I kinda gave some thought and to me it seems that this past half year by dragging on  with 2 volumes. It would have been better if the events that led to Madara ressurection would have been reduced. Like Minato's TNJ, Shikamaru's resolve and the Obito Naruto fight with less flashbacks, cliff hangers and such.

 

If Kishi wanted for Obito to mind controled at least Minato's TNJ could have been moved to this part.

Yeah I agree, there was way too much back and forth in Obito's fight and alot of random moments happened.

So I am guessing Sasuke and Naruto fighting for 2 days straight and taking down Juubito while Madara is fully rested counts as nothing?

Naruto has been fighting for a long time, Sasuke on the other hand just got there. But that's not the point, the point is that Madara is on a completely different level one that Sasuke will never reach.

Did anyone else notice how Madara blitzed Naruto even while he was in Sage Mode at the beginning of the chapter? I don't think anyone has ever actually been able to do that up until this point. This is the same power that allowed Naruto to outmaneuver the 3rd Raikage as he was using a V1 shroud. Anyone who can successfully take a senjutsu user by surprise deserves a place in the top 10 fastest rankings. This would put Madara ahead of the 3rd Raikage in terms of speed and that was before he received Hashirama's senjutsu.

He wasnt even on Sage mode and didnt even had the sharingan and still he managed to blitzed everyone, it' ssomething that happens by convenience i'm going to wait for further conclusions.

Yep Atheck i agree with you, let me share my thoughts about it.
The character so far got their powerups when they kept having goals.

Sasuke on the begining become stronger because he wanted his revenge when he fullfilled it, however he had another one, to destroy the leaf, his hatred and his powerfull desire kept giving his powerups and asspulls, and now he had another resolve which is something related to the shinobi world.

 

Naruto started trying to catch up with Sasuke, his desire to be kage and acknowledged, then he become stronger until Jiraiya died he had the goal of peace, he defeated Pain and was acknowledged by everyone, but then later he decided to stop running away from being a Jinchuuriki and gained another power up with his Kyuubi Mode.

 

Sakura, she reached her max potential on her vow of wanting to caught up with them[and sadly that's the only goal she had] and was shown satisfied with her role, unless Kishi gives to her another goal or resolution i would believe on a powerup.

 

Anyway being honest Sakura only has the team 7, this arc proved it with all the letters and even explained why kishi "she slipped my mind" because she's related to it, she's a main character and deserves more than that, she deserved on this arc to have a confrontation with Chiyo Baa and Tsunade dying for her to have  development when it comes to the fate fo the shinobi, it's more than common sense for her since she stands in the middle of Naruto and Sasuke's clash, to at least understand their motivations and has her own beliefs and pick Naruto's side because she beliefs the same rather than common sense.

 

Naruto and Sasuke got their resolutions about the Shinobi and as a main character Sakura deserved that too and she didnt received it.

 

TL;DR

A powerup or Sage for Sakura doesnt justify because she doesnt have motivations or goals to do so.

I remember an inteview someone actually mentioned beofore how Kishimoto said hewas going to focus on Kakashi.  That seems to be reaching the climax with dealing with Black Zetsu's possession of Obito. Kishimoto said he was going to focus on Sakura next.

Wouldnt be surprised if the focus for her was the yin seal and thats it.

He fought DMS kabuto before taking on the jubbito(Stronger than Madara) and with Naruto took it down. I am not saying Sasuke is on Madara's level but its not like this was a fair fight, yes Madara is blind but he is also 100% fully rested.

i know, i know. the part that kills me, is that kishi says 'he find it hard to see sakura as a heroine sometimes', he acknowledged the problem, but doesn't act on it. le sigh.

I think, power up in this manga usually happen when characters get a fight. thus I belive sakura will get a power up when she get a fight in the next arc. and sage mode is one of them.

and I think goal or resolution make characters have a role in manga/story and if it resolve, than his/her story would finish. ex: rock lee, rock lee goal is to become a ninja even though he can't use ninjutsu, then it test with his cripple state and solve when his operation success. thus why in part two he doesn't get more focus since his story already over.

 

then again it just my opinion and prediction, I could be wrong after all.

I don't think Sakura will get another power up, she just got the Yin Seal not so long ago, and since we're near the end, there are ver little chances she could get another. I believe it's possible for her to get a fight before the end of the manga, maybe even before the end of the War Arc, but it's unlikely for her to get a power up. There was a time, I believed she could gain Sage Mode, but the Yin Seal was for me, the last PU. So, what I mean is that, if she get for example Sage Mode, it would be too soon, regarding her last PU, the Yin Seal. Just look, how long have we waited for her to get a PU, or even a fight.... Since Sasori? Hundreds and hundreds of chapter for her to only get a fight, and when she got one iin 632, it wasn't evena real fight against an specifical opponent, she was showing her strength against littles Juubis (even if I found that scene so badass!)

 

So, yeah to me, it's very unlikely for Sakura to get another PU before the end of the manga. But it's just my opinion, and who knows maybe I will be pleasantly surprised?

but if it straight to naru vs sasu fight than no PU for sakura. thus why I think and belive in the next arc there would be a training arc for naruto, sakura, and to some extent sasuke.

I belive that :

1. naruto will learn fuinjutsu and more of his clan from some uzumaki elder.

2. sasuke will gain rinnegan by eating chakra2 no mi or getting it from orochimaru using the same method to gain CS level 2 by injecting hashirama dna just like how he did it to yamato. and maybe get a CS level 3.

3. sakura will learn slug sm and/or genjutsu and/or maybe elemental ninjutsu from kakashi(since kakashi the one who teach elemental ninjutsu).

 

That's what I believe, if it doesn't happen than it doesn't happen.

I am not sure Sakura will get any more power up in the near future , as for Sasuke and Naruto , both their power ups are now on the battlefield in my oppinion .  For Naruto most likely is the 2nd half of Kurama's chakra from his father .

 

After last chapter , seeing blind Madara , Sasuke's likely power up could be Madara's eyes and by consequence rinnegan . It could be actually why he and Orochimaru joined this war , seeing as Orochimaru should be aware that Madara has the rinnegan and that that is the final stage of the sharingan . Both of them would be interested in obtaining those eyes . Sasuke because he is power hungry and  for Orochimaru , to get Sasuke's body with rinnegan as eyes  , would make him immortal , which is what has always been his goal .
