Yup, the Minato=Baka theory is canon!

I think we'll still see some more, and I also think another parallel, aside from the one of Rin, is set up for Sakura in this battle XD

I need that Buzz Lightyear parallel pic right now. Lol. Kushina wasn't really dumb. When you think about it, judging by flashback, she never shows it. The only thing she shown was easy temper and got that joking part (ex. asking if taking out the baby hurts like hell). I feel like Minato thought about what he said and probably come up, "Like father, like son, huh..." So doing the math, yeah, Minato knows where he got the stupidity from now. Hilarious.

It takes writing skills to make a character dumb and smart at the same time. I'm glad Kishi took his time to explore Minato's character.

I enjoy Minato's character in general he's badass , strong , has long and funny names for his techniques , he's Naruto's dad , made rasengan , soloed obito . ^^

Well the Light Kyubi is inside Naruto and the Dark Kyubi is inside Minato as we've seen.

 

But Mangastream makes it sound like Naruto impressed/convinced Dark Kyuubi while Mangapanda makes it sound like the other half is impressed, aka Light Kyuubi.

This is why I like Naruto, character and series. It's not like Super Saiyan, where there's no such thing as extra perk that differs from the higher state.

 

 

Still, I would not like Naruto in the beginning when shinobis started  use more supernatural powers, but in the I accepted them and  now  I almost reading the end of this manga. I think NaruSaku keep me to read it.

Hmm... since Senjustu is the only way to hit Obito , I wonder if somebody ( maybe Orochimaru ? ) will ask Kabuto for help since he is the only other person known who have the senjustu power.

 

Oh my bad , there is also Hashirama. And I think that's why Madara is currently fighting with him. Maybe he knew that only senjustu could defeat Obito , and he don't want Hashirama to use it against Obito.

 

If only Sakura could use senjustu , she would have more screentime

It's funny how much more parallel we are getting out of Naruto/Minato. Remember how long ago, we always say Naruto/Kushina easily. Sure, they do share some stuff, but it's just funny that we are now seeing more of the first. I guess that's why Hiruzen got taken out since we know enough. Hashirama surprised many with his goofy, easily depressed, and what not. Tobirama is proven to be the serious one and really straight forward to tell you that you're idiot. Pretty much, he doesn't care what you feel, he tell it how it is. Minato is now seen to be a guy who is smart, but does stupid thing such as naming a jutsu and thinking it sounds cool. I hope we can explore a little more with Kushina. I don't care if it's asspull, bring her back.

Minato's more subtle in his goofiness compared to Kushina and Naruto.  Kinda like a geeky-goofy, "I'm serious about everything but OMG, you just brought up my favorite topic, here's my 100 reasons why it's AWESOME!" while Kushina and Naruto are pretty hot-blooded, in general.

I want to know this too. the drawing showed of a ominous pressence regarding the dark kyuubi but his words in mangastream are confusing. Did dark kyuubi got convinced that Naruto is a decent human or did he refer to his other half.

We have been saying the Minato aspects of Naruto are more dominant because of the times we see others compare him to Minato. Kakashi did it twice (first when Naruto comes in to face Kakuzu, second when he sees the tailed beast mode cape) Jiraya (he himself said thats why I say he resembles Minato more and keep in mind Jiraya himself is a parallel towards Naruto), Tsunade though she compared Naruto to Kushina, she also saw him like Minato when he came to her before he faced Pain, and even Ay compared Naruto to Minato in both the ordeal of the savior and for being a faster ninja than himself.

 

Kinda funny how Jiraya as a parallel himself advocates a parallel on a parallel, kinda like how Kushina set another one up. Its true Minato was a genius but he maybe got too excited over things too much just like Naruto.

 

As for the current events I see it like this:

 

1. I had speculated that perhaps if Edo tensei was hit with enough force basically, it could destory it. Though this sounded unusual, its true now. Before he was nailed Hiruzen said it was a combination of at least 4 natures. Kinda like how the particle style was earth, wind and fire: this deadly style used by Ohnoki and his sensei Mu, it was designed with Earth to consitute the physical matter and mass, wind for the rapid rotation and grinding effects, and fire for essentially burning away a physical structure molecule by molecule. With Obito's Yin-Yang style which allows creation and destruction, this is essentially able to disable the regeneration of the edo tensei.

 

2. Hiruzen is not entirely known right now as we have not seen him but last he was hit with a devastating attack and we find out today that edo tensei is nothing different to Obito now. Rather losing a limb is just painless to the edo hokage but they cannot regenerate it. But this gives us a good question, Obito nailed Hiruzen while he was a mindless weapon. So was if Hiruzen is really gone or not it remains to be seen but there is a good amount of debate already if he was nailed by a 4-style element or if it was the yin-yang release that breaks edo tensei.Though I feel bad if he has been offed, like Kakashi tsunade would have missed out on a good reunion, even Ohnoki would have gotten a minor reunion too. I mean when the hokage were revived, it opened up so many possibilities, obviously Naruto and Minato are working together, that was expected, Sakura at least got praise from Hashirama knowing that at least there was a connection of Hashirama-Tsunade-Sakura in that short time. But come on, let Kakashi see his sensei, Tsunade should at least get to see Hiruzen as well just once but if he is dead oh well, guess Obito steamrolled him. Unless there are any more living zetsu lying around, not really going to be able to recall him.

