And in this week it's the turn of NH about screaming "Canon!!" :lmao:

I enjoyed the chapter... I still don't like how Sasuke have magically took out snakes summoning... Wasn't Manda dead? Who's the kittening is that snake?

Sasuke summoned Katsuyu, it seems... But she wasn't with Tsunade the last time that we have seen her?

This chapter is the chater promised by Kishimoto in the interview where he said that each rookie will shine during the war. And he did it.

Ehi, that panel where Naruto and Hinata are holding hands and Naruto smiles to her (without Chakra mode) was just some mental image from Hinata, right?

Kabuto summmoned Manda I believe afterwards so apparently not

Maybe. I cant recall off the top of my head

Naruto smiles at all of his comrades.

He sure as hell doesn't call all of them his girlfriend though

sorry I just couldn't resist

Kiba and Ino-Shika-Cho really impressed me. Shino is slacking, though. Team 7's triple summoning at the end was also cool but I have to wonder if Sakura summoned Katsuyu. Naruto summoned Gamakichi rather than Gamabunta (always did want this to happen. Like a partner kind of thing. Jiraiya has Gamabunta and Naruto has Gamakichi) and Sasuke summoned some new snake, so I'm wondering if this is another slug summoning.

Sai kind of got shivved though. He went in there all "I'm Team 7 too" and the Juubi was like "lolnope". Still atleast he was shown doing something productive unlike Lee and Tenten. And for the love of god, Hinata please stop with your Naruto inner monologues! It's so annoying that every time she speaks it's about "Naruto-kun". She needs to stop with the worshiping!

i understand you guys are trying to seperate Romantic pairing moments from general development but in Hinata's case it cannot be seperated.

Her development is always, ALWAYS about Naruto (not always directly but any development she gets Naruto is there somewhere), and her wanting to get Naruto's acknowledgement and love. Basically what Sakura was to Sasuke but much much worse.

IMO, kishi is doing this to Hinata on purpose, he's making a mockery out of her character. Who thinks about romance in the middle of a war, let alone against an enemy that threatens complete oblitoration?

I really REALLY want some lee and ten ten. They have so much potential. Does Tenten have the weapon of the sot6p?

I think Hinata is supposed to represent how people now look at Naruto, and how he changes people..in a brutal way. XD Because Kishi uses Hinata to constantly remind us of it.

Great chapter, just noticed that it's Minato that is commenting on Naruto's Fuuton RasenShuriken and not Sasuke

So this means Minato doesn't remember their chat in the Pain arc.

I like Sai, seeing him fail like that wasn't fuun D: !!

I hope he'll do something cool soon.

I'm sorry, it's wrong to criticize Hinata and her one dimensionality? I'm very happy she's becoming stronger and moving forward, but I dislike how she sucks inspiration from Naruto so frequently like a leech or something.

Hinata gaining confidence from Naruto is cute .... but not if it's every time. It gets old and it gives off the impression that she's dependent and can't draw strength from herself. Not a good trait to have for a would-be leader of her Clan.

If I see a flaw of a character, I believe I have the right to make note of it.

So long it's not pairing talk, I don't blame you.

Before Team Gai's line, sigh. I'm tired...I guess that's why opinion excuse exist. Please tell me you don't think it's revived...

Indeed. Granted the other volume was all about them, the thing is they didn't show any new attacks, and here, they did. So yeah, now I'm satisfied.

He can't bring back Jiraya.. To perform Edo Tensei you need a part of the dead (their flesh), and Jiraya has drowned too low.

Maybe Suigetsu is going swimming for him. :fu:

Agreed. I was annoyed with Hinata have MORE jutsu. LOL But that's minor. Didn't ruin the chapter. I just think she needs to see NS because clearly, her tunnel vision is cloudy. I also guess she didn't hear that comment Naruto made. Kishi continues to play with couples, but I thought he'd be done with NH since it's so one sided and continues to be just that.

I was actually happy to see her finally get 64 palms. One step closer to becoming a leader for the clan! With Neji gone, she really has to step up, and so far she hasn't let me down.

I do wish she would give Neji more thought, but the development of a side-character can only go so far. Naruto will always been the one that she draws her strength from, so it makes sense for her to find encouragement from him again in this moment. It's just too bad that she hasn't been able to draw the same kind of strength from other characters, like her team, Kurenai, or her family. I'd like to see her fight with them in mind, instead of just Naruto.

I mean, Sakura didn't narrow her thoughts down to Sasuke when she revealed White Australia. She was thinking about both Naruto and Sasuke, and also Tsunade, and she gave credit where it was due. I'd like to see Hinata do the same, but at this point, it might be too late for that. We're so far along in the series, and I don't think the Rookies are going to have much more of a role going forward. At least, not until the Juubi is dealt with.

hinata "i always by naruto side" = stalker hinata

case closed, now move on.

But your interactions with Naruto consist of less than ten conversations usually initiated by yourself. Most of which are related to psychological conditions during/before a battle. Were you around when Naruto was being degraded and mocked by others as he was growing up? Or when he was admitted to the hospital and was emotionally forlorn by his closest companion's betrayal for the sake of walking down a desolate and malignant path of darkness? Sakura may not have been the kindest person to Naruto when he was younger but as she began to comprehend who he was by interacting with him during their time together as Team 7 she grew to respect and cherish his company to such a degree that he is now her closest friend.

Honestly, Hinata deserves applause for what she has done for Naruto but if anyone has always stood by his side it would be Sakura (and maybe Kakashi, Sai, and Shikamaru to a lesser extent as well).

Dude it wasn't a romantic NH moment it was a Hinata moment. Did she blush??? Did she even thought about Naruto in a romantic light??? Kishi is showing it clear that her character is not romantic is about getting confidence to become a stronger and better person. Naruto inspired her but there is no romance in her development.

I'm not talking about her in a pairing sense. I'm just absolutely sick of her not being capable of anything without Naruto on her mind. It's....pathetic. She has zero independance and drive to better herself as person.

Meh. LOL I'm actually tired of looking at her constantly. XD It's nice that she did learn it and you have a point. :P

True. At this point, it's pretty much just Naruto and a repeat of every other moment where he pushed her but that "always by my side" comment is a bit much IMO because it's a lie.

Exactly! Sakura thought about the reasons why she wanted to get stronger, and how she didn't want anyone Naruto and Sasuke fighting her battle. She wants to fight beside them, and that extends way further than what Hinata has shown given Sakura does what she can for multiple people but it has mostly been Naruto. Her reach is way further than the girl with Tunnel vision. -_- LOL

I strongly believe it's mistranslation, 615 raw doesnt show "being at my side all the time", i think thye made it to sound more impactfull.

i felt more that she said "i was at his side" because of his acknowledgement.

You know I kinda suspected that too last week, but I don't want Tsunade to die and if he did it would probably be at that moment that Orochimaru turns against the leaf (and possibly Sasuke?) again.

(Even though it could provide an interesting fight: Jiraiya vs. Minato and Naruto, teacher vs. disciple)

And if one of the sannins is fighting against the alliance all of them will I think. That means Tsunade to and the only way for that to happen imo is if she's revived with edo tensei.

so I pushed the theory aside ^^
