Guys, I'm having this problem

 

I'm trying to make some words "bold" but after I do these, nothing happens. What I've done:

1. Block the word, click B (besides I and U), and the word is bold.

2. Add [bold]word[/bold]

But both don't work when I click "post". What should be on bold format stays the same like unformatted. 

 

Apparently, when I PM tricksie, it appears as bold in her screen but mine stays the same.

Anyone knows what I should do?

 

Addition: I have cleared my browser's cache and cookies too.

The underline and italic seem work fine.

Yes - best to just send any of the mods a pm with your request. I'm not sure where they sent their request to originally, but I didn't see it. Safest thing is for a current member to pm a mod with the new user's preferred username and email. Then we'll set it up!

Dear mods, my problem here V has solved. I'm testing it for the next seven days tho. (Oh look! I bold the "V" and it appears bold on my screen)    Thanks for fixing it!

i was on mobile just now and i could change the banner image, it's still another image on my mobile but now that i'm on pc it's gone. can you tell me where is that option?

At the top of the page there should be a few icons beside your name. The paintbrush lets you change it.

So, what happened with the notifications? It only load 30 of them. I mean, now, if i'm not at the precise momentwhen things happen, I could miss them.

I had to prune the notifications yesterday in an emergency.  Before, they were set as unlimited in their default settings, and they ballooned to over 1GB in our database after I switched topic notifications from e-mail to board notifications (due to increasing e-mail server costs).  We ended up over half a GB above our allowed hard disk space. 

 

I will definitely be looking at easing the restrictions, but it's possible that I may have to look into a server move first as our host package can't sustain H&E's growth for much longer.  We're on the biggest package as well. 

 

Ideally, it would be nice to find another fast and reliable host with more space and maybe even a strong e-mail package that would allow me to move away from Mandrill.  Mandrill's e-mail service has been solid, but I had to switch topic notifications from e-mail to board because we were generating so many of them after the manga ended that the costs kept going up.

Sorry, I did go off on a technical explanation. 

 

Yeah, in short, I had to curb some things because of the crazy traffic we got after the Naruto manga ended.  It's under control now, and hopefully I can sort out a new server for H&E and be able to increase the number of notifications we can keep, and maybe even put topic notifications back on e-mail.

Nope, I've been observing it for 2 weeks. Mine and other ones, but it has stopped...
