Sasuke won't betray Naruto - they were never on the same path to begin with. He's got his own agenda, and if Naruto is going to be an obstacle, he'll knock him out of the way.

I'm sure there was an interview where Kishimoto said he wanted Sasuke and Naruto to go down different paths from the very beginning of the manga. The irony is both essentially want the same thing. The major difference is while Naruto wants to change and understand people, Sasuke just wants to do everything by force.

Killing Naruto is probably how he thinks is the easiest way to kill the old system. For all we know, if he's the strongest guy around, he doesn't need to become Hokage, he could be whatever autocrat he wants to be (daimyo?).

Sasuke doesn't seem to hate the village anymore, he just hates the whole system that turns everyone into enemies. Kishimoto has just shifted his goals so that it matches Naruto's, probably to highlight the contrast between how they're willing to reach that goal.

So why aim Naruto and not the daimyo? he targets Naruto and his friends aswell and everyone on the village which do also mirrors to the whole village again.

If he still wants to keep on this road is because he still hates something, he hates Naruto, he can blame the shinobi system but still hates the village and the shinobis to a point he still seek to kill them, much like Madara dont you think?

He in the end hated the hashirama and blamed everyone because of the loss of his brother, that's why i said he doesnt have a clear objective because his role after all is still to oppose Naruto no matter what, he doesnt need to kill Naruto or erase his past to fullfill whatever objective he has in mind.
He wants to kill the bijuus, he wants to kill everyone now, so it's the emo hatred again.

 

i'll change the shinobi world by killing everyone even the bijuus, which mirrors to what Obito said earlier about someome else wanting to do the same thing he's doing now again, Sasuke is only there helping Naruto because he wants to be the one to destroy the world not Obito.

Just because Sasuke and Sakura are in the same panel doesn't mean they're SS shippers. Even if..so what? As long as the translation is fine, it's no biggie.

I think he'll be neutral in appearance, but somewhat surprised inwardly.

Wary ? Like Naruto studying his skills or something ? Could be, but I don't think Sasuke will be wary though.

I agree. I don't blame him. It would be a miracle for anyone to be completely in their right mind after such a tragic past. Tragic events like that can forever change people and how they view the world.
