That's true. So wait it came from DB. Hm, curious, but did that age length only happened to Team 7 as in 15-16 or some of them got that.Databook but it's outdated.
But funny is that all the three are maturing, i mean Sasuke is not being manipulated anymore, Naruto made his choice, the only thing missing is Sakura.

Sakura might even be Obito's Yahiko.
With that I mean..
Nagato went evil because of a lot of things, but Yahiko was the primary reason. He found hope in a "new" Yahiko, Naruto. Obito might do the same, maybe through Naruto's words? Sakura is capable of TnJ, but I think this is Naruto and Obito's thing.
In my opinion, the TnJ will involve; Naruto being successful in his dreams and Sakura, the "new" Rin. The two are connected because after all, Sakura is the girl of his dreams.
Not so soon. The last 100 chapters have been for two days. The war is going slow in terms of timeline.
And btw, how are the Kages going to get inside the barrier? They'll be trapped outside. : (
If Sakura does join in the TnJ, Obito will know that--just like Rin--she loved someone else and use it against Naruto. But then this could also set up a scene where she can counter Obito's claim that "a girl's feelings can change" and that you'd never know, maybe Rin fell in love with Obito before she died (Kakashi could confirm this as well when HE FREAKING GETS BACK FROM CUBE-WORLD) and through that she could hint and FINALLY get Naruto to see and believe that all that she's said back in the Land of Iron were very much true.
I don't blame the dude for doubting though, he has his reasons from his love for her being sensitive, used to and resolved with the fact she may never return his feelings all the way to not really absorbing the concept of a shift of feelings that deep, since he can't do it himself.

The TnJ will probably not involve a girl's changing feelings. It might be mentioned because Obito is not open-minded(just like Naruto) regarding his love interest's feelings. "Rin loved you to her last breath, Kakashi!", "but Sakura loves Sasuke so much!". I say they are not open-minded because Obito didn't see Rin after his "death" and Naruto is basing his opinion of Saku>Sasu all on part 1. This is confirmed through the flashback in the confession, and Naruto never saw any interaction between them that hinted at her feelings for him in Shippuden.
I realized I was just rambling now so..back on topic;
The problem was never the friendzone. Obito was never bitter about Rin not changing feelings. It was Obito who failed to confess to Rin(Naruto wants to confess to Sakura), he failed to protect Rin(Naruto wants and have so far successed in protecting Sakura). The latter is definetily the most important one. His world fell apart when Rin died, his dreams were crushed along with her and Naruto will probably talk about the strength to not fall. Naruto has still not sucessed in confessing to Sakura, but he has protected her. For the TnJ to function, Naruto has to know what Obito feels in these aspects.
Sakura telling Obito that a girl can change her feelings will not make much of a difference. If she is going to speak for Rin, it would be how she died protecting her village on her own free will. Because we all know Sakura's ninjaway is all about protecting her friends. Maybe she can understand a bit more than Obito what Rin did and what Rin would've said if she was alive.

That's why i said he would never confess his feelings for Sakura, Sai did that and it was an huge push towards NS, i mean he broke the hardest barrier which was Sakura never knowing about Naruto's feelings because he believe it would be on her way of "happiness".
You know very well about that, Obito was going to confess, inst the same as Naruto, he bought flowers and went to confess but stepped on his close minded about Kakashi.
Just the fact that Sai confessed Naruto's feelings for Sakura proves a lot of things to me.
Obito failed to protect Rin because he was dead, it was not his fault that she chose to die.

Databook 3 puts their ages just as 16.
I think someone mentioned that in a character profile of the official anime web page they put it as 15 at the start of Shippuden but I've never seen said page. Maybe their ages at the start of Part 2 gets mentioned in some author's notes that appear in some volumes although I haven't heard of that either.
Don't overthink the timetable. I don't think even Kishi cares that much about it. He just wants people to know that time is progressing without going into any specifics.

I've noticed how much Road to Ninja is paralleling with the manga recently, so my thought is what if Kurama comes out, and Naruto rides on top of him to fight against Mock Sage Obito. It's a stretch, but you never know what kishi has planned for the upcoming chapters.

Sakura: Naruto, you're now the oldest one here, besides Sai
Or
Sakura: Ha, Naruto, you're now 17 yet I am still the oldest. Really...
Or
Kakashi: Hm, Naruto is older than you, Sakura.
Sakura: Yeah, but his mind is still in question.
Naruto: Sakura-chan...
Or something.

Virtually zero comments on how beautiful Naruto's love for Sakura is.
EDIT: I guess it just makes me a bit annoyed when people think that Naruto is obligated to love Hinata.

I looked at all the comments on The Naruto episode where Naruto admits his love for Sakura and, although it's filler, most of the comments are just, "what about poor Hinata?" Or "I'm so mad that Naruto won't open his eyes to Hinata!" -.-

I know exactly how you feel, but remember some of those people might be anime only viewers. So to them they might think it's cannon, but just imagine how people are gonna react when Chapter 631 gets animated.

So, just a comment that all three members of the Namikaze-Uzumaki family are represented in this battle, there's of course, Naruto and Minato, but also Kushina through Kurama (both in similar fur/hair color, although Kurama's a more orange-ish fiery red. And also in her status as Kurama's former jinchuuriki.) It's only now, I realized it, after that image of Kushina appeared near the end of the chapter and Obito saying that the next day is Naruto's birthday.... That's cute! The Family's gonna attempt to finish a short war that united the Shinobi world together!
Awww...., Naruto's turning 16!

I had the same thought this chapter, with the revelation that the next day is Naruto's birthday. If I remember correctly, it was his birthday at the end of RtN as well -- and Iruka remembered, surprising Naruto with a cake.
Liked the father/son interaction this chapter. And Kurama is great. Him saying, "begging myself for help is weird" made me laugh.
Also? Sasuke basically standing there flat-footed, his mouth hanging open while he mentally tries to catch up, was the best part.

There's something that bugs me a little about RTN. We see in the prologue that the setting is in July (look up the page where Naruto is playing cards). And then they celebrate Kushina's birthday in the RTN world, which is July 10. But when Naruto comes home it's only been a few hours.
Iruka ordered a cake for him, but it would be strange because it's not Naruto's birthday at all. So, the question is, does the RTN world take place at the same time as the real world, only with different pacing?. Or is this another one of Kishi's retcons?
The family that couldn't be.

Does it says it's Naruto's birthday at the end of Road to ninja? I actually didn't pay much attention to it, if not then it's just a cake.
Otherwise it's just a normal plot hole.....of a plot hole.

**WARNING. INCOMING RADICAL THEORY**
Plot hole or fridge brilliance? Imagine a world you are thrown into that grants any wish you desire. A world based on your own mental heaven of sorts. Now imagine in this world you want it to be your birthday. The world changes to that day no matter what time of the month it is. Sort of like "Christmas every day" story plots that happens a lot.
or Imagine if one day at the very moment you wanted cake, Bam, someone so happens to have a cake right there.
The world itself is not based around the rules of the real as this world brings loved ones "back to life" or even changes your life entirely and everyone around you. A world that bends to your whim and whatever you wish to have in it.

Yeah I know but I was talking about the real timeline set in Road to ninja, not the AU.
It's July in the prologue but when Naruto comes back from the AU world, Iruka shows up with a birthday cake, even though according to Sakura's parents, they have been away for few hours.
Now in the AU world it looks like they spent more than just few hours, I would say 2 days max? But we do know for sure that it's still set in July because of Kushina's birthday.
So time flows differently in both worlds, it's sorta like the time and space chamber in Dragon ball Z.
Now the question is whether the cake Is a lie or not
