It was explained that Zetsu could do that way before he copied Neji, when he swapped places with Kisame.

Naw, more like Sakura is Sarah Connor, Naruto's Kyle Reese, and the Zetsus are T-800s.

I wouldn't be surprised if Madara or Kabuto himself attacked the medic camp head-on to get to Sakura and take her hostage. But with Naruto (the clone, though) there at her side, Kabuto's got no chance in hell taking her away from under his nose. Madara might, but even then, it'll be quite difficult.
The family that couldn't be.

where are you getting this? I'm pretty sure they're actually cousins, just that Hinata decided to call him nii-san for some reason
also this is probably just crazy talk but I noticed something time-wise... Hinata's confession was before Sakura's then Naruto shows up where Sakura is before Hinata ;o

Look at the quote that I quoted and you should understand. Unless you don't know who Arnold Schwarzenegger is.
"The time has come at last for you to learn everything . . .
Fare thee well, Albert, my friend."

Dude, twins may be identical but they're not the same person. They're still brothers so your father's brother's child is your cousin. Unless you're joking. I can't tell when it comes to you.

Yeah well I kind of missed that. So what I meant was that maybe I'm missing something again and Zetsu can in fact imitate Nine Tails mode.

Now, they really are cousins because well, their fathers are brothers. But they're also half siblings because their fathers are Identical twins. A coupling between them is practically incest.

Just to clarify that, I think it's a Japanese tradition that younger people call their older cousins nii-san, onee-chan, and other variations of saying brother or sister. Actually, scratch that, I think it's an Asian tradition in general. I'm Filipino, and I call my older cousins "ate" and "kuya", which are the words for sister and brother respectively. Anyways, that should clear up the reason Hinata refers to Neji as "Neji-nii"

I'm Filipino, and I call 'em that too. It's an Asian thing, but there is basis on why she calls him with that honorific, even if it isn't touched upon aside from general Japanese politeness.

@zacara - I get where you're coming from, being irritated with Naruto effortlessly protecting everyone. But I really do think it's being set up to either have Naruto burn off his power and become vulnerable, or that Kabuto/Madara have planned on him coming in and playing the hero. Their setting a trap. Because isn't this hero behavior exactly what Itachi warned against? So I think his hyper-heroic behavior is a setup.
About the possibility of Naruto being a Zetsu - So two things support this: Naruto's wicked smile, and Kiba's statement about his smell. But my problem with this is that Kiba would not notice any difference in smell if Naruto was a Zetsu. Naruto would no longer smell like himself — he would smell just like the Zetsus all around him. Kiba would have noticed that. He would have recognized that Naruto smelled like the bodies around them. To me, it makes sense that Kiba is picking up on Naruto's kyuubified chakra.
About his wicked smile.... Well, it definitely looks cocky. Very much like false Neji's. But it may just turn out to be Naruto being overly sure of himself. I don't know...there's not enough to support or counter it. Just have to just wait and see!
edit: - also, isn't today the day Ed and Al burned down their house in FMA?

edit2: Yup, it's today. Inscribed on Ed's watch: "Don't Forget 3. Oct. 11." Crazy!

Hi! I know I'm a little late, but I just wanted to share my opinion about the chapter. <3
I really loved this chapter. I had no idea that it was the twelfth anniversary, haha. The colour pages were great. Does anyone know when the exact date of the anniversary is? Like, October third or...?
Anyway, we finally got to see Sakura again! Not only that, but it was the NS reunion we've been waiting for! (although I probably would've preferred more interaction... but, that's to come!
Sakura's expression when the married Zetsu couple shows up is so sad. She has this really soft side and she couldn't bare to just leave them like that. It shows just how caring and sweet she truly is. <3
And, Naruto swoops in and saves her! Well, truthfully, I think she would have been able to take them on - Naruto just saved her the fight. I'm also surprised that the Zetsus only went for her - she must truly be a threat to the opposing side.
Naruto still uses "-chan"! That's awesome, because while many other fandoms claimed that he held a grudge against her, it's obvious he still loves her. <3
Gotta admit, I giggled a little bit when Hinata was punched, lol. But then it turned out to be a clone...
Like everyone else has said, this will definitely start up the Shipping Wars again, what with NH arguing Naruto loves Hinata because he saved the damsel-in-distress. Kishi obviously hasn't forgotten about the couples...
Though, Naruto addressed Sakura directly and looked straight at her. This makes their reunion that much more special~
Looks like Sakura and Naruto may be fighting side-by-side, finally! This should be exciting.
About Sojobo's theory - it's seems unlikely, but not impossible. Naruto's almost evil-looking smirk, and Kiba's comment on his smell... Definitely suspicious. At first I thought that was because of the Kyuubi cloak, but...
Naruto's saving everyone, again. I admit that bothers me a little, but it's to be expected... Just hope Sakura will be able to stand her own ground these coming chapters.
Sorry for rambling, but I really enjoyed this chapter. I can't wait for the next one, gaah. <3

Now, they really are cousins because well, their fathers are brothers. But they're also half siblings because their fathers are Identical twins. A coupling between them is practically incest.
From what I've read on the subject, they'd be genitically equivalent to half-siblings, though technically cousins like you said. But keep in mind that the universe of this manga is pretty much based on feudal Japan. I'm sure actual sibling marriage wasn't really a rarity in that time period, at least for noble families. So I really don't think 'cousins-that-are-genetically-half-siblings' would have been taboo either.
On top of that, Kishi's never actually shown in the manga that Hinata and Neji's status as 'genetic half-siblings' holds true in any way, shape, or form. Considering that it's a world of fish-men, giant foxes, and humans who can control space and time, I sort of gave up trying to understand the universe through a modern world perspective.
Though, personally, as far as the actual pairing goes, I really don't care for Neji/Hina. Even if it makes sense per feudal Japanese standards, I've never been a big fan of incest pairings in manga. I can handle step-siblings, and maybe distant relatives, but cousin/actual sibling pairings just weird me out. But I guess that's just me being an ignorant American, LOL.
Also, what do you mean with the bolded part of your statement? Even if they're closer to half-siblings than cousins, I don't see how it changes anything. It's incest either way, isn't it?
