Ok so apparently there's controversy about who Naruto is talking to when he says "I've got something important to tell you?"

 

Why is there reason to believe he's not talking to Sakura? I thought we already confirmed that he was talking to Sakura.

Funny how people freak over a CD cover yet no one says anything when we get 2 sets of matching Naruto and Sakura sketches...

I believe that's more symbolic.

Why is there reason to believe he's not talking to Sakura? I thought we already confirmed that he was talking to Sakura.

I'll explain to you. 

In fact, when Naruto talks to Sakura in japanese, he doesn't use any pronoun to say "you" he just calls her Sakura-chan when he's adressing directly to her. For example, during the promise of a life time, when we translated it as "Sakura-chan, you really like Sasuke huh." He was in fact saying サクラちゃんはサスケを本当に好きなんだろう。(sorry I don't remember the sentence exactly, but it's just to explain the thing) Well here, he's in fact saying "Sakura really likes Sasuke" but since it would be weird for us to see that while he's directly talking to her, we add a "you", but in japanese he doesn't use any "you" towards Sakura. 

And as another example, there is the recent episode in the anime:　その花を守るサクラちゃんを俺は守る。Litterally, "I'll protect the Sakura-chan who's protecting this flower" But in fact it's "I'll protect you, while you're protecting this flower."

While in that sentence he uses the pronoun お前 "omae" to say you, which is the pronoun he uses for all his peers. So it can't be Sakura.

The song is cute, but it sounds kinda sad... but I like this song. It's my type of relaxing song! I wonder what scene are they going to use this song.

The sentence doesn't even sound romantic in japanese, as I already said yesterdays, it's more like "I have a message to transmit to you, wait!" SO to me, it's related to the mission, he's surely talking to Sasuke.

LOL It's not the song and it's not the lyrics, that's just the same interview from the NH picture we saw 2 days ago, the one that was saying it was about love and stuff...  You can see it because it says "Naruto - The movie" in the middle of the video.

I just want to say Asian Kungfu Generation ROCK!!!!

In Rtn, kishi himself ask akg to make the theme song of Rtn. And it play when credit role.

The same could be said in this movie.

You know...to be honest, we've used the theory that SP/Kishi wouldn't spoil any pairings so early. So what if Naruto -is- talking to Sakura but the 'omae' is there to throw people off? If he said "Sakura-chan", then wouldn't that be kind of a big deal? Think about it for a moment.

 

Also, about the 'assistant tweet', I still have my doubts about it's authenticity. The way he spoke made me feel that he didn't know what was going to happen, and instead, talking in present tense. Call me crazy, but I'm preeeeeeeeeeeetty darn sure that, aside from Kishi himself, his assistants would -know- how the manga is going to end.

 

I could be wrong, but that's kind of how I'm viewing it.
