You know there's one thing about Naruto that left me curious when it came the the Zabuza arc and that was Gato. Why out of all the villians in the series was he the only one who wore a suit? I know it really shouldn't matter, but I was just curious like you see all these other threats and it's like ugh.. yeah then again Gato wasn't that important of a villian to begin with anyway. 

 

Looking back  now...yes Gato looked interesting as a villain indeed, I wonder why did the ninja world didn't had more people like him who had money and power to build their own armies of ninjas and use them to acquire control on a determined place.

 

I feel this could be a good angle for kishi to use if he was actually a good writer

 

 

I think Kishi roulette it and/or can't think anything more for Naruto because of his lack of creativity.

 

They are doing everything to not to let these series die, this much is true.

Is it cool to say that even though I like Kiba that I don't care about his love life since he wasn't really relevant in Part 2 (though I find him more relevant than Recnata)? I think they gave him a one shot because he is Recnata's teammate :o I just wanted my Team 7 movie...about them and Team Taka since they are actually relevant...

I agree. Though it confuses me that why is Kishi now deciding to do something with Kiba? He didn't a single thing throughout all of part 2 and now once the manga is over he gets a little bit of spotlight? Maybe this is the way of saying sorry to Kiba fans (are there any lol?) for him not getting any screentime in the Last.

 

Indeed, it looks like he is trying to compensate for the lack of focus on the secondary characters in part 2

 Part 1 did a lot better on this regard

 

It's  tragic when you see fanfics on FF.net in which the authors treat the such characters better than the original author did

We should have gotten more non ninja villains in the series. Gato was a fresh breath of air compared to most of the other villains

Same, but I really don't mind Kiba getting some fleshing out because I have no reason to hate Kiba. In my opinion Kiba's still a decent character because he at least he didn't do anything morally wrong, like some of the other characters did.

 

He also still seems like the same guy he was for the entire series in chapter 700, though I could see that easily changing with this one shot.

 

I don't know what to expect really.

With all the dumb stuff you saw in these last couple of months, can you safely say that?

Karin was taken out by a swift kick from Danzo. She's nothing without those Uzumaki chains, and even then it's no guarantee of victory since she can still be attacked. Konan is debatable. The only time we ever saw her fight without preparation she was quickly immobilised by Jiraiya after using some paper projectiles. If Tsunade uses Katsuyu, I believe she wins. 

Yeah she isn't but she's mainly a Sensory/Healing Type, the Chains are her offensive moves like Strength is to Tsunade/Sakura. She was able to get through the Wooden Buddha fairly easy with those so I doubt Tsunade would be a problem.....

Tsunade is a sennin, she would pwn Karin quite easily, those chains are no use against hax regeneration

Popularity shouldn't rule the story 
This story that will probably focus on romance between kiba and the cat lady will still be ridiculous bc kishi is the one doing it, but the popularity of kiba shouldn't be used as a reason not to do this one shot, the reason is kishi inability to be a good writer who will probably end up ruining one more character 

Do you know rose of Versailles?
Marie Antoinette is the protagonist before oscar(the side character) become popular and took the status of protagonist from her.

How would he develop the side character if his own main character(minus sasuke) is neglect.

But according to the manga, it’s NOT the system that needs to be changed, it’s the victims’ responsibility to endure the oppression. If fate dealt you with oppression, you should accept your fate. It’s the jinchuuriki’s responsibility to fill themselves with love, it’s the bijuu’s responsibility to learn to make friends with their host and make the best of their imprisonment inside some teenager’s belly.

The narrative constantly excuses Konoha and the village system, and put the the blame on the victims. Naruto never called out what’s wrong with the village system, instead, he TnJ the bijuus. In his final fight with Sasuke, he’s like “I tnj the bijuus, I don’t think they’ll do bad things again”, conveniently omitting the fact the villages were the ones who pissed them off first by capturing them, imprisoning them and turning them into weapons. Naruto told the victims to shut up and endure, he never got the guts to challenge the kages on their evil practices, because he wanted their acknowledgment and became one of them, not to fight them.

The narrative is also extremely hypocritical in portraying the villages as the good guys. The Akatsuki captured bijuus for their own ends, so did the villages. Akatsuki killed jinchuuriki during extraction. So did the villages, cos the bijuus die with the host and take years to reform. The villages must have done the extraction while the host is alive in order to reseal them into a new host. Sasuke kidnapped a jinchuuriki, Kumo kidnapped Hinata for her eyes. Obito started a war, the villages waged 3 wars against each other before that. Kumo used a peace treaty signing as an opportunity for the kidnapping. 

One of the most annoying thing in this series is seeing shinobi acting like peace loving victims. I’m sorry, if you’re an adult who made an informed decision to become a mercenary, shut up about peace or just find a civilian job.

Damn, I agree with every word of this. Think of how better the story could have been if this was ever addressed. Tricksie was right, the potential of a story is usally better than the story itself.

Does Zangei the black market corpse handler count? Last we saw of him, Ibiki was preparing to use some undisclosed torture method to extort information. It's safe to assume he was incarcerated afterwards. No one bothered to visit him in prison or try to understand how he became so engrossed in the criminal underworld.

Yes, because obviously the only ones who are worthy of second chances or compassion are people that Naruto can find some commonality with. He shouldn't be helping because they're flawed individuals with a capacity to change or because he's a good-natured person who tries to see the best in everyone. That would be expecting too much from Kishi.

Looking back now this story is indeed such a mess

 

Kishi would have done better by sticking with simple plots, he tried to deliver complex themes and messages and failed spetacularly
