I don't see where she says this. All I saw was, she doesn't have to waste the diamond seal on worrying about her appearance like Tsunade does. That's pretty much it.

 she doesnt need to use it it's different than saying that she's not using anything to make her look younger.

It's bad writing for me... i'm disappointed with it.

I know what you mean. It's frustrating, but you should know by now that Kishi's gonna milk this pairing thing 'till the end.

And she was definitely blushing. It wasn't dirt or scratches because the marks on her face are like, perfectly symmetrical and in the next panel, they look different. There's no point in denying it.

I'm not saying this was an SS moment or anything, so don't get scared. A bigger SS moment is bound to come, anyway, so prepare yourselves for that. We got an NH one, so SS will come soon. But we all know where NS stands, so don't be frightened.

Yeah, every time Tsunade releases the Yin seal it shortens her lifespan, which is why she looks so old. Luckily, Sakura won't have that problem.

Let's talk about Sakura's powerup.

 

 

As soon as the seal formed she became FAR more powerful. This Yin seal is basically permanent sage mode, until she releases the seal that is.


I predict that Sakura is going to take the Yin seal a step forward and add her own improvement to it. Perhaps super speed? Maybe using it for a new jutsu she's been working on? I still hold by my old theory that by storing up a large amount of chakra she could emulate a massive chakra supply and draw in nature energy. She might be doing it already considering how similer the Yin seal's power up is to sage mode.

People are never happy... *sigh* If "Sasuke-kun" is going to be the focus of the discussion, then I think I'll stay away from here this week. This chapter was supposed to be all about Sakura proving herself, and we should be happy about that.

 

I find it really disheartening to see so many instead pointing their fingers at one panel. A panel that has nothing to do with the chapter itself. It gets right under my skin too, because the last thing this chapter was supposed to be about was pairings. It's about Team 7, and Sakura finally being able to stand proudly beside her other two teammates. Please, please, please, please, please don't take that moment away from her over pairings. Please.

 

We already know that Sakura loves Sasuke. We already knew that some SasuSaku was on it's way. We also know that she has feelings for Naruto. We've established this over the past ten+ years. So stop.

 

I hope that this doesn't happen again next week, because frankly, I'm tired of having to defend any positive moments for Sakura, Naruto, and NaruSaku from my own fandom.

Ah see I was under the impression that anytime she used it it ate some of her lifeforce hence why she looks like kitten for 50. I mean seriously compare her to pervvy sage.

The fact is that when Tsunade it it exausted her and she could not maintain the jutsu that makes her look younger and the difference is that when Sakura exaust it the way she spoke gives the impression that if she exausts like Tsunade the jutsu won't fade.

Her speed already got a HUGE boost since she dashed ahead of Naruto who is arguably the fastest barring Minato. I still think there will be some slug jutsu. Seriously Kishi drew the chick on top of a huge slug. I still like the idea of her having little slugs on her, Naruto and Sasuke's shoulders constantly giving them little Creation Rebirths/Healing.   GIMMIE.

Was the term "Hyakugou" an accurate translation or was Shizune referring to something else? Visually this technique appears exactly the same as the Yin Seal but taking into consideration that Sakura did not attack the Juubi replica before materializing the seal it appears that it may have contributed to her strength. If that is true then would it be possible for Sakura's abilities to be heightened even further if the contents of this seal could be unleashed entirely?

About SS it lacks affirmation, the chapter itself cant be taken seriously it's full of comic and stuff that makes for jokes, just look at Naruto's face when he arrives and even making Sakura to be saved is a comic moment too.

I really would not say that, remember unlike 615, 631 had the sakura Kushina stuff. Sakura acting like that, it's just very small, she was not focused entirely on him either, remember how it was naruto she gave the determination talk and stare down too.

Not really alarmed by this, this chapter was more about her progress as a ninja, not pairing stuff. Does this set us back, not really, how can our ship sink just because he says her name? Remember, Kishi still cannot just fill the void of all these years with Sasuke never showing interest in sakura, ns still is the same. Blush or not, it's not like sakura cannot change, she can. There is still a lot of ammo left for ns. Now more then ever I can sense the forehead stuff from naruto later on.

Exactly! Sakura's Yin seal should surpass Tsunade's. I know Kishi is planning some thing unique for Sakura.  The Yin seal itself is a good start, but we've already seen this with Tsunade. So the real question is : What sort of twist did Sakura add to her Yin seal.

Yup! Tsunade uses techniques that actually eat away at her years when she suffers extremely terrible blows. In her fight with Orochimaru, and then Madara, those were the times her jutsu ate at her years.

I was pretty pumped with this chapter. But... why are some people making such a big deal of Sakura greeting Sasuke when he landed next to her, joking with Naruto about becoming Hokage if "he" does not keep up and a tiny marks on her face that can literally be anything? How does it destroy chapter 631 and how have we been slapped?


I'm sorry, but it looks to me like an overreaction. Or the last overreaction in a long string of overreactions. A chapter Hinata shows up and has a moment with Naruto, and a lot of people is crying because NH is canon. Several chapters later, there are blatant hints regarding Naruto and Sakura and everyone is glad and happy, declaring that NS IS canon. The next chapter Sakura mentions Sasuke and jokes with Naruto and people tells that that destroys the earlier chapter...


Can we calm down and relax, please?


Other than that... I found funny that whereas Shino was chiding Kiba, Hinata reassured him that she was listening to him. Not necessarily a KH hint, but funny.


And Sasuke smirked -or something like that- when Sakura devastated the enemy army. Maybe finally he is starting to respect her?


Other than every characters being suddenly obsessed with becoming Hokage I did not find too many things bothering me this chapter.


Oh, and the Sakura's rescue? I do not see how she "needed" being rescued. Naruto and Sasuke rescued her, but that does not mean that she needed her aid. That monster surprised her, but it did not get close to her.

I'm thinking it's more like Byakugo's offensive cousin but if it looks like Byakugo then that should mean that Sakura should be able to release it and get the markings on her body for even MORE power.

Great chapter!

 

First off I loved how Madara sat like a petulant child refusing to fight Hashirama's clone.

 

But of course the showcase was Sakura demonstrating just how far she's come and that she's no longer just a third wheel in regards to Team 7. The chapter was also a nostalgic reunion of Team 7 and a lot of their dynamic was the same as it ever was with the difference of Sakura's fighting on Naruto and Sasuke's level.

 

Of course I suspect SS shippers are going to have a field day with this chapter due to Sakura saying Sasuke's name before Naruto's but I just saw it as related to the nostalgia. Sakura is simply elated that she's able to stand on her own next to the boys of her team. Her statement about possibly snatching the hokage title relates to this.

 

I can't wait till next week!

It really bothers me. Yes I'm a narusaku fan but I'm a sakura fan first. She was blushing yes but I don't see what's so special even naruto was jealous ( I'm here too) She was absolutely amazing and those flashbacks with tsunade I'm guessing that was a follow to the same flashback we had in the sasori fight.

 

I still can't believe she's been saving her chakra for three years !!

Also, the last line was a bit touching "tsunade sama..I think I  can finally catch up to them!" shows how much it means to her