 

3. "dark kurama" as we can call him kinda like from RtN, not expecting the same ordeal or an "evil side" but remember this: In the Naruto universe chakra is as much a part of the individual as it is their source of power. Throughout the series we have seen that chakra has different volumes, signatures, frequencies, and feels. Aside from being the primary source of all ninja techiques to both an individual and the mass amount of beings in the Naruto world, its something used for giving shape to techniques such as a simple transformation, the shpere shape to a rasengan, and even something massive like the Sussano. Its also moldable with natural elements like fire, wind, and so on. Chakra can be infused with elemental energies by the person holding an element or another form of a source. As Chakra has different amounts of volume such as Naruto having a ton compared to Sakura or Kakashi who have a more around a normal setup (though Sakura's reserve could have increased greatly due to the seal) chakra also has signnatures that others can recogznie, both by occular powers like the sharigan and byakugan or from sensor ninja like Karin. The chakra can also have different feelings, Narutos was said to be warm and full of life, literally showing it when Yamato's wood spires were growing leaves, Sasuke's was called dark and cold. Zabuza once called Kurama's chakra absolutely foul and sinister, happened many times in the series both in the manga and anime even fillers when its been enough to scare people to freak people out or make them speechless. Chakra is also however an extension of one's self. What I mean is, look throughout the series, though the main kurama is in Naruto, his chakra is also an extension of his influence. Orochimaru himself best displays this when he was revived, though Itachi sealed him, his conciousness remained alive in Anko, basically he had another reserve of chakra he could be revived with. We have seen it with both Minato and Kushina with their persona left in Naruto's stomach seal. Even the chakra rods Nagato and Madara use are extensions of forced will manipulation, as when Madara forced obito to use the rinne tensei, his right half turned black, black zetsu was basically madara's fill in and watchdog until he was revived. Obito being part zetsu also had this inplanted in him and was subject to Madara's will. In other words with this new Kurama, it possesses part of his influence but also the rage side that has stuck with Minato ever since he was sealed into the reaper. Kinda like how Naruto faced his dark side, Kurama may face his own. There is a valid reason for this, Kurama was an entity based entirely on hate, anger, and fear. Ever since the sage died Kurama and the rest of the tailed beasts came to hate humanity because they were always seen as monsters and sources of power. The sage was the only human Kurama would ever respect until naruto turned him. Now Kurama may end up facing his own hate he carried for many centuries between the sage and until he was sealed into Naruto.

 

3. Sakura slug sage mode- while its true many fans, even non-Sakura fans have debated this, many actually wanted to see it so it could be a complete triad again between the toads, snakes, and slugs. Woundn't hurt to have one female sage either. But Naruto and Jiraya were toad sages and Orochimaru and Kabuto were snake sages. Hashirama possesses a unique one. but it seems more likely that Sakura would have the strength of 100 technique. The deal with Sakura's power right now is a funny one, she can be be about or possibly a bit stronger than Tsunade at base without activating the seal just due to how she does not need to set a portion aside and how she can use it perfectly without aging or cutting her lifespan down but its kinda a funny enigma right now, I mean like Kakashi, Guy and Gaara I would expect her to be around their power level for now, maybe a bit higher. Anyways for Sakura to step into battle, well the sage mode would be the only way but I doubt it would be coming just due to how we see her power as succeeding from Tsunade. Any future power from Sakura remains unknown at this point, she will get more scenes hopefully but thats more likely when the 5 current kage come in.

 

4. Tobirama is a badass at least, its his attitude that makes him a neat fighter when doing stuff like he did with Naruto in today's chapter.

 

5. Hashirama and Madara are still having their lovers quarrel, so its still going to be a bit before Madara's weapon against obito is ready.

 

6. Any news on kakashi or Yamato? Guess they are both just locked up sadly. kakashi: "I was stuck in another dimenson for a while" Yamato: "I was a god damned garden plant for over 150 chapters! Thanks a lot jerks!" Oh Yamato better give a scary face when he returns.

 

7. Obito is going to be OP, thats true. before you know it he will make it so he can turn a devastating sussano into a pile of kittens by mere thought.

 

8. On a serious note, Minato will gain some singificant development after seeing all Obito did on the night he died. But it was stuff like the hokage speech Naruto knew all too well, Obito had no idea what he was talking about due to how he never became hokage or what the title truely meant. Naruto does know it perfectly well as it was his desire to protect his home and friends and especially after what Itachi told him.

 

Alas lets see where the story moves from here.

I mean Jiraya called Minato a genius but really enjoyed having Naruto around and felt like his grandson. Also right now the idea of inventing the sexy no jutsu feels like it comes from Minato's side rather than Kushina's. Maybe Minato was a prankster too in his youth. But did you feel like Obito was accusing Minato of not keeping his word/promises?

I have a feeling Minato wasn't a prankster himself, but Kushina got him into a lot of trouble. Because the pranks were her idea, but she tempted Minato and he joined in.

Don't know what Sakura will do but thing is she has a place in all of this, especially now. Either Kishi finishes the 3 way deadlock and makes team 7 in team sage or she joins Naruto in a sage mode. As a side note I want to mention that Juugo being kept in reserve IS A BAD IDEA.

Now there's also genjutsu, but until now she wasn't show employing it and we all assume she is a good anti genjutsu fighter and unless Obito starts placing Naruto and company in genjutsu ( one that even Kurama can't escape from) she can't really help in this department.

 

Now lastly I wonder if it's possible that the skills she learned from Tsunade could be something else other than either senjutsu or ninjutsu so that she could help.

You should remind about Tsunade's comment, Naruto was like his mother when he was younger, taking bad scores and showing no talent for ninjutsu.

But as when he grows up he became more like his father, Tsunade said that hundreds of chapters ago.

I don't think Kabuto has sage mode anymore because Oro took his Chakra and Dna from him.
