) for his condescension, but at the same time was not surprised.  Sasuke brings Shakespeare's words to mind once again, "I never can see him but I am heart-burn'd an hour after."

 

For a moment I was surprised at Hashirama, but then I realized he is locked in the past.  He is, very truly, like Naruto -- always wanting to believe the best in someone, willing to give and hope even when it is not warranted.  He wants to believe that Madara is reachable, redeemable, even after all this.  More proof that previous generations have failed where the current one will not, I suppose.

 

I remain somewhat mystified by Madara's motivation.  What was all the grandstanding about making a sacrifice to save another?  I can totally see him being angry with Sasuke for not being a proper Uchiha who stepped up to "do something" but Madara ought to know better.  If there's one trait of his people, it's that they do whatever they damn well please -- himself most of all.

 

Yeah, I didn't expect to see Sakura, either, but that's because I gave up trying to guess what Kishimoto is going to do a long time ago.  However, I did approach this chapter with the expectation that it would focus on Naruto, only to get... Sasuke.

I guess it's safe to say that all the bad guys get change of hearts in this manga. Same thing will happen to Sauce in the end: Naruto's been chasing after him throughout the whole story, trying to bring him back/save him & he'll succeed in the end.

Hm, did I miss something? I don't know why but are we seriously stuck in one topic that first of all, it's only the beginning for Sasuke and needless to say, jumping to conclusion as well as wanting to do a life or death situation moment? I don't even think about it nor see it. Why is it even needed? It's like we totally dismiss all options. The funny thing is we even left Team Taka, like sheesh, what is it that we want? I need to know because I'm like lost for once.
