Ahh, so this is the OVA I've been hearing about.

The moments between Naruto and Sakura in it are cute and the symmetry between the past and present Naruto and Sasuke is well done (even if it's mostly recycled).

The baby's cry at the end, though, seemed like an out of place sound effect. Oh it worked where it was placed following the megazoom-in transition, but it seemingly had nothing to do with anything.

If that part about Uniqlo being very closely linked to Kishimoto (close to a personal level) then that means the Sasuke vs Naruto fight is definitely something Kishi was involved in making. Although I think it's closer to a rough draft of what's going to happen.

So actually it implies that Naruto and Sasuke are going to have more than one fight in the future?

Since they're both still alive after the fight and we see Kabutomaru together with Madara.
And Madara has already taken Nagato's Rinnegan.
From the above two reasons I suspect it's on a later time than when Sakura goes off to try and kill Sasuke by herself.

About the baby:
I read somewhere it is an actual baby beeing born (probably Kurenai's) not sure where though think it was in a review on animecrazy. Search for the OVA first should come out on reviews if I'm not mistaken. (available for download over there to)

I think someone on Youtube said that the baby cry resembled to Sasuke's new born Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. But it's just a theory, we just gotta wait 'till more information comes out.

Now I might just be rambling but,

If they want to show that a new power has been born did someone ever (in anime in general not just the one based on Kishi's divine manga ) used the sound effect of a crying baby. Usually they just show it like a flash and a huge amount of destruction or in Sasuke's case perhaps the shape of his eye's pupil that would change. (what it did, I know but we haven't seen a shape that we haven't seen before Madara's MS and EMS were different to weren't they)

I know it isn't a very solid argument but I kind of dislike the idea that to show off a new power they use the sound of a crying baby.
Though I admit the timing of the sound is weird for announcing the birth of a baby. (the whole going into sasuke's sharingan thing)

Like you said whe just need to wait. To bad that accounts for pretty much everything that is discussed on this forum .

I've read up to page 6 on here and am finally replying.
I actually heard that this is a part of a dvd that was given out to about some people who had bought some Naruto shirts. I can't explain it exactly but yeah. I also heard that Kishi had talked to the people who animate Naruto about where the story itself is going, so they should know what's going to actually happen.

I think that this video is probably foreshadowing what could or would happen. In the first Naruto Shippuden OVA I saw, it seemed to have been foreshadowing as well. So when I watched this video, I assumed that it would also try to foreshadow a bit.

I hope this does happen though! When I first watched this video, I was like
I ended up rewatching it like 10 times!

Its just to show something about the next generation of ninja I0 think.

personally i dont wanna see any other generation expect naruto's and i want NARUTO to end with his generation ( i hate it when ppl make a new series with a whole new character. its like they can never be better than the first.) but thats just probably my insecurity talking....

I agree on the series with whole new characters. But i wouldn't mind seeing next generations as long as the focus still remains with naruto. Though this is a difficult statement to make if you consider that we are very lucky to see smthng of naruto in the manga nowadays .

i guess its just hard for me to believe that i started watching naruto at 12, and now im 18. so im sorta in naruto's generation and seeing the new generation after naruto means im getting older!!!! its kinda saddening...thats probably why I dont wanna see kurenai's baby being important cause then its the newer generation that would take over....

Well people say you're only as old as you feel (though I'm hoping not I'm 20 and feel like 86 or smthng). But look at it this way the older you get (before your 30) the more you grow up imo you can't talk of aging or becoming old until 30y (if I even get to that age)

yea i guess your right im still a kid inside so growing up even if its just 18 makes me uneasy. but its all good. I'll really start to complain when im 30 or somehing lol. but anyway. kurenai's baby might be shown later on. (why am i looking out for the baby to get the next spotlight?? i should have an eye out for konohamaru...... ) that boy already knows resengan, and naruto's clone jutsu >_>....

Well Konohamaru always stated he was going to be like naruto. And I'm guessing he's the same age as when Naruto learned those techniques

yea but i always thought naruto was special to learn those techniques fast and now konohamaru came out of nowhere and is doing them like nothing >:U but then again he probably trained alot also, and its not like he could summon more than two clones anyway....

Naruto was special because of his enormous chakra reserves other than that he had no talent at all. He has to train hard to get where he wants to be not like Sasuke who sees a technique and get it down in a day or two (without sharringan).

The only difference (other than kyuubi) between Naruto and Konohamaru is that Naruto has that chakra. Konohamaru does have the same nindo as Naruto doesn't he? That's why he can work so hard and develop those kind of techniques so fast.

This video have one hell of an Narusaku moment, there is an scene on it were Sakura is crying with Naruto in her lap, supposely dead, and than, in the ending of the video, suddenly, Naruto hand reachs Sakura face, and he smile to her, and Sakura break down in tears and hugs his chest, it's just marvelous, I can't even.... Oh, and about the rest of the video, it's just an build up of Naruto and Sasuke lifes as shinobis, but overal, it was nice.

I wasnt saying that they were going to make another series. I meant her baby was a symbol for the next generation of ninja.
